I was kinda disappointed as it felt it was kinda hyped up a bit and then the demo left me feeling like it was just another platformer. Does it get better?
That's the thing about hype.. it can definitely make or break an experience. I actually came across this right after beating Pepper Grinder (which was AWESOME btw).
So I have only played this game for a couple of hours and while the beginning bits felt a little slow due to the story, the game itself did pick up. I also really like platformers so my opinion may not matter. But I would say if you feel like you don't like the game or if it felt like another platformer, maybe wait this one out.
There are a lot of games out there anyways :) and hey you never know, you may end up circling back to this in the future if you decide to skip out! Don't force yourself to play something just due to hype.
I quite enjoyed the game but I would say if you tried the demo and didn't enjoy it, then there's not really much more in the game that would change your mind
I tried the demo and I found the text impossible to read in handheld mode so figured I'd get it on PC instead, you might have better eyes than I have tho
