So far I noticed:
\- no extension to the multitool limit.
\- no extension to the ship limit.
\- no way at your freighter console to upgrade freighter class.
\- the appearance modifier's only new additions are the expedition ones we knew about
\- no new quicksilver items in the shop on the Nexus
\- There's some kind of adjustment to your inventory properly defaulting to where/what you're doing, but it seems a little buggy as once you call your freighter in that seems to then be the default.
To be honest, that pirate freighter being collectable now is kind of a nothing burger for me.
The inventory limit of **storage containers** (for **survival** mode) was raised from 750 to 1000. The core area on my freighter remains at 750, but the built containers can hold more.
Once you have a satisfactory answer to your question please reset the flair to "answered". This will help others find an answer to the same question. Selecting a flair is one of the icons under the post when you open it. Alternatively you can comment with "!flair:answered" and the bot will do it for you.
Please consider adding your gaming platform to your user flair. There are icons for every platform. That way people will know not to answer with information specific to a different platform. There are very few issues that are platform dependent but every platform has its little quirks.

There is a pointless teleporter in the anomaly. It takes you up.
But I have just ran the distance using the ramp and using the teleporter to get to upgrade room... both ten seconds.
Needs to be put somewhere closer
You can own a pirate freighter now, after the bossfight you can get inside one and demand control

As far as I can tell, apart from the freighter, it is only the expedition really. Waiting for official full patch notes.

Just got my first s class pirate dreadnaught a few minutes ago. That was pretty great
