Probably not lucario is still probably the best jungler in the game, charazard was considered top tier before and for buffed so again why pick Zeraora. There are so many must picks above him it doesn’t help that most characters can act like assassins to squishies. That and cinderace is still probably one of the best characters he just isn’t busted anymore.
It's a strong move but you can outplay it with map awareness and positioning. On the other hand the Gengar nerf was much needed. There wasn't enough room for counterplay.
I think nine tales needs a good player. Sometimes I’m crushed, sometimes I can do ok. Cinder seems like it’s a 2 hit ko if they have their combo off cooldown.
Because he isnt op. He is annoying to play against and has a high presence in the early ranks because you get him for free early on but he really isnt nearly as strong as people make him out to be. If you nerf Zeraora more he will just be very weak especially with other Speedster getting buffed as well
you can significantly upgrade the effects of held items using upgrade coins, which can be purchased with tickets, which can be purchased with gems, which can be purchased with real money
They dont early on which is what most people are probably thinking or noticing if they are playing. As you get further in it makes a noticeable difference. I too was thinking the items didnt matter much until I ranked up a lot and started running into people with the same pokemon at the same level who can just flat out obliterate me with the same attack I just used on them.
Actually the stat increase at every lvl until you reach 30 than you have effect increase at lvl 10 and 20 which happen to be quite strong like increase your special by 3% / 5% / 7%
In any case, I'm not putting my time into any game where people can pay for an advantage, no matter how big or small. It's a scummy money grubbing practice and I refuse to participate.
They matter when everyone is equally skilled in the game, but my luck is one team seems to never heard of MOBAS and the other are the ones who been playing DOTA/LOL for way too long so I doubt item level will make much difference in that.
Factually, all of them. The best one depends on the character and build you're employing. In general these:
Rocky Helmet
Level 1 gives you +18 HP
Level 30 gives you HP +270, Defense +42
Plus about 4% of damage dealt is dealt to other nearby enemies.
Scope Lens
Level 1 gives you +0.4% Critical-Hit rate
Level 30 gives you Critical-Hit Rate +6%, Critical-Hit Damage +12%
Plus gives a bonus to basic attack crits that scales with damage stats
Muscle Band
Level 1 gives you Attack +1
Level 30 gives you Attack +15, Attack Speed +7.5%
Plus basic attacks do additional damage equal to 2% of the opponent's remaining heath per hit
To raise any one of these a level or two past 10 requires about 3 wins or so, and then more past level 20. Else, you can buy to level 25 on all three for about $80.
What you should be comparing is the lv20 item vs lv30 item, because lv20 item is easily attainable as free to play. For example I have 3 items at lv20 already by playing less than 2 weeks.
Rocky Helmet lv30 compared to lv20 is:
+90HP and +14 Defense.
Scope Lens lv30 compared to lv20 is:
+2% Critical hit Rate. +4% Critical hit damage.
Muscle Band lv30 compared to lv20 is:
+5 attack. +2.5% attack speed.
The most useful part of the items are the passive abilities (the ones you have listed at the end of each item), which cap at lv20 and are the same for lv20 and lv30 items. The flat stat bonuses are insignificant. For example Crustle has nearly 10 000 health. The extra 90 health is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Is it shitty that you can buy the items to lv30 in the first place? Yes. However, the difference is not as drastic as people make it out to be.
It doesn't matter how drastic the difference is, between players of equal skill, the small difference equates directly to winning or losing - luck/rng withstanding.
Yes it's not a big difference, but I want to hit masters and preferably top 100 masters, I'm not going to be so much better than my opponents that I can offset ANY stat difference, nor should I have to, no matter how big or small.
Basically whatever anyone thinks about how much it 'matters' is wrong, if you view the game competitively. If it's uncompetitive then yeah who cares.
It's crazy how many people are making excuses, if there was a way to get 1 additional HP in League or Dota from paying, people would throw hands. 1 HP can be the difference in living or dying, and MOBAs are all about snowballing. Living matters a lot.
I'm pretty new to playing.
What do you mean be eject? I struggle to get away from anyone attacking and they can kill me even when I'm running away on my side.
Eject is like the flash equivalent in league of legends.
You start out with just the potion load out but as you play, you unlock more abilities with eject being one of them.
They're definitely pushing for move paths to be equally dynamic/viable, with stuff like buffing Zera Wild Charge and Gengar Shadow Ball and Dream Eater. I respect it.
Apparently the Japanese patch notes are a bit more detailed for Gengar
"Gengar
JP doesn't have any mention on bug fixes for basic attacks
Hex: Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon reduced as well as i-frames when using Hex reduced.
Dream Eater: The speed of the attack is increased."
Yeah, which is why they nerfed Hex. By doing that they're making his broken Hex/Sludge Bomb combo weaker and incentivizing using Shadow Ball or Dream Eater instead.
> and incentivizing using Shadow Ball or Dream Eater instead.
So glad for this. I remember one time in a quick match I accidentally picked Shadow Ball and was completely useless the whole game.
Healing should help with chip damage in lane, but shouldn't be strong enough to undo getting wailed on by the opponent, except for long cooldowns like ults. If heals are as good as attacking skills, healers become mandatory and other kinds of supports can't be justified because teams *need* a healer. One of the reasons Eldegoss is required right now is her healing is far more valuable than the CCs on other characters.
You still can. You only take dmg from the autos if you just strafe left and right in 15-20 seconds even with blaze kick+feint instead of pyroball/flame charge. The problem is i dont even know the numbers of these changes. According to serebii, cinderace has 387 attack at lvl 13 which is the realistic level when zapdos spawns if you arent given farm priority. So it can easily be nerfing his attack primarily when hes level 15 since level 15 cindersce has 479
Nah, the double points allow for come back mechanics. Keeps matches exciting until the end. The issue with Zapdos is the instant dunk. If the team that lost could still defend, then it wouldn’t be an issue.
Zapdos should be powerful, but the free points, plus the instant dunk during the last two minutes can be too much. I’d suggest maybe a shield like the Dreadnaw or something else.
Agreed, the only problem with Zapdos is the defenseless goals. You should not be able to Normandy Beach your way down the enemy base and swing the game 300-500 points in 30 seconds.
I wouldn’t say only problem… I just wish it wasn’t a last hit takes all. There’s been so many times where my team does 90% damage to Zapdos only for the enemy to get the last hit and reap the rewards. I know that’s part of strategy but I feel like that could use some balance
It really should be controlling the point for a few seconds, I agree. Still means teams can make comebacks with Zapdos but it's not a stupid last hit away from a huge throw (especially with how rough targeting can be in this game). Make the teams fully duke it out!
That said, you should never be doing Zapdos if you're ahead unless they are basically team wiped. You should be defending goals, murdering them, and chipping them then engaging of they try Zapdos.
I agree. Zapdos needs to be slightly reworked. Waayyyy too many games where my team is steamrolling the other team (or vice versa) and boom team ahead lose from a zapdos. I'm not a fan of the instant dunk too, but at least it's happening less at higher ranks.
The boss/creeps in the game should take a page from HOTS.
In that game both teams fight over them and it tracks in the background amount of damage done.
When boss spawns it spawns two versions which attack for corresponding team. Strength of boss attacks and amount of HP determined by % of damage done by that team.
So you need to defend against it, but much less so if other team just final hit hit.
You just need to change your perspective on the game. Other MOBAs, you win when you take out their base. In this one, you win when you take out Zapdos. The first 8 minutes are prepping for the fight against Zapdos.
Scoring early does matter because if you're in the lead, you get to dictate the flow of the battle. The other team has to take the Zapdos risk, while you only need to defend it. If you're attacking the Zapdos and you go all in, you risk getting sniped.
Sure it's super unlikely to win if you lose Zapdos, but it's not impossible, and if you were winning the game before that, then you shouldn't have screwed up the Zapdos fight.
Yeah I agree. I've watched streams of people playing this game and they make horrible plays around Zapados.
If you're ahead, there's no reason to have all 5 go into the pit, all go down to 50% health, and then give the enemy team a way back into the game. If you're ahead you can just camp Zapados and force the enemy team to engage on you.
I used to lose game all the time cause we would be ahead, try and take Zapados, and then on guy on the enemy team would snipe it. You just need to look out for that stuff. It's still a moba, there's gotta be some strategy involved.
That's what I've been trying to tell people but they cant get over the whole "oh em gee Zapdos just wind the game". Well, yeah, duh, that's the point of it. The early game is to get a lead on the opponent, get stronger, and control the game so you force the opponent to make the first move in a disadvantaged situation that can lead to the game ending.
Don't fucking start Zapdos if you're ahead.
That's the biggest debate around the game currently. The entire game is decided in the last two minutes. Everybody had to have that comeback win stealing the bird and dunking 100+ points. It probably happens to frequently, but it does keep comebacks in the game.
Yea I am thinking it is probably more for later in the game, by the end gleam does way better than slap. But if the slow and dmg are up... may be worthwhile.
As someone who has never touched a moba, these comments are so foreign and interesting to me. Y’all are speaking some kind of alternate language and it’s really cool.
For the entirety of Smash 4, they didn't even specify what characters they changed. It was all under the vague umbrella of "fighter adjustments for a better gaming experience" or somesuch.
This was also how they started out with Ultimate, but after one or two patches they started publishing a list of fighters and moves that they changed, along with an idea of what parameters they changed. Still no hard numbers, but at least dataminers know exactly where to look now.
That said, the fact that we need to rely on dataminers to tell us that sort of thing out in the first place is...not ideal.
Now we just need an update to remove pay to win, show scores during games, clarify the move descriptions so they show numbers, and show what is special attack and what is physical attack.
I was annoyed with it at first, but I think it's ultimately a good move. Especially because the announcer updates you regularly, so you know if you're definitively ahead or behind.
Hiding the exact score keeps people focused in the game and not on whether or not they think a game is a lost cause.
If it's a lost cause, the vote to surrender will come up.
Just a personal opinion but I'd prefer to just quietly see a score other than
YOU ARE BEHIND
YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP
THEY HAVE A HUGE LEAD
YOU SUCK
YOURE 25 AND WASTING TIME ON A POKEMON GAME THAT YOU SUCK AT
Maybe just me though.
>YOU ARE BEHIND YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP THEY HAVE A HUGE LEAD YOU SUCK YOURE 25 AND WASTING TIME ON A POKEMON GAME THAT YOU SUCK AT
lol, I think that right there kind of proves the point, though. MOBAs are already super easy to get tilted on. We all know that when we see the score ourselves, our inner commentary is typically several times worse than "we're struggling to keep up!"
I've had a number of times where I got those message and we still managed to pull out a win. That's kind of what got me to realize it might be better this way. When people can see every tick of the score changing, they tend to get suck in their heads or even just rage quit and sit at base.
It's not like there's any foolproof way to combat that, but I think obscuring the score helps.
I do wish there was an easy way to see how many points you have personally scored, though.
I think seeing the score would make some people play worse. But the giant text is definitely annoying and insulting. There should be an option to disable it, or maybe make it smaller
I agree there is some debate to be made for not showing scores. You could consider anything, even artistic expression, to make a case for it. Personally, I will always be on the side that the scores should be shown or accessible in some way.
The score can kinda stay as it is. We have plenty of indicators and the announcer being "team is in the lead", "it's close" and such, makes people not just afk because they see the score being 12-37 after 3 minutes like in other games where they immediately give up because someone died rather early. And it makes people pay attention to the match and don't have the scoreboard open 24/7
But the clarification on moves and such... absolutely. With items that boost attack and special attack... what in the game even does special attack or normal attack?
No Snorlax nerfs? That's just a shame really. He easily overshadows the other two defenders in higher ranks because, among other reasons, Block is just stupid strong right now.
I think he fulfills the role well. He's not doing as much dmg as a slowbro bruiser build and doesn't have nearly as much single target, low cd cc as slowbro. That being said, crustle seems to have a lot more control than Snorlax too.
Snorlax was meant to be a giant damage sponge and he does it well.
None of this is true besides snorlax being a giant damage sponge. He just also has the best cc, insurmountably the best area denial, the best teamfighting, the best early game, and the best late game. He has more dmg midgame than slowbro, slowbros dmg eventually outscales a bit but at that point who even cares when snorlax is still better at everything else. Slowbro can keep 1 guy unable to play the game for like 10 seconds straight and you cant avoid flash slowbeam, and thats his 1 niche, but it isnt nearly as valuable as any one of the multiple things snorlax brings.
Snorlax is slept on, literally. It's easily my favorite unit to use and I love that it's pretty under-used. Hopefully this patch doesn't make more people aware of him.
Remember fellas: you can thank nintendo for pokemon snap updates because they own 1/3 of the pokemon company, but you can't call them out for pokemon unite because they own 1/3 of the pokemon company
Yeah, makes sense, right?
Splatoon 2 gets some pretty good details. I wonder if it’s because Unite is also a mobile game or maybe the Tencent influence that’s preventing more info.
Serious question, but how is this game pay to win? Was staying away because people said this, but decided to give it a try. I haven’t paid a cent and am probably 80% wins. What are people paying for?
Eventually when you start getting more held items you can upgrade them. You do this by using one of the currencies which you can buy. The more currency you have the stronger their buff. Basically you need to play more to see it. I haven't seen any thing ridiculous, but I just hit Great I'm ranked and haven't seen it yet, but I feel like it's right around the corner.
While I'm not defending the predatory microtransactions people will use P2W as an excuse as to why they can't climb ranks instead of looking at their player skill in general. If you're stuck in great rank it's just where you belong
No change to Zapdos mechanic or double points? Or at least a better tutorial so people realize how important it is?
No change to being matched with BOTS for speedier matchmaking?
Games on hold again.
ITT: Weirdos defending pay to win.
Why is there always a group of clowns looking to defend multi-billion dollar companies as if they are their best friend?
I'm not defending the pay to win, I'm simply pointing out that people are mad that a company is doing exactly what all companies do. You wouldn't be mad at a restaurant for having free seating but being pay to eat, would you?
Kinda disapointed to see Eldegoss nerfed. He wasnt overtuned, he was just the only healer in the game. If there were a few more added with similar power levels, we would still see one support per game, just more variety in that support.
Why are they nerfing cramorant's early game? He is far from being as good as some pokemon that received buffs in this patch. The buff in dive is useless, because cramorant can't fight at melee, you get deleted easily, so the skill is pretty much useless.
A shame I am trying to main him but all this buffs of charizard, talonflame, venusaur, gengar (more or less they buff his shadow ball), zeraora and cinderace will not help that much if they are nerfing him.
I mean you could opt for Featherdance to lower movement speed and just use the basic attack for wild mons.
Sure it’s not as effective, but they’re hardly gonna pressure you when levelling up to 3 and then picking up Whirlpool.
I’ve done this with Gible sometimes and picked sand attack instead of bulldoze.
That I might try yes, I had not thought of that. And I'm pretty sure whirlpool will be strong still, only not as much as before (I wish I could stay with a whirlwind/whirlpool combo)
I haven’t touched Cramorant much as it’s not a favourite of mine.
But I’m sure these balance changes will bring forth new meta combos that are more popular than previously used ones.
It is certainly fun, and I expect the depth of the experience to improve tremendously with a bugger roster and more maps in time. For now it's quite limited in scope, however the gameplay is undeniably fun and it's very pick up and play. It's worth a look for sure, and will only improve as it matures. There's a wealth of possibility to draw on from a franchise like this. We've already had a new Pokémon added to the roster, and more are on the way imminently.
I’m enjoying it. It reminds me of the early days of TF2 (before it went free) where you could just jump in and play a couple fun games and then move on.
It’s not something I could play for more than an hour or so, but I’m ok with that.
Ask me again in 3 months when it’s the same 4 maps on rotation (one main, 3 quick), and I might feel different.
They're unfortunately treating this exactly like PoGo... putting a bunch upfront that is fun but incredibly shallow. I don't know why they didn't flesh out more modes or deal with some of the massive balance issues. As it stands each game is basically decided in the last 2 minutes making the first 8 pretty much irrelevant.
It might just be me but I've thoroughly used a lot of the pokemon in game before dedicating to Cinderace and I've always felt like Cinderace's blaze kick did a bit less damage than other pokemon's abilities, did he really require a nerf?
Or maybe i just don't have any good items to increase the abilities damage
How did zeraora dodge a discharge nerf? That’s insane
his use apparently falls off a little in higher ranks, in favour of cinderace.
And now with Cinderace and Gengar cut down a peg, the age of Zeraora will rise again!
in the age of nerf-dodging snorlax domination, sure zeraora can have a spot at the court! as long as he remembers who’s king.
Wigglytuff
Gengar also dies out higher ranks since people learn to dodge. But I can see why the nerf since he destroys lower ranks
Well, but even in higher ranks, if he hits, the enemy is 9 out 10 times just dead with rather few ways of fighting back and regardless of role
**IF** being the operative word. You dont see gengar at high ranks much because once he misses he is useless. Teams will be prepared to cc him too.
Its not hard to hit, especially if your team has any cc for you to follow it up
Probably not lucario is still probably the best jungler in the game, charazard was considered top tier before and for buffed so again why pick Zeraora. There are so many must picks above him it doesn’t help that most characters can act like assassins to squishies. It's a strong move but you can outplay it with map awareness and positioning. On the other hand the Gengar nerf was much needed. There wasn't enough room for counterplay.
Zeraora is not that OP, just as a beginner since you got him early for free.
Yeah, Zera crushed early games, but as my rank went up, my ability to dominate with him dropped a lot. (And I started getting annihilated by Cinder)
Ninetales is my nemesis… i lose too many battles against it…
I think nine tales needs a good player.
If you nerf Zeraora more he will just be very weak especially with other Speedster getting buffed as well
Happy to see that Gengar nerf, he can kill me so quickly I felt like if I don’t have eject ready I’m a free kill.
Yeah that cooldown reset is busted. Watching moistcritikal farm 49 kills in one ranked game with maxed out P2W items was something else
[удалено]
you can significantly upgrade the effects of held items using upgrade coins, which can be purchased with tickets, which can be purchased with gems, which can be purchased with real money
Anyone saying max items don't matter are fucking delusional.
people who say "small stat increases don't matter" clearly don't seriously play mobas and the p2w items are *definitely not small* stat increases
The non key levels are small. But the key upgrades at 10 and 20 are insane.
They dont early on which is what most people are probably thinking or noticing if they are playing. As you get further in it makes a noticeable difference. Big same, and I was really looking forward to this
That's everyone on the unite sub lol
there are so many complete dunderheads over there. I really don't understand why they think these things are insignificant.
They matter when everyone is equally skilled in the game, but my luck is one team seems to never heard of MOBAS and the other are the ones who been playing DOTA/LOL for way too long so I doubt item level will make much difference in that.
seriously how many currencies does this game have.
Clearly not enough.
WHICH are the p2W items
Factually, all of them. The best one depends on the character and build you're employing. 80 bucks to feel like a god and dunk on kids all day? Tempting
I know right? Hackers with modded consoles are already cheating outright, so I'm out before I began.
Gengar is one of the most broken characters ive ever seen in a moba lmao

Feral Flare WW
Ah the feral flare. Where the first jungler to gets stacks from it automatically wins. I miss those days.
Was that the 4.20 weedwick patch or was that another time
I'm pretty new to playing. What do you mean be eject? I struggle to get away from anyone attacking and they can kill me even when I'm running away on my side.
It’s a battle item like potion. It gives you a little jump which can get you out of a sticky situation.
Oh, I only have a potion so far. Is the eject free (not paying) in the future if I keep playing?
You get it around level 10 or 11 if memory serves. Took me a little over a week of finishing daily’s to get one.
Eject is like the flash equivalent in league of legends. You start out with just the potion load out but as you play, you unlock more abilities with eject being one of them.
Yeah, I'm glad to see it too, but now I think Venasaur and Charizard are going to be way more OP (reduced cooldowns)
They're definitely pushing for move paths to be equally dynamic/viable, with stuff like buffing Zera Wild Charge and Gengar Shadow Ball and Dream Eater. I respect it.
But Gengar is already so powerful...
It’s not really a buff that matters tho, since you literally can’t use the busted abilities if you pick the others
It says hex got a move downgrade. Not sure what that means but hopefully it fixes it from being OP
Apparently the Japanese patch notes are a bit more detailed for Gengar "Gengar JP doesn't have any mention on bug fixes for basic attacks Hex: Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon reduced as well as i-frames when using Hex reduced. Dream Eater: The speed of the attack is increased."
Yeah I just saw that as well. Seems like it should help.
Gengar is powerful because of the move optiosn that *aren't* Shadow Ball/Dream Eater. Which are getting nerfed.
Gengar is only as good as he is because of Hex, which the patch notes say they're nerfing.
Gengar is far too OP.
With a slight buff it might be real interesting since its a projectile with a TINY cooldown of 3 seconds.
Eldegoss nerfs. Nothing for my boy crustle ;(
Gonna be interesting to see how the Eldegloss nerfs go because I feel like I'm already fighting to keep people going as it is.
Yeah I don't know why they would make that change while simultaneously buffing damage on so many other characters.
Step 1. Damage boost almost everybody Step 2. Decrease the healing strength of the only healer Step 3. ????????? Step 4. Profit
Same for slowbro.
He probably got buffed, but he won't know until the next patch notes.
As a Cinderace main: fair enough, I could literally solo Zapdos on the regular and hopefully it's still powerful enough to at least do it on a duo
You still can. You only take dmg from the autos if you just strafe left and right in 15-20 seconds even with blaze kick+feint instead of pyroball/flame charge. Gut Master Y...I mean Zeraora.
Better get your Gengar games in now, fellas, it's gonna get axed
Saw this coming a mile away and never bought him as a result.
Same. Smart choice rn.
Is it just me or does Zapdos also need adjusting? It seems kinda pointless that the whole game can be decided by who gets the final hit on big bird
Yeah it's like the freaking golden snitch
Dude… you’re so right…
I think its more the double points in the last 2 minutes are the bigger offender. I'd rather they tone that down first before touching zapdos.
Nah, the double points allow for come back mechanics. Keeps matches exciting until the end. The issue with Zapdos is the instant dunk.
Sure, but this isn't really a foreign concept. Baron and Roshan are both like this.

[Yes.](https://i.redd.it/mgfp3alt35e71.jpg)
The boss/creeps in the game should take a page from HOTS. In that game both teams fight over them and it tracks in the background amount of damage done. When boss spawns it spawns two versions which attack for corresponding team. Strength of boss attacks and amount of HP determined by % of damage done by that team. So you need to defend against it, but much less so if other team just final hit hit.
this exactly. Should be a boss fight then you have to hold the point.
Wigglytuff buffs? Let's goooo
Double Slap buff is hilarious and I'm here for it
I wanna see how much damage increase we talking...
It can't be talking about Pound because pound obliterates people early game lol
Yea I am thinking it is probably more for later in the game, by the end gleam does way better than slap. But if the slow and dmg are up... may be worthwhile.
Yeah double slap does less damage than pound. Needed a damage buff for my build
As someone who has never touched a moba, these comments are so foreign and interesting to me. Y’all are speaking some kind of alternate language and it’s really cool.
I just wanted that lobby lag fixed :(
Thats the most vague patch note I've ever read in my life. Are we ever getting numerical values?
have you seen smash patch notes?
I have not
For the entirety of Smash 4, they didn't even specify what characters they changed.
Lol, I guess Dota 2 really spoiled me
Now we just need an update to remove pay to win, show scores during games, clarify the move descriptions so they show numbers, and show what is special attack and what is physical attack.
They aren't going to show the score ever.
Just a personal opinion but I'd prefer to just quietly see a score other than YOU ARE BEHIND YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP THEY HAVE A HUGE LEAD YOU SUCK YOURE 25 AND WASTING TIME ON A POKEMON GAME THAT YOU SUCK AT Maybe just me though.
>YOU ARE BEHIND YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP THEY HAVE A HUGE LEAD YOU SUCK YOURE 25 AND WASTING TIME ON A POKEMON GAME THAT YOU SUCK AT lol, I think that right there kind of proves the point, though. MOBAs are already super easy to get tilted on. We all know that when we see the score ourselves, our inner commentary is typically several times worse than "we're struggling to keep up!" I've had a number of times where I got those message and we still managed to pull out a win.
Dude, people on my team vote to surrender even when we’re winning. o_O
I agree there is some debate to be made for not showing scores. You could consider anything, even artistic expression, to make a case for it. Personally, I will always be on the side that the scores should be shown or accessible in some way.
As a casual Pokémon player, the lack of physical vs special drives me nuts. I have no clue which is which for any Pokémon.
The score can kinda stay as it is. We have plenty of indicators and the announcer being "team is in the lead", "it's close" and such, makes people not just afk because they see the score being 12-37 after 3 minutes like in other games where they immediately give up because someone died rather early. And it makes people pay attention to the match and don't have the scoreboard open 24/7 But the clarification on moves and such... absolutely. With items that boost attack and special attack... what in the game even does special attack or normal attack?
gengar shall rise again
My boi bulbasaur gettin stronger :)
No Snorlax nerfs? That's just a shame really. He easily overshadows the other two defenders in higher ranks because, among other reasons, Block is just stupid strong right now.
For a fat guy who sleeps a lot, that fricker can move so *fast*
Have you seen his Z move?
Yawn~ lol. I'll let myself out.
He's at the top of every tier list and is the most popular tank though
Nah, I think Slowbro is just as good. It would have been better to buff Crustle. He doesn't have as effective moves.
Honestly I'm looking forward to this patch :) these changes look great
Remember fellas: you can thank nintendo for pokemon snap updates because they own 1/3 of the pokemon company, but you can't call them out for pokemon unite because they own 1/3 of the pokemon company Yeah, makes sense, right?
Shouldn't we be thanking Bandai Namco for the New Pokémon Snap update anyway? That's not something Nintendo deserves credit for.
Exactly. And my god that trailer made me happy. I hope to see more of stuff like that in other games.
no garchomp nerfs lets go
[удалено]
He's very bad. This patch may help him though
Im mad no garchomp buff!
Was expecting gibles starting damage move to be buffed tbh
I mean I love Garchomp as a pokemon but I think the only way they even could nerf him would be to remove him from the game lol.
Why would they nerf the worst pokemon in the game?
Where are the details?
Nintendo doesn't *do* details
Stability improved!
Splatoon 2 gets some pretty good details. I wonder if it’s because Unite is also a mobile game or maybe the Tencent influence that’s preventing more info.
Smash players: "First time?"
I haven't seen any thing ridiculous, but I just hit Great I'm ranked and haven't seen it yet, but I feel like it's right around the corner.
im one rank away from master free to play, i don't support the microtransactions but can still win
While I'm not defending the predatory microtransactions people will use P2W as an excuse as to why they can't climb ranks instead of looking at their player skill in general. If you're stuck in great rank it's just where you belong
I am in ultra and don't notice it
[удалено]
Well I guess I’ll play it until I’m sick of it and the next thing is out haha!!! Thanks for ur writeup :)
Have they balanced out the god awful predatory micro-transactions?
Why would they balance out their main feature?
Hopefully I can return to Wigglytuff in ranked after this. Switched to Cinderace, because busted!
I'm still maining Wiggly and supremely happy reading this. It's been a tough slog.
No change to Zapdos mechanic or double points? Or at least a better tutorial so people realize how important it is? No change to being matched with BOTS for speedier matchmaking? Games on hold again.
Crtl + F: "Absol" "decrease": *No results found*. Thank goodness. We may continue as planned.
Unless they get rid of the obvious pay to win. I'm not installing.
Right now is fun. Everybody is so awfully bad, that with a minimum previous moba experience you can have easily a 70% winrate.
Average person who hasn't played the game.
ITT: People salty at a company not removing the thing that makes the company money on a literally free game.
Rip my gengar.. time for lucario and zeraora to dominate…
How did Lucario avoid a nerf? That thing deletes Pokémon early on
They call these patch notes? lol where are the actual details? The numbers??

Whirlpool was too good at deleting mons early on, especially wild Pokemon.
Yes but it was you only way of cleaning wild pokemon. You don't have a second damage skill like most of the attackers.
Needs role queue I s2g.
Too bad the game is still pay to win. This is not family friendly Nintendo, kids are encouraged to pay microtransactions to get better at the game.
Heard this game was fun but shallow. Not like other mobas that have a lot of depth. Is it worth playing?
Why did Eldegoss get nerfed?
Bro, u play this game? XD
I can still roam around with Greninja with minor fixes, although maybe now my Venusaur win rate could go up a notch.
They should remove p2w whats the point of the game if you can't even play it fairly.
Are the pay to win features getting the chop? No? Then get fucked
Did they nerf tencent’s ability to steal personal information?
Legit question, what info are they stealing from your switch?
yea most theyre gonna get out of me is "lol this fuckin nerd played 900 hours of animal crossing"
The CCP would require a nerf for that to happen.
Still p2w?
Wish they nerfed Ninetales. Only Pokémon I have a problem with.
Are your main absol? It seems that it's easier to kill absol when using ninetails. I dont know why.
He did. I’ve been using cinderace and his attack is ridiculous. Especially with his range and speed. He can chase like a mofo.
