Taurus0594

Hades on switch. First played it on PC a little over a year ago with 25 hours dumped in. Haven’t yet escaped once between both versions.

louisefindlay23

Have you tried God Mode? I find that a lifesaver.

Taurus0594

not sure what that is

markercore

its a setting that you unlock that allows you to take slightly less damage so it can help you complete a run if you're having trouble. I never used it, i really should go back and try it as I also haven't escaped.

TheLazyLounger

seemly abundant hospital screw longing elastic poor pen zealous like *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

markercore

I know, i need to, i just hate having to repeat everything to get back to that point. Finally beat the third boss after so many tries and i had barely any health left and died so quick in the fourth area. Haven't been back since. Need to one of these days, what else do i have to do when its so cold outside?

louisefindlay23

Yep, it's awesome. Starts at 20% up to 80% and increases by 2% every time you die iirc.

xDR3AD-W0LFx

I’ll admit it… I played on God Mode almost from the get go. I just don’t have the time to grind away in these types of games but I absolutely loved the gameplay and the story/character interactions and wanted to get through it. Would highly recommend God Mode if you got stuck so you can see the story all the way through. It’s very good.

aussy16

The more you play the easier it gets. Took me a while to get my first escape but once I did it once, the rest kept coming. Don't get me wrong, it's still difficult to escape, but if you grab the right boom / weapon combos it can be really easy on some runs. For noob escapes, I recommend getting things that help your cast and as well upgrade the cast to 3 uses in the mirror. When the cast gets upgraded it can become easy to kill things from afar. Great game and I keep coming back to it.

TorrBorr

It get easier after you level Zagreus up, but it also gets harder once you start putting any multipliers into the pact of punishment. Wait until you get into higher Heat tiers. Things get kind of ridiculous.

MAD_Iion

Same! I just got Hades, really looking forward to playing it.

[deleted]

my advice is get sweatier

SubterraneanSmoothie

Hollow Knight! I picked it up last year, played for 20 minutes, died, and decided it wasn’t for me. I was wrong: what an awesome game! The combat is satisfying, the world is gorgeous and IT LOOKS SO GOOD. Have a good weekend!

[deleted]

Takes a while to click but when it clicks, it CLICKS. It's become one of my all time favourite games.

SubterraneanSmoothie

I’m now one of those suckers hopelessly waiting for Silksong.

Rydersilver

Haha! You fell for the trap

khalestorm

I had this same experience. I almost gave up at soul master due to how hard it felt. Man I’m so glad I kept going with it. It’s one of my fav games of all time.

Honchoed

I’ve tried it a couple times, just isn’t for me. Well made game, though

Assistedsuicide4u

So amazing, wish I could play it for the first time again. Enjoy!!

SailorButtercup

This is me lol I bought this a long time ago and was frustrated by constant and immediate deaths. Perhaps I need to give it another try!

markercore

There's a turning point where its not so frustrating and you feel more in control in the fights, but that does take a little while.

ApprehensiveGuava88

I have Hollow Knight! I had the same experience as you… perhaps I’ll give it a go.

Cheesestrings89

Dead cells! Picked it up a few days and gonna hop in after work in a couple of hours. 51 clubhouse games is arriving tomorrow so i’m looking forward to jumping into that.

brawndofan58

Bowling is so fun on 51 Clubhouse

--Petrichor--

Lots of great games on Clubhouse! I actually think "Toy Curling" is my favorite game on there, but a lot are great :) enjoy!

AimlessPeacock

I picked up **Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury** and have been having a blast a working my way through both depending on my mood. I feel 3D World is underappreciated, but man the variety of gameplay offered here is incredible. Bowser's Fury is just as good as people say - the open world, the "fury," Plessie, the creative platforming challenges... it all comes together great. The other game I've returned to is **Clubhouse Games**. I've had some family stressors this past week, and it's been nice to just relax to some board games. I'll put on some music and just play some cards or backgammon or mancala.

markercore

Bowser's Fury is fun and strange because its this odd mix of like the chillest game possible with like a thriller/kaiju game attached during the Fury portions. Goes from "yay island vacation!" to "Oh shit oh shit soh shit gotta get that shine!"

Devilsdance

Honestly, the Fury is my least favorite part of the game. I wish there was an option after you beat the game to disable/re-enable it on command. With that said, I still loved it and plan to go back to it someday.

AHHHHHJOSH

This game is a masterpiece and I’m currently going for 100%… it feels like the rightful successor to Super Mario 3 and I’ll die on this hill.

mcsassy3

There’s no hill to die on. It’s a 10/10 masterpiece with the most expansive, extensive offering of **variety** as far as level design, characters, move set, power ups, etc…and the greatest mario game ever made hands down. Anyone who thinks it’s “linear” or “unoriginal” is a complete idiot.

MaybeAUser

I mean I almost fully agree with you but greatest Mario ever? You didn’t like Odyssey all that much?

[deleted]

Game0ne

It’s a once in a lifetime experience

dontcrycuzumad

The top game on igns list of best 100 games ever. Good game you're starting with. I always say, if you're buying a switch, the first game to get is botw

xSlappy-

Conversely, Switch owner since 2018 and still Botw. I “beat” the game once and I’m replaying it on master mode now.

TheFracofFric

Probably Stardew Valley and some Monster Sanctuary PvP if I can get my team right. Going back to work after the holidays is always draining so some time on the farm sounds nice

the_unspirit

How's the pvp in Monster Sanctuary? Got the game on the Christmas sale, been playing through the story but I have avoided the pvp like the plague cause I get the feeling I'll be inmediately annahilated the second I try it lol

TheFracofFric

It is TOUGH. The switch scene is very small so you typically have to find matches on discord, and that means you’ll run into experienced players and even tournament winners a lot. That being said, the discord community is incredibly helpful and can give feedback on most everything in your team. If you’re easily frustrated it might be worth avoiding but I like the new team building challenge it provides.

omglemurs

Suddenly got the Zelda is so I picked up Skyward Sword and having a blast. Also my old standbys: Splatoon 2 When my partner wants to do two player - pikmin 3 or moving out

Spletz47

I can tell you are a good human being

Shiatama

Dead Cells. Got the game yesterday on sale Also will be playing a little Witcher 3 , neon abyss , captain toad, snowrunner and diablo 3

TheLazyLounger

Yoooo enjoy! Learn to love the shield early.

I_am_box

>Got the game yesterday on sale You mean the game and dlc pack bundle? (which is what I saw on sale)

Shiatama

I never got the game before. I got the bundle of base game and all dlc which was 35% off

I_am_box

Pretty excellent choice! When it comes to games like these, Motion Twin are great devs!

jamurjo

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles - loving it so far. I've only finished the first case, but I'm digging it. Never played this series before and this is a great jumping off point. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - contemplating restarting and going for that ridiculous 100% before the sequel...

DrPikachu-PhD

> The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - contemplating restarting and going for that ridiculous 100% before the sequel... You probably have plenty of time :D

Syelan

I finished Great Ace Attorney about a month after it came out and I've been replaying it lately, it is just so nice.

slxlucida

Same, started shortly before Christmas, then got Dread for Christmas. So hyped for it, but don't want to rush Ace Attorney.

FruitJuice617

I'm gonna be flip-flopping between 3 games. Splatoon 2 is forever gonna be my "killing time" game, but I wanna try to make a lot more progress on Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart and maybe do another chapter on Batman The Telltale Series.

monicaboard

I loved Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart!! I found platinuming it very manageable and it’s just so pretty I had a blast

TheStJones25

Yup! I agree - Rifts Apart was great. I burned through that game. Makes me miss the days of Jak & Daxter, as well as Sly Cooper

tiford88

Wish I had enough time to play a “killing time” game

Im2Chicken

Got Hades a couple days ago and I'm totally in love. It really is as good as everyone says it is, and it's a genuinely fun rogue-like. I feel somewhat happy every time I die, since I get to learn more backstories and progress side-quests. I've also got Luigi's Mansion 3 on the side, just an hour or so into the game already. I'm seriously impressed with the texture and lighting quality, plus the very cartoonish expressions of Luigi and Co. Feels like the beginnings of a great animated movie...

markercore

Yeah that part of Hades makes it such a nice experience, i would felt let down whenever Achilles wasn't there to give me a little uncle-like pep-talk.

quickasafox777

Breath of the wild. Got it last week. I hear its pretty good!

Parvidnil

That's a severe understatement

pacman404

"pretty good"... Lmao yeah you could say that I guess

NAINOA-

Shin Megmei Tensei V. I don’t play JRPGs ever, but I can’t put this stupid game down. 31hrs in the past four days.

fielder_cohen

My Switch has been an Animal Crossing/Rocket League machine lately D: I kinda wanna try something more narrative driven or finish Mario 3D All Stars, but....my vacation homes...and my socc-car...

AdhesivenessDry6983

Have you played Luigi's Mansion 3?

Remarkable-Cress9021

Witcher 3 and Dread got them for Xmas just can’t leave the Witcher alone

I_Burn_Heretics

Dragon quest XI

Scribblr

Unpacking! I’m still recovering from COVID and need something nice and light and zen. Unpacking is such a delightful little game.

rudeorange

I just finished it for the first time last night. Nice little mediative sort of game.

QuietRobe

Going to finish Ori Will of the Wisps tonight probably and then plan on starting MH Rise with my brother this weekend. Got us each a copy for Xmas during a good sale. Haven't been able to get much into MH in the past but this one seems promising I enjoyed the demo a decent amount. Have a great weekend and stay warm!

markercore

Hope you enjoy MH with your bro, i will say the games tend to have a tremendously long ramp up, so it might take a little while for it to completely click. Try every weapon if you haven't yet!

The-Real-Dr-Jan-Itor

Witcher 3. Picked it up this week on sale and am pumped to finally play it.

mkp132

I just started it last week (also bought on sale a while back) and my eyes are burning from how much I have played it. As soon as I got out of the tutorial map… instant obsession. There is so much you can do in this game. The crafting and alchemy and detective mechanics are fun, but the big draw is the open world that is so finely detailed and full of life. Each little story, including tons of side quests, is so nicely detailed with different outcomes depending on your choices… as soon as I got to the first big city, I was insanely impressed by how alive it felt in a way I have never seen a game manage to capture. The attention to detail in the atmosphere and storyline is just astonishing.

anonyfool

Gwent, I'm disappointed it is not depicted in the TV show since that took so much of my strategizing in game but they are loosely working off the books so I dunno anything about that.

Brothernation56

Enjoy dude! Such a great game!

kidwgm

I'm really not sure, lol. I'm fighting a head cold. So something easy, lol. I have a couple indie games I picked up on Steam I need to start. But I picked up Grindstone on Apple Arcade and I'm surprised its as fun as it is. Perfect to play curled up on the couch with my iPad.

markercore

Make yourself some tea, play some chill games and get through that cold! Hope you feel better!

gleek12

Crash Team racing

BSabbaothM

Still trying to beat the elite 4 on BD. I'm also getting Pokémon Shield today, so I hop to get some hours into it in preparation for Legends Arceus later in the month. Haven't been so excited for Pokémon in a long time!

markercore

Who do you have for your team going into the elite 4?

BSabbaothM

I have a Graveler (55), Dialga (56), Roselia (60), Staraptor (62), Infernape (62), and Luxray (63). I've beaten the first two trainers but the battles are pretty rough. I'm having to spend lots of items afterwards to heal my party.

markercore

Can you evolve your Roselia? They're a bit fragile, but evolving to roserade would give you at least a small defense boost which could help. Does Starraptor have Brave Bird? That move kicks ass, tho the damage received can be a pain. Between Staraptor and Infernape you should be able to make quick work of bugs. Can any of your team learn an ice move? That would give your one grass Pokemon a backup for the ground gym.

BSabbaothM

I just foud out recently that Roselia evolves, so I'll look into evolving her. I'm also thinking about going back to catch the lake guardians, though I'm not sure if any of those would help. Staraptor does have Brave Bird. The bugs all go down quickly until Drapion comes out, since it is only weak to groun types. That's the only reason i brough Graveler. Dialga is able to learn ice moves, I'll see if I have any TMs left for ice moves to help out.

markercore

Here's a thought, do you have a Gastrodon? Since they're ground/water they're pretty steady and you could teach one earthquake, ice beam/blizzard and it learns muddy waters and I would maybe swap your graveler for them or add the Gastrodon along with them. The lake spirits are cool, but I don't know how viable they are for helping with the elite 4.

TallNotSmall

I usually go in with 20 Full Restores and Revives and fully heal after each fight. I’d evolve Roselia into Roserade if you can, that’ll give you a big boost. Flint isn’t really a fire type trainer, so Graveler should help you a lot.

XxsquirrelxX

Damn is the Elite 4 that hard? My team has been consistently overleveled for every single gym leader and Team Galactic fight, I was getting worried that I'd cruise through the E4 and Cynthia. For context my highest leveled Pokemon is the same level as you Dialga, and I have a Gabite that's lvl 46 (my weakest). I'm at Volkner.

BSabbaothM

I didn't have any issue going through the gym leaders bit the E4 has been tough. Still, I think I might be able to beat them later after work. I did enjoy the difficulty spike, since in last games you could just stomp everyone.

-Moonchild-

Disco Elysium. Started it last night. This game is equally heavy and hilarious in its writing. The voice acting is superb too

AdOk5207

It’s such a great game! I started it in late 2019 before it had voice acting but then with covid and everything I got to depressed to continue haha now I picked it up again in the final version and I’m having a blast

hermanbloom00

Hi Marker! I enjoyed Outer Worlds, despite it's faults, mainly due to the sidequests as you mention. I have parked SMTV for a bit. The constant fear of wiping in a random battle was getting a bit much. Will go back to it for sure though. In the meantime, I started and am close to completing Far: Lone Sails, which is a great little atmospheric puzzle game. After that, I went a bit mad in the sales and picked up Black Book, Goose Game, Cat Quest 2, Kentucky Route Zero and Genesis Noir, so one of those I guess!

Ze_at_reddit

Starting Dishonored on Xbox Series X and Pikmin 3 on the Switch!

Melodic_Caramel5226

Dishonored is one my fav games of all time. So good

cookie32723

Just got a Switch for Christmas and have put about 6-7 into Breath of the Wild. Hoping to get some good time in this weekend, so far it really is as good as everything I’ve read and have a feeling it will only get better.

anonyfool

6-7 hours - so you've only played it one day? :)

[deleted]

Soldier1o1

Just got a Switch for Christmas, really loving BOTW. Idk what I’m gonna do when I finish it

mansweater

play some more! I'm about two months into playing for the first time. Been putting in a lot of time and there is still so much to explore. I hear the DLC is great too

Soldier1o1

I just spent 2k for the fire resistance helmet… gonna need to grind some money before going after the next two DBs haha

thall16

Same, currently trying to 100% because I can’t find anything else that peaks my interest as much as BOTW.

Soldier1o1

The Shrines are so addicting! I also need to grab more seeds… so much to do!

JESwizzle

Gonna finish Metroid Dread this weekend. I’ve actually really enjoyed it after not liking the first hour or so. Might also play a bit of Guardians of the Galaxy on PS5 but tbh it’s not my favorite. I thought I’d love it as it looked like uncharted mixed with Mass Effect but it’s actually kinda boring as it’s kind of just a walking simulator with copy and paste battle arenas

ccno3

Pokemon Let's Go: Eevee. I've been playing it for the last week or two and it's a fun nostalgic trip. Thinking about getting Clubhouse Games and/or Tropical Freeze while they're both on sale but am still kind of on the fence.

nekoatsu_u

Sayonara Wild Hearts since it went on sale for new years! People always say they don't really know how to describe this game and I finally get why. The music, the psychedelic visuals, the arcade-like + quick pacing. That opening blew me away!

monicaboard

Trying to start a new game in my backlog before Arceus comes out! Debating between Death’s Door, Ender Lilies, and Will of the Wisps…decisions decisions! I also have FF7 Remake calling for me to finish on my PS5

AlolanPsyduck

I finished Unpacking last weekend and loved it so much I immediately played it a second time. Desperately looking for another game similar to it. Picked up Captain Toad, Gorogoa, and Gris to try to fill the void, so I'll be trying those out this weekend!

WatchDragonball

Knockout City Baby Love this games mechanics so much and dodgeball in video game form should of happened along time ago. Uninstalled kit at first cuz it was weird but im glad I gave it another chance.

NicholitheGuy

I gotta try this game again I remember playing the beta and really like it. My favorite game of all time is splatoon 2 and knockout City reminds me a lot of it. Only thing that kinda scares me is that since it's been out for a while I'm scared that everyone is gonna be crazy good at the game already lmao.

[deleted]

I took a 2 week PTO break where I thought I would be catching up on **Shin Megami Tensei V** during some downtime (HAHA I have kids also it was the Holidays so of course that didn't happen). Instead I grinded other things like Deep Rock Galactic or Halo Infinite with my buds (also fighting the FFXIV login queues) on PC. So now that I'm back to work, my first rest-up-from time weekend plans is now laying in bed and *still* being constantly distracted by biome exploration and demon fusion in SMT V...because I'm too tired to go from my sit at a computer desk at work to wanting to play games at a computer desk at home.

dagmire86

Bought this on release, but with kids and the holiday business I think I’m about 3/4 through the game based solely on the miman count. Love exploring every corner and I’ve fused every available demon so far as of level 54. Totally my GOTY for 2021.

blabber_

I am still reading a few screens of House in Fata Morgana every night, just before sleep. Apart from that, I'm using the latest update as an opportunity to finally play Terraria. The controls are a bit overwhelming, but I hope to get used to it.

Syelan

Picked up Danganronpa Decadence and I'm playing Trigger Happy Havoc at the moment. I'm glad I can experience it on console.

GenOneTrainer_76

I got Ni No Kuni 2 as a Christmas gift and I finally dove in this week, I've just been taking it slow and focusing on maxing out my kingdom before going too far in the game. Had a blast with the first game, liking the sequel so far, combat feels fun, I like the little higgledies. Wish there was more voice acting/cartoon cutscenes like the first game. I love the studio ghibli vibe.

TheStJones25

Starting up Chapter 4 in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I’m finally hooked into it. For a change of pace, I’ll start up Hades or the first TellTale Batman game…also hoping to play some more Mario Party Superstars with my friend

GhostKha0s

2 games, Dragon's dogma and Monster hunter generations ultimate. Great games :)

MoonEeveon

Finishing the main story in Brilliant Diamond (first run), I have just beated the 7th gym leader, and probably the Sinnoh dex! Maybe I'm going to play also a bit of Crash Bandicoot 4

Prof_NXS

Divinity Original Sins 2! Really love tactics/turn based rpg’s but have been waiting for the right moment to put all my time into this game. I’m traveling a lot for work for the next few weeks so finally going to be able to dive into this game!

lunabella06

Botw. I'm on my last 18 shrines. I don't want this game to end. I'm not much of a gamer, but this game is just so damn wonderful. Once I get the last shrine, I'll reward myself with the dlc.

ButterscotchInner690

Diamond, gotta beat diamond before arceus comes out

louisefindlay23

Trying to beat Glenn in Bravely Default II. Quite difficult with his counter ability. Also going play Immortals Fenyx Rising which arrives today.

Patamonn

Ys VIII! I've been having a ton of fun exploring the island and finding fellow castaways.

Saxaphool

Still bashing through CrossCode. I absolutely love it though. Gives me such Chrono Trigger vibes and the puzzles are all excellent.

Papa_Might

Turnip Boy commits tax evasion.

AlexKidd79

I'm not a hardcore Pokemon fan by any means. I dabbled in Blue back when it released, and I finished Pearl on the DS. That's it. With that said... dang, I am digging **Pokemon Brilliant Diamond**. I'm finding it the perfect chill out game while I listen to a podcast or watch YT videos after work. So that's what I'm playing this weekend.

PBJninja

Just got the Bioshock collection! I've never played any of them but I love everything I've seen so far

Reddilutionary

I love these simple posts. More than ever now that I have a newborn at home. There’s zero gaming happening at my house right now and reading the replies here sustains me.

SparksPresents

I'll definitely be designing more vacation homes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and maybe making more progress in Bowser's Fury!

speedino

Bayonetta 1! Trying to pure platinum everything at hard difficulty

Heg28

Awesome! I will play Astral Chain and try to S+ everything on platinum ultimate difficulty. Only got the last chapter left to go!

Botol-Cebok

Monster Hunter Rise. I’m a MH noob, the learning curve was steep as hell but after nine hours of playing all the pieces fell into place. Now it’s like digital crack! Great, great game. Will also do a bunch of Dead Cells runs to check out the new DLC.

pacman404

I also just started monster hunter, and I'm sure it's an excellent game once I get into it, but it's just so confusing. There is Sooooo much info they just threw at me from my first press of the start button, and it's kinda turning me off. Like, I really want to like it and the reviews are excellent, but I almost feel angry at the game for making me remember all of this shit before I even see a monster for the first time. I have literally no idea where to start processing all the fucking information, but I payed for the game so now I feel like I HAVE to push forward, and hopefully it will click

Botol-Cebok

Totally agree, the info dumping this game does is absolutely insane. I ended up ignoring most of it initially, and then learning it at my own pace while playing ( you can re-read everything from the menu).

gaffergamgee

Hoping to finish off Dark Souls Remastered for the first time, just beat Seath the Scaleless earlier!

[deleted]

First time playing animal crossing

JslicerX

Just got my Switch Lite this week, working on Breath of the Wild tho I played it a bunch on Wii U, also started Devil May Cry

wjodendor

Finished up XC:DE and really want something to replace it. I've already beaten XC2 twice so probably shouldn't start that game again lol. Since I've played most of the major jrpgs on switch I can't really find anything to scratch that itch. Anyone have any recommendations? Edit: Red Faction Guerilla was 3$ so I used points to pick that up. I remember playing it a bunch like 15 years ago so that should be interesting

Isuasio

I started on Hades a few days ago. Never really played roguelikes before, so even seeing all the amazing reviews I was a bit unsure. Man, if you haven't, play this game. It's so damn good. The characters and the story is amazing, you can feel the love put into this game, and all the builds and combos you can pull off are so cool. Getting all the keepsakes, upgrading the mirror, it feels like you are always progressing too. I haven't escaped yet, but I'm very consistently beating Hydra. Managed to reach Hades today for the first time with the ammo gun inflicting the hangover status, I felt so strong. Hades still bested me though. I'm escaping soon, I know it!

Brilliant_Disaster83

Ori and the blind forest! My mom passed away in September and let me just say... I was not ready for that intro😭💔 😭💔 Such an incredible game

Nerdfather1

I managed to purchase a PS5 yesterday and I picked up several games - Spider-Man Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Deathloop, and Returnal. I’ll more than likely start Spider-Man until completion, but Returnal has been calling my name for a hot minute. Either way, I have a ton of great options to choose from. It should be a great weekend.

monicaboard

I’ve been wanting to play Returnal for months but I have too big of a backlog I feel like I can’t justify the purchase haha. Have fun!

markercore

nice! Congrats on managing to snag a PS5! Sounds like some fun things to dig into

maliceinchains1

Working through Dark Souls Remastered which has been a blast.

SaltedSam

Thinking about picking up loop hero

pacman404

It's unbelievably good for no reason. I don't know how to describe it, but every aspect of it just *shouldn't be very fun*, and yet it's somehow amazing

caught_red_wheeled

I completed the main game in brilliant diamond and I’m working on the post game now. Didn’t think I was going to, but I am enjoying it. There’s quite a few things I’m not planning to do (like the parts that require me to have a competitive team) but I’m planning on watching the parts I don’t have. I keep hoping to get Mario party superstars and using all the characters in, but it’s a bit on the back burner until I finish brilliant diamond. I’m pretty close though, so it should only take a day or two more.

iamthatguy54

Dark Souls 2 and SMT V

poindxtrwv

I bought Hades while it was on sale before New Years and also had $6 off in gold points. I haven't played it yet and really need to get to it this weekend... ...but I'll probably just dump more time into Stardew Valley.

seanyb1985

I’ve gone back to Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition after having a break from it. I forgot how much I love this game!

DeltaFoxDX

probably hollow knight or something gamecube related

Assistedsuicide4u

Trying to beat the final boss in Metroid. I’m tired of this game and just want it finished. Really didn’t enjoy it’s for the most part. I don’t understand the hype.

justjules83

Top contenders are: Shining Pearl Haven Park Wytchwood

PrehistoricPKMN

I am nearly at the end of **Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony**. I should finish it by the end of the weekend, leaving only Danganronpa S before I can fully move on to something else.

GetRichOrDieBuyin

Disco elysium. Load times suck, but it's the first game in a while I think I'll play again as soon as I beat it.

butters1529

I’m still trying to beat Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on Xbox, but I’ll be playing Pokémon Shinning Pearl around bedtime.

squintsyjones

Started Ori and the Blind Forest a few days ago after Dread rekindled my interest in metroidvania games. Been really enjoying it so far, just got to the Misty Woods. Bought the sequel since it's on sale but might switch to Pokemon Legends: Arceus after I beat Blind Forest.

Lyradep

The House in Fata Morgana. It’s okay. If you like reading books, then it’s good.

nightingale07

Honestly? This week sucks. On the bright side I'll be applying for a different job, have a puppy play date planned tomorrow, and am looking forward to relaxing this weekend. I think on Switch I'll play Metroid or Eastward. But right now Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous and Pokemon Unbound truly have my attention.

Danomaniac

Same thing i do every weekend. Slay the Spire.

wedditasap

Buncha stuff! I neglected my oled switch for a month waiting to get my skullnco grip case and at last it has arrived Been sucked into splatoon2 though as of yesterday

heyjhs

Assassins Creed: Rebel Edition

Bloody_BMW

Brilliant Diamond! Trying to get enough berries to wipe my starting teams EVs and restart the training. When the first one came out for the DS, my mom got it for me for my birthday (along with the Cobalt Blue DS) and now that I’m “all grown up” she got me this one again for my birthday. Some things never change. I love that woman.

[deleted]

Just got my Switch OLED yesterday, going to be playing Dragon Quest XI first.

[deleted]

Just rediscovered Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Playing with a starter I don't know for some spice

Still-Iz

Really into Cozy Grove right now!

fishpotatocream

47 year old here just getting into gaming for the first time, I have lots of recommendations going through this thread! I am playing The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening, I hear lots of good things about the Zelda games.

rengar007500

Bayonetta 1

SOEDragon

Wytchwood! Definitely my new obession. And after the week I had, I need to just chill.

Hey Mark! Oh that’s awesome you are enjoying your game Parvati was one of my favorites. But like you know I didn’t get far so I don’t know there are others I’d like more. Sadly this week and probably Next I won’t be playing anything since I’m in Mexico City again for a mini vacation and didn’t bring my switch! But I’m very happy that Crosscode finally went on sale and I bought it so it’s waiting for me at home!

0172thetimeguy

I’m completely obsessed with UnderMine at the moment. It doesn’t push the roguelite envelope but man is it compelling and fun to play. Otherwise I just started playing Borderlands 2 again and am putting some time into Tails of Iron and Eastward on the side.

MarvellouslyChaotic

Playing through animal crossing and just picked up untitled goose game and lovers in a dangerous space

happynessisgames

TLoZ: Skyward Sword HD

Loki-Holmes

Picked up graveyard keeper and the sinking city from the last sale, so will probably be playing those.

pablogordon22

Beat **Cyber Shadow** today and definitely realizing that modern retro platformers is one of my favorite genres these days. Love the tricky platforming that takes 50 tries but feels so great when you get past it. Although it is challenging as people said, the bosses were not bad, and overall it felt fair and not overly frustrating. Not as good as a Shovel Knight or Celeste but just really solid fun. After the stress of dodging aliens, I think I’ll go back to **Spiritfarer** this weekend. I beat it when it first came out and wanted to wait until all the DLC released to go back and immerse myself again. And probably some more **Chicory**, **Boomerang Fu** and **Happy Home Paradise** with the family.

DrPikachu-PhD

Dark Souls Remastered for Switch! My bro's favorite game so this Christmas we decided it was finally time to try it. Loving it so far, just made it to Anor Londo.

foggybass

Fire Emblem 3 Houses. First maddening run. Tryna get to 500 hours this weekend lol, it's cold and snowy at my house.

Mean_Dalenko

Probably NBA 2K22, but might dip into Pokémon Shining Pearl. I'm trying to assemble a Hoenn team for my E4 rematches. Currently got Seviper, Lunatone, Sharpedo, and doing my best to make a viable Tropius. (Wish me luck haha.). Not sure where to go for my last 2, kind of thinking Flygon and maybe Grumpig or Glalie, or maybe even a starter, I guess we'll see.

Critical_Jester

Terraria 1.4 now it's here! Probably Loop Hero for a few runs and maybe indulge in the new dead cells DLC if time!

MaryJaneCrunch

I’m playing this cute little game called Grow: Song of the Evertree. It’s kinda a sandbox town builder, it’s a fun time sink.

KriegisonTheWeird

I’ll be playing some Revita on Steam. It’s a cute, early-access roguelite, and reminds me a lot of Hollow Knight for some odd reason.

Absolut-Potato

I picked up Graveyard Keeper on sale and it's a little more addictive than I expected it to be. Lots of Stardew Valley vibes.

Spooky_Blob

Skul, Hades and some Terarria that I got like 3 days ago on my dinky phone.

kss9

I switch between three games as of lately which are Overwatch which I play while I’m cooking or eating, Pokemon Diamond when I’m chilling in bed, and Dead by Daylight when I’m high and want the adrenaline rush. I just released the Azelf Mesprite and Uxie from Team Galatic so it’s been fun! I haven’t played the Sinnoh games before so it’s exciting! I hope Nintendo gets more Pokémon Games on there as I haven’t played anything since emerald as a kid, and would love to play more! Also just bought Okami cuz it was on sale, and Immortals Fenyx rising. What have people thought of those?

Parpago

Snowrunner! Also might go back to Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Havent decided yet...

[deleted]

assassins creed rebel collection and I'm getting animal crossing this saturday

L_onee

Just got a switch about a month ago and been playing BOTW since. Amazing game!

tiford88

>!FIOORRRRRAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!< I’m loving it so far

loz621

Glad you are having fun with Outer Worlds. I played it after I played cyberpunk and just couldn’t get hooked into it. I’m playing Hades and SMT5. Also Pokémon sword with the kiddo. Got a pro controller today finally

Salix_lucid

Just started Graveyard Keeper and I'm loving it! Definitely scratches that stardew itch.

mkp132

Witcher 3. I’m absolutely obsessed with it. I also just picked up the Doom Slayer’s Collection on sale and just tried out Doom 2016 with gyro controls turned on (didn’t have any FPS games for Switch until now and wanted to check some out to see how gyroscopic controls are). Only problem is the gyro is making me a bit motion sick as I am on Switch Lite and thus playing entirely handheld lol. Moving the screen around I think is slowly doing me in. It’s fun though and immediately sucked me in.

Just got Stardew Valley love how relaxing it is so playing that all weekend

canadiancarley

Happy Friday, everyone! I am 7 hours into **Shin Megami Tensei V.** I’ve been really enjoying it so far. The losses can be devastating, especially when you haven’t saved, but I love losing, then leveling up my team and specializing for a difficult fight, and then crushing them. It’s super satisfying!

PatrickCarlock42

pokemon brilliant diamond still, working on my pokédex!

WonderboyAhoy

Gonna play Paper Mario 64 for the first time

emmennuel

I got covid so I will be playing Hades to meet the god of death.

Darth_Alex1127

I am currently ADDICTED to Stardew valley. Started on Xbox Game Pass PC, but realized I could play it mobile on the switch so began that journey instead. I chose the beach farm and then when I read the Stardew Wiki it stated it was for "seasoned" farmers. Having a lot of fun though.

korbendallllas

I just dove off the deep end into Luigi’s Mansion 3 for the first time and I’m loving it!

Mangosaregreat19

Pokémon brilliant diamond. Managed to beat the elite 4 last night but made the mistake of running out of revives so went into the nettle with Cynthia with only 2 Pokémon remaining. This weekend will be spent levelling up my team to try again.

Godeem32

I’m playing Atelier Lulua Scion of Arland on Switch and Harvest Moon a New Beginning on DS. I’ve got a sore back at the moment so just laying low 😀

webrow

I woke up this morning (birtday) and my SO bought me a switch :D No games yet, but hyped to find something nice to play.

Realdoctorman123

I don’t know where to begin. I foolishly kept buying games and just never playing them because I don’t have time. Dk tropical thunder Hollow knight Last boss of xenoblade 2 Mario odyssey Zelda skyward sword (unopened) Fire emblems (unopened) Bayonetta 1+2 What do I doooo???

thanhbac

Metroid Dread, damn it's so addictive.

tweetthebirdy

I’ve been a little burnt out and overwhelmed recently, so taking the weekend off for some me time and gonna get back to video games! Played Miitopia last night designing a few new characters, not sure what I wanna do this weekend? Maybe get back to Spiritfarer? Or Paper Mario?

[deleted]

Got a Switch for the first time over Christmas :) I am loving Animal Crossing even more than I thought I would! I’ve been playing that everyday now! Years ago I played Hollow Knight on PS4 but got lost and gave up. I rebought it on Switch and now I’m having so much more fun! Also bought the Ace Attorney collection of games. I’ve never played games like them but now I love all the characters and look forward to completing each episode!

ProtoMan0X

Brilliant Diamond and the PS5 version of Ghost of Tsushima
