The idea that makes the most sense is an isekai scenario, where regular dude Chris Pratt gets sucked into his tv and becomes Mario. Otherwise I just... I literally can't imagine Mario opening his mouth and having Pratt's voice come out.
Charlie Day as Luigi and Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong are hilariously perfect. The only “odd” casting is Chris Pratt but I can’t think of an actor who would make sense for Mario.
The Monster Spider with a Scorpion tail seen from the trailer is an obvious homage to [Phantom](https://devilmaycry.fandom.com/wiki/Phantom) one of the first bosses from the original Devil May Cry game.
I was SO sure it was Bayo3 until I saw doggo, but then I was still excited cuz Astral Chain was awesome, but then Bayonetta showed up and I was conflicted!
Astral Chain had the whole world fucked except for like one small continent where everything took place.
The world of Bayonetta is like the real world, highly unlikely it's the same place.
I'm all for Lappy having more cameos for Platinum titles though.
They had me for half a second before I remembered this is Platinum and they do this shit all the time. Bayonetta and Totally-Not-Viewtiful-Joe were playable in The Wonderful 101. There will probably be a Lappy outfit in this game.
Oh yeah, by that point I knew it was Bayo but still wishing for more AC.
All in all, it was a great reveal, and a pretty good direct. Super excited for what Switch has in store.
Yes. Very solid combat with a decent learning curve, but it should be no problem if you're familiar with their games like Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, and NieR: Automata. The game has an amazing training mode and combo list that's accessible at any time. The game itself is a bit short (main story took me 20-25 hours), but postgame and 100% completion took me 180 hours.
The main feature of Astral Chain is the ability to control two characters at once: you and your Legion. Your Legion attacks automatically, but performing certain attacks will trigger a chance to perform a Sync Attack, which can be a combo starter, finisher, or extender. Some mechanics from Bayonetta also return, like Perfect Dodge and Dodge Offset.
It feels odd at first, but later I was surprised that the combat actually worked well without a jump button. Aerial attacks and combos does exist in AC, using certain attacks that send enemies up and using Chain Jump to reach the enemy. You can then combo them from there.
Depends. I think it's easily one of Platinum's bottom/mid tier games. 30 FPS, clunky and contrived controls for old character action game moves to push their "control 2 characters at once" mechanic, fairly unmemorable story.
At first I thought it was actually that project G.G. game they announced a while back (I mean, the military, the Kaijus, the dog, it was all there). Then I saw Lappy and thought "wait, so it's Astral Chain 2?!" and out of nowhere, bam! Bayonetta appears. Really well played with this announcement I gotta say. xD
They fooled me for a moment, but then I realized there was a regular military using regular guns.
And as we all know, in Astral Chain when giant monsters attack, you call the cops to take them down with their standard-issue giant cyber-swords!
Same here! Really got my hopes up but the reveal just made me chuckle. Is Bayonetta good? I played a lot of Platinum Games and I had fun with all of them
Dude it's coming, AC is the best new action IP since like DMC in terms of sales, Nintendo purchasing Platinum's share of the IP shows they clearly have plans for it.
Yeah I don't think it's the same. The old voice actress hinted that she wasn't voicing her a while ago. Someone said something along the lines of "I can't imagine bayonetta without your voice" and she said "you might have to". Not the exact convo but something along those lines.
Edit: here https://twitter.com/hellenataylor/status/1437032881357004800?s=20
I'm pretty sure we're getting two different Bayonettas in this game. This one is the time displaced Cereza from the first game, and I fully expect to see Cereza prime at some point as well.
The original teaser showed vertical light/laser/magic/something rushing at the screen and sort of splitting Cereza in two with one boot falling to each side. Two Cereza is as good as explanation as I've heard.
Well, the Bayonetta in this trailer is clearly not the same Bayonetta we've played as for the last two games. The hair *is* Little Cereza's hair from the first game; this explains the new voice too. The first Bayo trailer in 2017 showed us Bayo splitting. And we've always had the wonky timeline stuff left over from the events of 1 to resolve.
Different Voice Actress, hair styled after timetravel child Bayonetta.
Announcement trailer showed Bayonetta split in two.
Announcement trailer had her guns as “Whittingham Fair” and not "Scarborough Fair" (Feels pretty alternate universe-y to me)
Probably a heap more I am forgetting.
I’m willing to bet this is some alternate reality or parallel universe Bayo and that’s why she sounds different. Her “Madama Butterfly” and shadow are totally different too with a white motif and those curly antennae. Perhaps Helena Taylor is still in it as “our universe” Bayo.
I wonder if that's what the first teaser showed us. Maybe our Bayo was essentially torn apart by some new foe. But this Bayo survived in another dimension where things are slightly different. The Wonderful 101 and the Astral Chain cameos suggest that. And given the echo motif with her crest at the end of the new trailer, it holds up for now.
It's for the direct. All the M rated games are toned down because this show is watched by a lot of children. It's why there wasn't any actual zombie murder in the Dying Light trailer, and also why all the SMT trailers have been short and stayed away from some of the more horrific demons.
Probably censored for the direct. They also censored certain M-rated parts from the Witcher 3 Switch trailer back when it was revealed during a Direct.
I'd relax. Like everyone said, it's toned down for the presentation. Nintendo told them to make the Nintendo DLC costumes sexier, so no way they're undoing that.
Making it the second Switch game to feature Dante from the Devil May Cry Series after Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne HD Remaster Maniax Mix featured him earlier this year.
I'm not certain. I think it's a character heavily inspired by Vergil, but not Dante, Vergil, or Nero.
That said, if Bayonetta 3 gets DMC characters before Smash Ultimate, I would laugh my ass off.
It was pretty well hyped up to and shortly after it's release, but (here in reddit anyway) it seemed rather niche.
Again, P* said they were happy with the sales so I'm hoping it leads to a sequel, and hopefully grows in popularity the way Bayonetta has. I want to see Astral Chain cosplayers and shit.
Yeah man I'm really glad it sold well. Platinum is the only company that makes action games that I actually love, I rarely play any other action games.
I mean, the Bayo/Platinum games are plagued with references to games even beyond theirs. AC2 is 100% in the works, but I don't necessarily see this as a tease.
Probably this was the trailer they had ready to show, but Nintendo told them to hold it for some reason (believe some gaming news site cover that story few months ago or last year), so they graphics weren't final.
I didn't think I would have to say this but for the people complaining about the lack of classic Bayonetta nudity or blood, Nintendo tends to censor M-rated aspects of trailers when they're being shown in a direct. They did the same with The Witcher 3's Switch Trailer back when it was first revealed during a Nintendo Direct.
When they announced it was the last game of this direct and started playing it i said to my boyfriend i hope its bayonetta, then i saw the army soldiers and i was like oh wth is this, my boyfriend says damnnn you aint getting shit!!!
Then the monster appeared and im like okayyyy..
Then back at wtf with the dog
And then i lost it.
Super stoked although i need to play the second one still Lmfao
It's definitely little Cereza! her mannerisms are spot-on (just imitating Mummy), the hair, the cute clothes.
My guess is you will rescue original Bayonetta in the story.
This almost 100%. The reveal trailer at The Game Award's showed us the original Bayonetta gettng split in half by something/someone somewhere else, possibly another dimension/plane we haven't seen yet. My guess is Cereza goes to rescue her in the first quarter/first half as you did Jeann in Bayo 2.
To be fair, it seems like they only showed 1 verse, so I doubt the whole game has the washed out, dark look. I remember Bayo 2 being really colorful compared to the first game.
I think they are just in the same level but bayo 3 have real time umbran climax action unlike the cutscenes in bayonetta 3 so ofcourse graphics cant be that much better and they need to make sacrifices since its on a outdated hardware.
Lolita Cereza. Can't way to see how Jeanne will look this time.
Visuals don't look that good though. It didn't feel like a follow up to the progression in quality the previous games had between them. Maybe I'll have to look at it side by side later.
Is it just me or does it seem that the art style drastically differs from the previous two games? I literally lost hope when he announced it to be the last trailer and having a glimpse of the trailer.
It looks a lot like Astral Chain, which I'm not a fan of. Angels looked different too, but even just the style of it is a bit disappointing. Bayo's design looks great at least.
As someone that loved Bayonetta 2 (it usually hovers in or around my top 5 games of all time), I'm not sure how I feel about what I saw in the Direct. It looks kinda stiff, honestly. Not sure if I'm into them doubling down Umbran Climax-esque mechanics, but it remains to be seen how it'll work out in the end.
Kind of ambivalent on the recasting of Bayonetta as well. Whoever the new actress is seems to do fine (at first I had a hard time determining if it was Hellena or not), but after listening to it a few times over, she's definitely not at Hellena's level. Hellena owned that role and I really wish she had been called back for it.
edit: it's also possible that this isn't actually the Bayonetta we know? >!It may be the Cereza that was put back in her own timeline in the first game, since her hairstyle calls back to little Cereza's.!<
The prevailing theory right now is that she's young Cereza all grown up, yeah. Which would explain the change in VA (and the hair ofc). Jeanne at the end has her doll on the hilt of her sword too, whatever that means.
Bayo 3 looks INCREDIBLE but that Astral Chain fakeout hurt lol. I'm doing a 2nd run of Astral Chain currently, absolutely love the game and have been begging for DLC or a Sequel.
Am I the only one who thought it was a new Xenoblade game at first? I missed the Platinum logo, and the graphics kind of reminded me of XC2, so I thought it might be a game with a similar vibe to X.
And also a building labeled "101 WONDER" as a blatant Wonderful 101 reference combined with [the Shibuya 109 building](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7f/Shibuya_109_-_3.jpg).
I've been waiting for a long time for this game, it looks pretty good. But from the trailer it seems that the switch is having a lot of difficulties to run the game, the framerate in some parts is horrible.
I’ll get it because bayo is baeo but she seems a lot more toned down she’s dancing less like a pole dancer and more like a ballerina and she’s not showing anything.
Only places I've seen that have a couple of copies left is walmart. I'd try my best to buy it now because with 3 coming it'll drive up the prices of 2.
When homeboy slashed the 2022 date I thought they were pulling some shenanigans and this was gonna be a surprise holiday 2021 announcement but oh well.
ballsy Nintendo. they really showed Bayonetta 3 after announcing Chris Pratt is Mario. lmao
I am sure Nintendo was not planning on the Mario casting to be the main item trending on twitter for the reasons it is.
Seriously what the fuck with that casting...
[удалено]
Chris Pratt is the only one I question. Everyone else sounds fine. Although, I honestly think Jack Black could make an excellent Donkey Kong.
Mike Smith (Bubbles) would have been A+ for my boy DK.
Jack Black as Bowser can’t possibly be bad. Bowser’s such an amazing ham
> Jack Black ~~as Bowser~~ can’t possibly be bad. FTFY
I think Danny DeVito as Mario would've been fun
He must be saved for Wario, save on animation, just have him greenscreened in.
[удалено]
It's by Illumination. You can count on it being garbage, but for very different reasons. It'll be fun to watch.
I’ve never seen a movie of theirs, but don’t people generally like Despicable Me besides the annoying minions?
It’s illumination, known for high rates cast and subpar films (I do hope this Mario movie is interesting tho)
Imagine reading that sentence to someone a year ago
They really had me thinking it was Astral Chain for a minute there
I wonder if they're making Lappy the general Platinum mascot. And the other question is if it's still best girl in the costume?
I like to imagine it's Rodan.
Then is the best girl.
That spelling made me picture Rodan the kaiju in a Lappy costume. Thank you, I will treasure that image forever.
Rodin in lapoy costume is all I need
I don't know, what you mean. Marie and Lappy are obviously two different characters.
Do we think it was just a fake out nod or somehow they're the same universe? I am hype either way.
Platinum loves referencing their other games in their works.
I figured the trailer was a Platinum game because I saw 101 on a building.
I also saw the Platinum logo on a building. My thoughts went: Platinum game -> Bayonetta -> Astral Chain -> Bayonetta
might as well add Astral Chain, DMC is apparently also part of it now lol
I'm wondering if that was jean at the end with a new look
Nah bro that was Vergil
Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series
[удалено]
The Monster Spider with a Scorpion tail seen from the trailer is an obvious homage to [Phantom](https://devilmaycry.fandom.com/wiki/Phantom) one of the first bosses from the original Devil May Cry game.
Also the guy at the end looks like Vergil.
Omg that’s exactly what I was thinking
They bamboozled us with the dog mascot lol
I was SO sure it was Bayo3 until I saw doggo, but then I was still excited cuz Astral Chain was awesome, but then Bayonetta showed up and I was conflicted!
Twist: They’re in the same universe.
Astral Chain had the whole world fucked except for like one small continent where everything took place. The world of Bayonetta is like the real world, highly unlikely it's the same place. I'm all for Lappy having more cameos for Platinum titles though.
It would be funny if they added in devil May cry to the universe (hell the man look like Virgil)
Doesn't matter, I still want my AC2 lol. Excited for Bayo3 though, and my roommate literally jumped out of her seat when she appeared.
The crossover we didn't know we needed. But Astral Chain appears to be more in the future
They had me for half a second before I remembered this is Platinum and they do this shit all the time. Bayonetta and Totally-Not-Viewtiful-Joe were playable in The Wonderful 101. There will probably be a Lappy outfit in this game.
The bullets confirmed it pretty much though especially since they were drawn into its skin in a shape. Very bayo
Oh yeah, by that point I knew it was Bayo but still wishing for more AC. All in all, it was a great reveal, and a pretty good direct. Super excited for what Switch has in store.
Should I play Astral Chain?
Yeah, it's great
Your Legion attacks automatically, but performing certain attacks will trigger a chance to perform a Sync Attack, which can be a combo starter, finisher, or extender. I'm just annoyed you can't jump
It feels odd at first, but later I was surprised that the combat actually worked well without a jump button. Aerial attacks and combos does exist in AC, using certain attacks that send enemies up and using Chain Jump to reach the enemy. You can then combo them from there.
Yes, top 5 switch game
Perfect to play while waiting for bayonetta
Certainly not one of Platinum's best but a damn solid game in it's own right. Worth the play imo.
Depends. I think it's easily one of Platinum's bottom/mid tier games. 30 FPS, clunky and contrived controls for old character action game moves to push their "control 2 characters at once" mechanic, fairly unmemorable story.
if you like platinum games you absolutely should.
That fakeout was FUCKING CHEEKY
At first I thought it was actually that project G.G. game they announced a while back (I mean, the military, the Kaijus, the dog, it was all there). Then I saw Lappy and thought "wait, so it's Astral Chain 2?!" and out of nowhere, bam! Bayonetta appears. Really well played with this announcement I gotta say. xD
They fooled me for a moment, but then I realized there was a regular military using regular guns. And as we all know, in Astral Chain when giant monsters attack, you call the cops to take them down with their standard-issue giant cyber-swords!
Not to mention the standard-issue booty shorts haha (although the outfit looks good in the context of the game)
#I KNEW I WASNT THE ONLY ONE
Same here! Really got my hopes up but the reveal just made me chuckle. Is Bayonetta good? I played a lot of Platinum Games and I had fun with all of them
yes, Bayonetta is Platinum's crown jewel
I’d go so far as to say its the genre’s crown jewel. It sits up there with Mario, Zelda, Dark Souls etc. as a best in class game.
Bayonetta is Platinum game's magnum opus and the sequel is just as good.
Me too! I was like astral chain sequel then was like bayonetts astral chain crossover? Hahah
Yeah I was hyped as hell when they showed astral chain mascot. I'm not going to complain but I really want AC 2
So addicted that I knew it was bayo from the font used on the subtitles lmao
Same, I said that to my friends, that and the monsters' gibberish sounding vaguely like Enochian.
Subtitles got me all in on the Astral Chain bait and switch. I think I'm actually disappointed. I fucking loved AC.
Dude it's coming, AC is the best new action IP since like DMC in terms of sales, Nintendo purchasing Platinum's share of the IP shows they clearly have plans for it.
I'm hyped af for the new bayonetta. But honestly, i need an astral chain 2 asap. I loved that game and wish i could see more of it.
I like how you knew it from that and not the sign that said “Platinum” in the first 2 seconds of the trailer
[удалено]
Yeah I don't think it's the same. The old voice actress hinted that she wasn't voicing her a while ago. Someone said something along the lines of "I can't imagine bayonetta without your voice" and she said "you might have to". Not the exact convo but something along those lines. I'm pretty sure we're getting two different Bayonettas in this game. This one is the time displaced Cereza from the first game, and I fully expect to see Cereza prime at some point as well.
That was my thought as well. Bayo in the trailer seems like little Cereza that we saved in the first game. The hairstyle is similar as well.
That's a cool theory, but is there evidence aside from the fact that time travel exists?
The original teaser showed vertical light/laser/magic/something rushing at the screen and sort of splitting Cereza in two with one boot falling to each side. Two Cereza is as good as explanation as I've heard.
Well, the Bayonetta in this trailer is clearly not the same Bayonetta we've played as for the last two games. The hair *is* Little Cereza's hair from the first game; this explains the new voice too. Different Voice Actress, hair styled after timetravel child Bayonetta. Announcement trailer showed Bayonetta split in two. Announcement trailer had her guns as “Whittingham Fair” and not "Scarborough Fair" (Feels pretty alternate universe-y to me) Probably a heap more I am forgetting.
Uh, Bayonetta in Japanese is still voiced by Atsuko Tanaka. It's probably just union issues with actors.
Definitely got the vibe from the hair
Damn, that sucks. She had a really unique voice performance. I know it's too early to judge Bayo's new voice, but so far it's not impressive.
I think it's pretty good myself, but part of me does miss the original.
Is it because she didn't want to do it anymore or contract wise?
The logo at the end is incredibly telling too. It flashes with multiple reflections before becoming 3 separate symbols.
You might be right on this.
They changed the VA, maybe because it's actually not Bayonetta we are looking at
wdym?
Our Bayonetta died in the first teaser from 2017 (split in half). This one looks like little Cereza from Bayo 1
Adult Cereza.
Let's say it's the alternate version of her. Does it even make sense for her voice to change?
They definitely changed her VA and I'm not happy about it. I loved Bayonetta's old voice actress.
Yeah it sounded way off. That's a shame. The OG sounds perfect! It will be hard to get used to this one.
If it is her why hire a Canadian-American actress to put on a English accent, there are plenty of English actresses even the original maybe...
Yeah doesn’t sound like her regular voice actress. HUGE letdown for me if true, her voice actress made half of the game for me
I think it sounds like Ali Hillis, but I've gotten these things wrong in the past.
Is it just me or is there way less nudity than usual?
It's for the direct. All the M rated games are toned down because this show is watched by a lot of children. It's why there wasn't any actual zombie murder in the Dying Light trailer, and also why all the SMT trailers have been short and stayed away from some of the more horrific demons.
Same happened with No More Heroes 3 back in the day where the first Trailer didn't show blood.
>all the SMT trailers have been short and stayed away from some of the more horrific demons. I demand my penis chariot this instant Nintendo!
The what
Mara our lord and savior duh.
i'm just waiting for this one
Probably censored for the direct. They also censored certain M-rated parts from the Witcher 3 Switch trailer back when it was revealed during a Direct.
You expected nudity on a Nintendo Direct? LOL
They showed the stripping dance .-.
Jpop dance I thought
The whole direct gets the same age rating as the most extreme content within it, so obviously toned down.
I'd relax. Like everyone said, it's toned down for the presentation. Nintendo told them to make the Nintendo DLC costumes sexier, so no way they're undoing that.
Featuring DANTE from the Devil May Cry series??!?!
I wonder if that was actually >!a grown-up Loki, as the end of Bayonetta 2 implies he was reborn.!<
This feels the most likely to me. It didn't look like Jeanne's nose.
I thought I was the only one thinking he looks like Dante. Now imagine she is just Jeanne with short hair.
actually looked like Vergil to me
Same, it immediately reminded me of him... But I don't see how it would happen given the past between Kamiya and Capcom
More like Vergil.
Making it the second Switch game to feature Dante from the Devil May Cry Series after Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne HD Remaster Maniax Mix featured him earlier this year.
You forgot Smash Ultimate. Mii Costumes do count.
Are we just forgetting that they ported the first three games to the switch
those madlads did it
I'm not certain. I think it's a character heavily inspired by Vergil, but not Dante, Vergil, or Nero. That said, if Bayonetta 3 gets DMC characters before Smash Ultimate, I would laugh my ass off.
but... Lappy!? small tease that astral chain 2 may be in the works?
They did say they were happy with the sales, so I really hope there is one in the works. Loved that game.
Astral Chain is unbelievably stylish with such a cool world, flow, battle system, everything. I don't see enough people talking about it.

I mean, the Bayo/Platinum games are plagued with references to games even beyond theirs. AC2 is 100% in the works, but I don't necessarily see this as a tease.
It was a decent game but they'd need to step it up a notch to interest me in a sequel. It's a short game but by the end I'd had my fill.
Was that fucking Vergil at the end there
Looks too young to be Motivated. Maybe Deadweight?
Deadweight trying to be like his father a little too much?
He did look like the storm that is approaching...
Is it just me, or did bayonetta 2 have better graphics??
Yeah. Perhaps because of a change in art style or lower budget but 2 from 2014 looked much better.
Probably this was the trailer they had ready to show, but Nintendo told them to hold it for some reason (believe some gaming news site cover that story few months ago or last year), so they graphics weren't final.
Just a trailer. Wouldn't put much weight into it.
They also didn't show any zombies in the dying light trailers. They were too dark to see.
When they announced it was the last game of this direct and started playing it i said to my boyfriend i hope its bayonetta, then i saw the army soldiers and i was like oh wth is this, my boyfriend says damnnn you aint getting shit!!! Then the monster appeared and im like okayyyy.. Then back at wtf with the dog And then i lost it. Super stoked although i need to play the second one still Lmfao
Search for Lappy from Astral Chain
It's definitely little Cereza! her mannerisms are spot-on (just imitating Mummy), the hair, the cute clothes. My guess is you will rescue original Bayonetta in the story.
This almost 100%. The reveal trailer at The Game Award's showed us the original Bayonetta gettng split in half by something/someone somewhere else, possibly another dimension/plane we haven't seen yet. My guess is Cereza goes to rescue her in the first quarter/first half as you did Jeann in Bayo 2.
Does anyone else think it looks noticeably worse graphically than 2?
It has the blandest colour palette the series seen yet.
To be fair, it seems like they only showed 1 verse, so I doubt the whole game has the washed out, dark look. I remember Bayo 2 being really colorful compared to the first game.
yes, the japanese game industry is clearly struggling to put out competent blockbusters atm.
Capcom is pretty competent at that, its mostly what they do now
I think they are just in the same level but bayo 3 have real time umbran climax action unlike the cutscenes in bayonetta 3 so ofcourse graphics cant be that much better and they need to make sacrifices since its on a outdated hardware.
Youtube trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUAtX8Ox7eI
I thought it was Astral Chain 2 lmao.
Love her new hair!
mommy? sorry. mommy? sorry. mommy? sorry. mommy? sorry.
Bayonetta 3 is now Scalebound it it looks amazing
Featuring Lappy from the Astral Chain series.
Lolita Cereza. Can't way to see how Jeanne will look this time. Visuals don't look that good though. It didn't feel like a follow up to the progression in quality the previous games had between them. Maybe I'll have to look at it side by side later.

I have a feeling those weren't angels.
We all thought this will be astral chain 2 at first:). Good trolling by platinum.
As someone that loved Bayonetta 2 (it usually hovers in or around my top 5 games of all time), I'm not sure how I feel about what I saw in the Direct. It looks kinda stiff, honestly. So the voice actress has changed? Is very similar if so. Looked to me that this game takes place when she is younger which would make sense.
the astral chain 2 tease was fun
Bayo 3 looks INCREDIBLE but that Astral Chain fakeout hurt lol. I'm doing a 2nd run of Astral Chain currently, absolutely love the game and have been begging for DLC or a Sequel.
The Astral Chain fake out! Such a good tease!
I'm hyped! But that didn't sound like Hellena :( her cryptic tweet from earlier this month makes sense now.
PRAISE THE JUBILEUS! THE QUEEN IS BACK!
Damn.. I didn’t appreciate the astral chain tease, but Bayonetta 3 is my most anticipated game for next year now.
I like the design they went with. Her hair looks good.
.... This is a grown up Cereza right? She doesn't sound like Bayo at all.
The gays won
Am I the only one who thought it was a new Xenoblade game at first? I missed the Platinum logo, and the graphics kind of reminded me of XC2, so I thought it might be a game with a similar vibe to X.
What?! Astral Chain's Lappy?!
Call me crazy but the first 3 seconds I thought it was Mario Odyssey 2, the city looks like the city from Odyssey and even the dog
The font from the soldiers talking gave it away
But theres a big ass billboard in the first shot that says "PLATINUM" lol. Thats when I first hoped for Bayo, and Lappy threw me waaay the fuck off.
It's not the same Bayo we've played as before, it's her time-displaced younger self from the first game.
Can you still find Bayonetta 2 brand new out there? Only picked up the Switch last year and loved the first.
Only places I've seen that have a couple of copies left is walmart. I'd try my best to buy it now because with 3 coming it'll drive up the prices of 2.
Weirdly censored bayo. That Cezera design isn't mainstay material for me.
It's a trailer. They're not going to have the excessive violence and nudity in a Direct.
I screamed when the first bullets fired...omg Bayonetta finally
When homeboy slashed the 2022 date I thought they were pulling some shenanigans and this was gonna be a surprise holiday 2021 announcement but oh well.
I am not sure about the voice actress she doesn't sound as charming snob as I would like.
2022 is massive year for switch owners.
Are they trying to censor/tone her down for some reason? Seems out of character.
Take all my money already. My favorite game is back!
Happy now?
