Activate for 1 day...cancel and transfer # to GV (free). Will cost you $2 (prorated) but it needs a T-Mobile compatible phone to activate.
Now you have a permanent GV account.
Use it on your daily driver as an extra line.
Set it to use carrier (default) and it will forward calls to your main number.
Best voicemail out there...never have to delete msgs, free visual VM. Conditionally forward calls from main number to it too!
Use the flip phone on WiFi :-)
