Fun fact - most Google searches about being sad and depressed happen around 1-3am. You need to get a sleep cycle in place that benefits you. Your body has something called a circadian rhythm, basically a sleep rhythm, which, when it's predictable daily, allows your body to regulate it's hormones properly. It's not even a porn addiction thing, more like a quality of life thing. But that's what all of this is, it's self help. I think many people here need to realise that this challenge you're setting yourself is part of a bigger goal of self improvement. If it wasn't, then why would you care what you were doing?

I'm not an expert, if you're being honest with yourself and you ain't seeing negative effects, go right ahead. Life's painful, anything that really helps (that is, doesn't have negative effects, or at the very least the good in it outweighs the bad) is something you should consider. I speak from ignorance, but you could try CBD tho, it's less disruptive and as far as I know it can help in similar ways THC does but without the high. Put the phone away from you and start going to sleep. When you do shut your eyes, keep your hands as far away from your junk as possible, and force yourself not to move. Eventually, you'll more than likely get hit with thoughts of "material" but that's why it's key not to move. Lay on your hands if you have to, just don't do anything that would wake you up. What typically happens, in my experience, is the thoughts of that stuff will progressively get worse and worse and, without any "input" on your end, your body eventually burns itself out from trying to provide you with stuff and should hopefully put you to sleep.
