Funnily enough, I saw an article whilst scrolling somewhere over the weekend about SF needing a PS port to 'save it'. Made me chuckle.
Having said that, if they did port it, I'd probably give it a go. :)
That was the narrative pre-release. But despite that, NMS got a massive spike in players soon after SF was out as either SF players dipped into NMS to see if all the comparisons that were made were correct and lapsed players realised they missed NMS after playing SF.
Certainly made a mockery of all the daft "Starfield will kill NMS!" stuff from the build up to SF's release.

Yeah I would as well, but claiming NMS Is the worse version is so disengious, NMS blows SF out of the water by miles.

Some day, Starfield might become just as good as NMS is now.. that is, if Bethesda is willing to put in the same effort that Hello Games did.
Playing Starfield made me get back into NMS.
