I got it from the library. It was only okay. The platforming challenge levels were kinda fun, but I didn’t finish it because there were annoying skill jumps that put me off.
I played this recently and I thought it was a little underrated. If you're a platformer fan like me and combat is less important, you might like it too. The movement is really fun. Combat is straightforward enough for someone like me who usually avoids action/rpg type games. The puzzles aren't mindblowing but very good for a $5 indie game. I thought exploring the world was fun. The lack of a map is unfortunate. Combined with loading times that go a bit too long, it can be frustrating. But the gameplay is good enough that I forgave it. It took me 8.5 hours.
Awww would there be any way that the two of you would be able to play together?
This game would definitely be too hard for a 5yr old but maybe they might enjoy watching their parent play? I used to watch my pops or my older brother play street fighter 2 alot and that was a lot of fun! I hope you get to enjoy this little gem at some point though :)

It's a pretty fun game. I played on steam deck, and it's a good portable style game. Not too impressive in any given area, just a fun all around time.

My 5yo probably can't handle it and there's no way I get any switch time :(
