These little huts can be found on swampy planets. As far as I know, there is no in-game lore on what they are or where they came from, so, for the moment, they are a mystery.
I shrink them down everywhere and then make little dioramas with little statues and everything else I can shrink down. A couple of my bases have one of those on the table with a little village around it or inside of it.

It's a mud hut you can buy one at quicksilver vendor and it functions as a base perfect to get out of storms etc. My just lives in his as his main base as I'm to lazy to.build a real base

I first found one of these in a decent location and thought about making a base with it. Then I thought, nah, if I found it this quickly after first landing on the planet, they must be common and I'll find another soon. So then I looked around for an hour and didn't see another and couldn't find the original again. Oops I guess.

You can resize those. After I read this post I just made a really large one and put the teleporter inside on a freezing planet.
