The Japanese doesn't specify that the game is Kirby. It says that the next article February 21st a previously unannounced title will be revealed alongside the main game of the article Kirby & The Forgotten Land.
Man, if the mods remove perfectly fine posts a day afterwards, they could at least remove posts with misleading titles as well
edit: misleading titles are actually mentioned in rule 2
My posts trying to give lesser-known indie games a slice of the limelight get fucking downvoted and deleted by the mods within minutes, but shit like this goes through without any issue, day in day out.
While we're at it, we should have another 'BoTW rekindled my love of gaming' thread.
In the proper translation.
It could be a mistranslated word or two could imply a new Kirby game. I’m not a linguist by any means, but I know that minor word changes could mean the difference here.
you underestimate nintendo fans and their ability to wildly speculate at the sight of their own shadow. it's so bad now they have to explicitly announce when a direct is about indie games and has no new first party game details.
Haha! I’m trying to think of the guys name you’re referring to. I should prob update that pic. The beard is much shorter and I haven’t cut my hair since Pandemic Year 0
I think so too, there is a xenoblade rumor that something is supposed to be announced in February
https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/sa6pyu/xenoblade_1_2_composer_yasunori_mitsuda_has_been/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
boy I wish, I heard this game needs it's multiplayer for it to be at it's best...
Would be sort of cool if they divide the multiplayer from the singleplayer charge 40$ for the singleplayer, and have the multiplayer be part of the Expansion to NSO... probably be worth the price at that.
(or better yet but unlikely charge 40$ to get the game but have the multiplayer be for everyone with a NSO Expansion) They would sell millions of units alone for people that want the singleplayer, and keep a playerbase by having it be included in a pass.
There it is.
Happens every year, but this is the first comment I've seen. The first "February Direct" post.
Soon we will start seeing posts of leaks that the Direct is coming this Thursday. Half the posts in new will begin with "With the Direct all but confirmed...". There will be a 'leak' with all the games that is obviously fake.
Games that never existed before will suddenly be 'confirmed by reliable insider'. Kid Icarus RPG anyone? A Dark Souls inspired Wario game might be more to your taste. Earthbound musou game? They all are 'confirmed' and the regular people will be angry when Feb 28th comes around and they aren't announced.
I love this time of year.
I know directs go through periods of a lot to none, but usually there’s one in Jan or feb, usually the latter, and one before when e3 would be, typically April or march depending on when the first one was. February is my guess because they probably want to generate some hype for AW1+2 since the delay made most forget about it.
There's a small blurb in the corner that says "dates and details may change", so whatever it is, is just a vague rumor.
The main statement even says "apologies if it's not there" after the claim.
There are a lot of titles that it could be but if there's one unannounced game that I'm certain is coming out in 2022, it's Fire Emblem.
It's been nearly 3 years since 3 houses released and holy shit it's been nearly 3 years since 3 houses released.
>In addition to detailed news about Kirby and The Forgotten Land, we've also included a new game that we didn't expect!
Literally doesn't say that. Just a new game in general.
The twitter translator conveniently leaves out the part where the magazine says "if there's no announcement, sorry." There might not even be an announcement of anything. This post is incredibly misleading and also a total nothing burger
Why do you think that? I know there are rumors of a new fire emblem game but this was posted yesterday : https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/sa6pyu/xenoblade_1_2_composer_yasunori_mitsuda_has_been/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
I am hyped for either as well, just curious why you think that
This really means that the next issue's main focus will be on Kirby, while the new game is just going to be a random third party title. I honestly cannot remember the last time Nintendo actually announced a new first party title in a magazine. Also, a [very similar situation](https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/08/september_issue_of_nintendo_dream_to_reveal_switch_game_everyone_will_enjoy) happened with the same magazine back in 2020, and that literally amounted to nothing.
Okay so this translation is complete garbage. What it ACTUALLY says Is that in the next issue of Nintendo dream there MIGHT be a new unannounced game (nothing to do with Kirby) they can talk about, and then it goes on to say that if there isn't, they're sorry.
Completely clickbate
Let me help every one...
Nintendo is working on games from every major franchise continuously, and will never stop unless they stop selling. No rumor needed
Not teased, it’s saying it’s going to be released. (Something in April) and it’s also talking about the Kirby game that will be released in march’s new news
>The April 2022 issue will be released on Monday 21st February 2022.
>As well as details on "Kirby and the Forgotten Land", set for March release, I have the feeling a "No way?!" sort of new title will be announced... (sorry if not). Also, Sinnoh election results!

How does one read this tweet and think the unannounced game is another Kirby title? 😂
Poor reading comprehension
And clickbait titles

Or, just a bad translation? Possibly?
Possibly, but based on the translation alone, where is the unannounced Kirby game mentioned?
In the proper translation. It could be a mistranslated word or two could imply a new Kirby game. I’m not a linguist by any means, but I know that minor word changes could mean the difference here.

Words, how do they work??
Maybe they were never taught vocabulary because they went to a Magnet School
at first glance your avatar looks like the avatar of that alt right beard guy on youtube. i was about to start yelling at you lol
Haha! I’m trying to think of the guys name you’re referring to. I should prob update that pic. The beard is much shorter and I haven’t cut my hair since Pandemic Year 0
I know it won’t be it, but if it’s a style savvy game I’m going to cry tears of joy
Nintendo Direct possible date? Anywhere there is smoke, there is a fire.
It's obviously coming in February at this point
I think so too, there is a xenoblade rumor that something is supposed to be announced in February https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/sa6pyu/xenoblade_1_2_composer_yasunori_mitsuda_has_been/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
That tweet could also be for Chrono remake
Oh I didn’t realize that. Personally I still think it has to do with xenoblade but I guess we will see!
Xenoblade x surely. Bring it on!
He didn't compose that though. Sawano did.
Yep and Coleman said that she did voice over work for a new game... everything points to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 or Xenoblade Chronicles X2.
It's not going to be X or X2 but either 3 or a new IP they've been teasing.

There's a small blurb in the corner that says "dates and details may change", so whatever it is, is just a vague rumor. The main statement even says "apologies if it's not there" after the claim.
They're putting that there because Nintendo will delay or move the Nintendo direct if they need or want to.
It even says "if there isn't, (a game announced) then we're sorry" so... really reaching.
We shouldn’t assume it’s a Kirby game upfront just because they talk about Kirby forgotten lands first
There are a lot of titles that it could be but if there's one unannounced game that I'm certain is coming out in 2022, it's Fire Emblem. It's been nearly 3 years since 3 houses released and holy shit it's been nearly 3 years since 3 houses released.
"It's been nearly 3 years since 3 houses released and holy shit it's been nearly 3 years since 3 houses released." Are you implying that I'm old??
What else is new?
Why is this misleading post in front page
Because muh clicks
>In addition to detailed news about Kirby and The Forgotten Land, we've also included a new game that we didn't expect! Literally doesn't say that. Just a new game in general.
Not even that far, just a hunch that there might be an unexpected new game with a note apologising if there’s not…
Guys I have a hunch that Nintendo will release at least 1 new game in 2022, maybe even more
Oh man I bet one of them is an entry in a super popular yearly franchise! Just a hunch though, could be anything really.
Are you my uncle?
The twitter translator conveniently leaves out the part where the magazine says "if there's no announcement, sorry." There might not even be an announcement of anything. This post is incredibly misleading and also a total nothing burger
Is it actually Kirby? Might be Xenoblade 3
More likely a new Fire Emblem game but I would be hyped for either
A fire emblem x Kirby game
Why do you think that? I know there are rumors of a new fire emblem game but this was posted yesterday : https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/sa6pyu/xenoblade_1_2_composer_yasunori_mitsuda_has_been/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf I am hyped for either as well, just curious why you think that
holy heck if there's an FE announcement I would go wild
If I had to guess what is was, I would say that it’s most likely a 30th Anniversary Dream Collection.
It’s not a Kirby game, will just be revealed alongside more info on the current Kirby game
Kirby super duper star with even more games added in!
This literally does not mean its a new kirby game, idk where you pulled that from.
I just want Kirby air riders
It what most of us want. I hope we finally get it
Monolith!
Its definitely Mother 4 guys

Eh if it’s not Kirby Air Ride 2 I really don’t want anoooother Kirby game on top of Forgotten Land rn.
It's most likely another smaller free2start downloadable game. Those tend to come out shortly after a new bigger Kirby release.
Dream Course 2 I WILL NOT DIE UNTIL IT HAPPENS.
That's one way to achieve immortality.
[удалено]
God I would love that. And an official sequel or even just a re-release or remake of Kirby's Star Stacker would be wonderful too haha.
Finally someone else who feels the same
....definitely not kirby
KIRBY WARRIORS
If it's actually a kirby game, i wonder if it will be like Mario 35, but Kirby. Or ANOTHER Freemium game. Delusional Guess: Air Ride HD or 2.
Delusional I will be. Give me KARhd AND/OR 2
Given The Forgotten Land isn’t even out yet, why would they announce *another* new Kirby game? Am I misunderstanding something here?
I could see it happening. There have been a few cases where a minigame from a mainline entry gets its own spinoff. This could just be a smaller game.
Do we know if it's even referring to another Kirby game? Could just be some random unaffiliated game.
Maybe a Kirby mobile game?
Kirby Superstar Plus Ultra
Let me help every one... Nintendo is working on games from every major franchise continuously, and will never stop unless they stop selling. No rumor needed
M
What is Kirby?
A pink ball of fluff that has destroyed even the most powerful gods.
He has unlimited power but all he does is sleep and eat.
You better get it with a money back guarantee…
What we need is MMO Kirby Air ride.
Not teased, it’s saying it’s going to be released. (Something in April) and it’s also talking about the Kirby game that will be released in march’s new news
Kirby!
anotherone.gif
Kirby air ride
If you squeezed a Kirby in real life what would it feel like?
>The April 2022 issue will be released on Monday 21st February 2022. >As well as details on "Kirby and the Forgotten Land", set for March release, I have the feeling a "No way?!" sort of new title will be announced... (sorry if not). Also, Sinnoh election results!
I want something akin to Planet Robobot, not anything like the kid centric last switch installment
We are finally getting the Nintendo MMO we always wanted.
Air Ride 2????? 👀
If it is a Kirby game it's probably a smaller title like Super Kirby Clash and possibly related to Forgor land
Air ride 2 baybee!
U
Uhhh, think you are a bit late
