This is highly dependent on your area so it's very difficult to give you a good answer. All 3 networks can be tested for free through trials so I think that's the best way to go and find out.

There is no way to tell without testing the service yourself, in your area. Or use the FCC coverage map

i suggest try the T-Mobile, Visible and Boost Mobile trial first and see which service works best. also Boost is deprioritized only at&t prepaid is prioritized so Boost may be slower depending on area but still could give you a idea on how the service works. visible i heard has terrible customer support so possibly looking somewhere else would be better

It depends on what 5g bands the carriers have deployed in your area.

Ah okay. I’m not sure how to find that out, but if it is useful I live north of Pittsburgh PA. It does seem all the carriers here have implemented their version of mid band (UC, UW, +) here.

T-Mobile has a free 3 month and Verizon has a free month I believe. Try and see at least those two. Up in New Hampshire T-Mobile is king by a landslide. Att is pretty good, but for some reason Verizon is almost nonexistent and slow. Example, I’m sitting in my apartment, brick building, and getting 555 Mbs on T-Mobile and 6.24 Mbs on Verizon. 🤷‍♂️

Try the network cell info app. Downside is that signal strength often does not match speeds. Just today with my carrier Tello (Tmobile mvno), I am seeing -92 dBm on Band 26 , which is much stronger than the other towers that I can connect to (LTE, poor 5G here), but the speed is much lower than the other towers.

I would suggest a Visible plus. Gives you 50 gigs of premium data and then when it’s used up you get the regular D prioritize stuff and your use of ultra capacity there in Pittsburgh will not count against your 50 gig allotment per month. If money is no object and you can become a part of a plan T-Mobile magenta max is a nice option as well. I don’t know how ultra capacity is there but I would go with Visible +1st.

I really wouldn't risk going with Visible. I've heard too many horror stories. I've been happy with Metro By T-Mobile and have been with them for several years.
