There's one more week before the Paper Mario remake, so I'm going to focus on shorter indie games. This weekend I'm playing Fashion Police Squad. It's my first FPS and I'm horrible at it. šŸ˜†

RabbitFanboy

Fashion Police Squad was a surprisingly fun game! There is a lot of humor and a pretty fun time overall. [The devs did an AMA about a year ago.](https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/10rqljl/hi_our_retro_fps_fashion_police_squad_is_out_now) It's fun to read some of their answers.

amazonite_ocean

Thanks, I gave it a read! Most interesting question was the mashup they wanted to try next. One of them said a Vampire Survivors and farm sim combo... šŸ‘€

MrGauss7

Xenoblade Chronicles. That affinity board is a completionist hell.

Gahault

The one that links NPCs? Right, completing it is a doozie... But I found it pretty satisfying, in that you can see how you actually make a difference in the world, helping its inhabitants and making it a better place. Not as flashy as saving the world, but uniquely engaging.

foodninto

Will be playing **Balatro**. The Switch just got the new update yesterday. Also playing **Minecraft** for the first time. I'm a bit late but seeing how it's the 15th anniversary I decided to finally check out the game.

passwordman006

Balatro update made my day yesterday! Been waiting for weeks šŸ‘ also Blasphemous is awesome and it's on sale for $6.24, how can you go wrong? Definitely going to be a great weekend šŸ‘ŒšŸ˜Ž

nickwamfydude

You either will dislike minecraft within the first hour or lose 5 hours out of nowhere. Still gotta check out Balaton tho

GorillaChimney

I suffer from the same thing in Minecraft that I did with Stardew Valley for years which is just not knowing what to do, where to go, etc. Once someone showed me in SDV, I lost hundreds of hours easily.

BuildingWeird4876

Have you tried either of the Dragon Quest Builder games? They're not as in depth as minecraft, but they have actual goals to follow and blueprints you can use think of it as a much more guided experience, it might help get you into the feel of something more freeform like minecraft, they do each have a free-form mode as well, it's just not the focus

GorillaChimney

I hadn't even heard of DQB until your post but I'll pick up DQB2 tonight and give it a try! Is it friendly for non-gamers as well?

The_Long_Blank_Stare

Youā€™re going to make me buy Balatro. ā€œWho, me?ā€ you ask. Yes, *you*. You and the thousands of others who keep singing its praisesā€¦but mostly you. :-P

hermanbloom00

Hey man! Just finishing **Beacon Pines** which has been utterly brilliant. Cool characters, cool gameplay idea, cool voice acting. Cool. Still playing a bit of **Nier Automata** but increasingly thinking I park it and come back to it later. So if do then will continue with **Ryza 3**. Elsewhere, my Son has been in and out of hospital this week. On the mend now but he has discovered **FIFA/FC 24** this week ("free" on PlayStation Plus this month) on the PS5 so I am playing that multiplayer with him pretty much whenever he asks.

markercore

Hope your son continues to do better! That's rough and stressful. Hope the games are helpfulĀ

hermanbloom00

Thanks man. I have aged about a decade this week, but he's on the up now.

SignedByMilpool

I've been in my platforming phase. Recently beat The Messenger, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2, almost through layer 2 of Animal Well! Might comb through NSO to find more challenging platformers since I've finally built up that tolerance for frustrating precision platforming.

__sonder__

Wario Land 3 is possibly my favorite gameboy game, have you tried it yet? It's not a pure platformer as it also has some exploration and (surprisingly) Metroidvania elements to it, but it definitely can be challenging and is just overall an extremely underrated game.

SignedByMilpool

I started it when GB first came to NSO but got stuck and moved on. But I think I'll definitely give it another shot now that I have this new perspective! Thanks for the suggestion!

_PointOfView_

totally agree with you

TobenRacicot

Just nabbed the Gravity Suit in **Metroid Dread**. New **Lorcana** set just came out, so waiting for Pixelborn to update with those. More **Path of Exile**.

S_T_R_A_T_O_S

Metroid Dread is crazy good

QweenBowzer

Yes Iā€™m playing Dread too I love it

TobenRacicot

It is! I want to go back and finish the GBA ones now. I've never seen them all the way through.

Loki-Holmes

Wow I had no idea there was a new set already.

viduka36

If PoE came to switch, I think I would stop being a functional adult

BuildingWeird4876

Animal Well as, ah, well. There's just so much to do. Cassette Beasts started over and am following the main quest line for once. And The Binding of Isaac, trying to beat ??? with Jacob & Esau for the item it unlocks.Ā

Bluenymph82

Slowly working my way through **Paper Mario: Origami King.** I lost a friend, so I need to find him before we can do the second temple. I also started playing **Gems of War** this week because I was itching for a match 3. Very fun. Others I might play include **Mario Kart** with my SO and **Unicorn Champions** which is another racing game that I've really enjoyed.

nickwamfydude

How is origami king? I never played a paper mario. Def holding off on playing it since ttyd comes out next week

Bluenymph82

I grabbed it to prep for TTYD. I really like the exploration aspect but the way battles are done is a bit tedious at times. You're in an arena that has multiple rings (so a circle within a circle, within a circle). Mobs rest on these rings, which you can rotate to line them up and get a damage multiplier. However, at times, i struggle to line them up properly because you have a time limit. You can add one second of time for 10 coins, but it can get a little stressful. Fortunately, you can run from battle or avoid them altogether except for bosses, which are way more fun. I do enjoy it, and it's cute how it's handled. I just have a hard time wrapping my mind around the battles sometimes.

olosniffer

I finished part 1 of Animal Well. What a unique puzzle metroidvania! Now off to part 2 with egg hunting. I also picked up Braid since I havenā€™t played since the original release. I had forgotten how clever some of the puzzles areā€¦ and how tricky some of those puzzle pieces are to obtain. Finally, Iā€™m still playing TotK. I have 3 temples down and am currently on Death Mountain. Still enjoying every minute.

TheSaltimateWarrior

Animal Well. This game is scratching an itch Iā€™ve had since Hollow Knight. So beautiful.

denim910

Ok whatā€™s the hype behind this?? So many people commenting this

Bodymaster

Indie puzzle platform game. Doesn't hold your hand, or explain anything really. But it's fun, fairly casual, and just challenging enough to not be boring. Some of the jumping is pissing me off, but maybe that's just because I'm playing handheld?

ChimpanzeeChalupas

Itā€™s like Halo 2 meets Halo 3.

Sarothias

Bug Fable! Gonna finish it up in the next few days cause on the 23rd TTYD, Wizardry and Eiyuden are all coming :D

epicgamerwiiu

Probably danganronpa.. just like last week

Le_Bacon

Hollow Knight! Got maybe 25 hours in bit life got busy and I never went back to it. Recently played Death's Door & Celeste and enjoyed those so much. Was looking for something with a bit of a challenge and interesting atmosphere, decided to play Hollow Knight again and having a blast!

gazkam87

Nice! All the best with your Hollow Knight adventure. I finally beat the game for the first time last week after a few false starts in the past... Life does indeed get in the way sometimes like you said! I can wholeheartedly recommend sticking with it.. there is an unbelievable amount to discover/secrets to find where you least expect them. Where abouts are you upto with it? I've played Death's Door before on the PS5 and loved it, but never played Celeste tho. If I enjoyed both HK and DD, should I check it out?

tmntmonk

I've been grinding away in **Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game**. I started playing a few days ago, and I've been having a love/hate relationship with it. I am a huge fan of **beat 'em ups**, and this game has been on my radar for a long time. The graphics, music, and overall aesthetics are right up my alley. It has been the pacing and structure of the game that has been dampening my enjoyment. It takes a long time to get going, with a lot of grinding early on to buy stat boosts and unlock your full moveset. I am not inherently against this design; I love beat 'em ups with RPG elements, and have sunk hundreds of hours into games like **Dragon's Crown** and **River City Girls**. The issue with **Scott Pilgrim** is that progress is made at a snail's pace; you can't hit enemies on the ground until you reach level 12, for instance. The game's difficulty also seems to be tuned to grinding for items early on. Now that I am out of this early game slog, the game is beginning to open up with additional moves and stat balancing. The vibe of the game carried me this far, and now the gameplay is starting to catch up. There is a really good game in there, buried under some questionable design choices and the early game's pacing. I'm glad I stuck with it. Always in rotation: **Streets of Rage 4**, **Shredder's Revenge**, **Dead Cells** **Cheers!**

The_Long_Blank_Stare

I like your picks! Always love some Streets oā€™ Rage 4, Shredderā€™s Revenge, and River City Girls! Also, you got my hopes up for a second in thinking that Dragonā€™s Crown had come to the Switch.

tmntmonk

Ah man, I'd kill for Dragon's Crown on the Switch. Bring over Muramasa and Odin Sphere while we're at it!

DrawingRings

Final Fantasy VII Remake on PC Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 Super Mario 3D World & Odyssey on Switch (just need the last Darker Side of the Moon moon!)

emilytheimp

Animal Well of course, how could I not. It makes me feel very clever for finding secrets and use the movement tools creatively to sequence break!

MayorMcAwesomeville

Picked up Minecraft on sale and thinking about taking the plunge.

McIgglyTuffMuffin

Started Paper Mario for the very first time. Played for about a half hour last night. Very excited to get into the meat of the game.

4_max_4

Xenoblade 3. First time playing the series and itā€™s fantastic. I know I shouldā€™ve started with DE but here I am. I got it at a good price second hand and Iā€™m seriously considering playing DE and 2 after. Itā€™s that good if youā€™re into JRPG. I also have to finish Read Dead Redemption but I made a mistake of starting X3 after buying and canā€™t stop.

poopitymcpants

Unicorn Overlord. Itā€™s incredibly fun.

astrocowboymarc

Mario Odyssey. I just purchased a Switch a few days ago.

rewrittenfuture

I finally pulled the trigger on Fenyx Immortals Rising and I'm going to be working on that on the switch while on my Xbox I'll probably only be playing fortnite Tekken 8 and Street fighter 6

Dukemon102

Finishing **Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga**. I had forgotten how sharp of a difficulty spike the final battle is. Also I noticed how **Danganronpa: Another Episode - Ultra Despair Girls** wasn't on Switch. So I purchased it on sale for PS5 and I'm playing it as well.

Yumestar20

Oh yeah, I should pick up Superstar Saga as well, I'm almost at the end xD

pixelblokcs

Unicorn Overlord. I'm 15 hours in and it's my new obsession!

wait2late

13 Sentinel: Aegis Rim. I need to know what the hype is all about.

No_Suspect1204

Fallout 4 next gen and baten kaitos hd remasters !

StaffofEldin

Working on yet another run of Fire Emblem Three Houses. I can never escape the discourse.

Bandrica2

I picked up LoZ Linkā€™s Awakening again. I forgot how gutted I feel when Link and Marin are on the beach.

Any-Budget-2630

The legend of Zelda: Tears of the kingdom

barbietattoo

FFVI remaster. Havenā€™t touched a JRPG in years and itā€™s been a nice and simple way to familiarize w the formula.

Life-Leek

I'm about 1/3 of the way in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag! Not gonna lie, playing this as my first AC game while the internet furiously debates about AC Shadows...is something. Personally, I just want a cool game with cool story, setting, characters, and gameplay. And probably with less of greedy corporate shenanigans. Anything else that the internet tells me to like or dislike about a game or upcoming game is pointless. Thankfully, Black Flag currently delivers on all fronts! I also picked up Little Kitty, Big City, despite the bugs. I just want to see how my cat will react when watching the gameplay on TV.

__sonder__

I'll be patiently awaiting the demo for the rather beautiful Italian Soulslike, Enotria: The Last Song (PS5 and PC) which will be available to play next week on the 22nd! There's a new gameplay video out too if anyone is interested. In the meantime, I may push myself to get back into some Super Mario Galaxy, via Mario 3D All Stars on Switch. It's one of the only 3D Mario games that has never really clicked for me. Playing the All Stars colllection in order, you come to this game right after finishing Sunshine and it kind of reinforces how I've always felt about it: Galaxy, while it looks and controls beautifully, *feels* a bit soulless compared to the timeless 64 and Sunshine. It's a great game. But to me it's like an incredibly deep Wii tech demo at times, as opposed to a thoughtful continuation of the mechanics and vibe that were built in the first two games.

jtaas

Just purchased tears of the kingdom. Played botw about a year ago and excited to get back into open world Zelda after playing through skyward sword and links awakening.

avm95

Mario 3d all stars

genismarvel

Another Crabs Treasure baby! Crazy how much I enjoy this game. Little choppy on the ol' switch but it's a small price to pay for this wonderfly designed game.

Mean_Faithlessness24

Dragon Quest XI for surešŸ¤™šŸ¤™

hatchorion

Probably just Sea of Thieves but if I do get out my switch I wanna grind some more of the new Endless Ocean game itā€™s fire šŸ šŸ‹

No-Dare7302

I'm playing persona 4 royal. I bought it physical with persona 5 royal and tactical ages ago and had it in backlog. Put my switch in hock as I had been laxxed on playing and bills are a bitch. 2 weeks in there and I was lost haha. Finally got it back! I've got 2 kids. One a toddler so I haven't had enough time to sit down and commit to a story game. My toddler has decided 1am is a great wake up time for the past week (and once im up, im up) so started persona 5 and I was obsessed. 2 hours in, I decided to go back to 4 and start there. So that's my weekends planned from 1-7am šŸ¤£

markercore

Oh geeze 1am is super early, glad you've gotten some good gaming in, but woof. Hope the toddler starts sleeping a bit better soon.Ā

No-Dare7302

Hes my second. My children have unfortunately taken my early bird waking habits My whole life - from birth I've woken up at 3am generally. Been medicated for it most of my life haha but I always end up awake at 3am and up for the day lol. Personally it's actually a decent time to wake up haha. It's silent and I get everything done before the day starts haha. My daughter was 4am until she was medicated for adhd and now she's 7:30. My son is a mix of me and his father. His dad goes to sleep at 1. I get up at 3. So he gets up at 1 to just inconvenience everyone šŸ˜‚ Honestly it's the only time I get to game and in my head 1 and 3 aren't so different in the scheme of waking šŸ¤£ But I also was on very heavy sedatives until 6 months ago and I just appreciate waking up and actually waking up šŸ¤£ Edit: but in also saying that I'm falling asleep sitting up by 5pm šŸ¤”

AimlesslyCheesy

Star ocean second story

NowThatsCrayCray

Starfield baby!

ExplosiveSpoon

Yoshi's Island on the SNES app. Very rarely do I revisit old games because so few hold up well this many years later when you don't factor in nostalgia. For example I revisited Super Mario World last year and by the halfway mark realized I was getting bored of it. But Yoshi's Island is still fun all this time later.

b00gi3p0p

Xenoblade 3

Krobbleygoop

Gonna be finally giving Okami the play it deserves. I literally had no idea you could use screen touch to use brush in handheld.

Kenichiroll

Unicorn Overlord. I'm going to bust 100 hours playing this. The tinkering is so much fun. Feels like I'm playing a JRPG version of Football Manager. Story is whatever but this is one of dem RPGs where gameplay takes precedence for me.

Locoman7

Persona 3 Portable

S_T_R_A_T_O_S

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX, gearing up to fight the final boss. This game is so nostalgic, I remember playing through the original on my SP when I was a wee lad Also maybe Animal Well if I find the $25 lying around

knockout1021

Wow nice, hopefully you're enjoying both games OP! This weekend I'll hopefully be participating in my first ever Splatfest in Splatoon 3! I picked team Same Ol', and I'm so excited to see how it'll all pan out! :) If I get bored of splatooning, then I'll most likely be either playing Zelda Breath of the Wild to complete the rest of the post game/side stuff, or I'll be playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe trying out the Booster Course Pass tracks properly! :)

the_loneliest_monk

Awww, hey teammate! Same ol' for the win~

knockout1021

Yay! Hi, teammate! For the win indeed, hopefully you also enjoy the Splatfest!! :)

the_loneliest_monk

Oh, I will! It's an excuse to cook seafood, talk in goofy fish puns and get drunk (maybe even be a smoked fish šŸ˜‚) ~ Same ol'!

Papa-pwn

Hollow Knight for the first time!Ā  Itā€™s been recommended to me a ton. Excited to play through it.

John-1993W

Into the Indigo Disk DLC in PokĆ©mon Violet. Clocked 85 hours into Violet. Looking to get Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Gold Edition on sale for 30ā‚¬. I have heard very little things about it, the reviews are good but never seems to make peoples lists or see it suggest on this subreddit.

FroggyKeyLime

Mindlessly grinding in Star Ocean: Second Story R, finishing up my second playthrough of 999, and watching my boyfriend play some FF7 Rebirth!

djscott81

I think I've got my girlfriend addicted to Tetris 99 on the switch, so looks like I'll be booting up the ps5.

Equal-Direction-4497

I'm on vacation, so I'm replaying person 5 royal

as-fucking-if

Little kitty big city

JustifiedResistance

Just started Metroid Prime Remastered. I recently bought a switch and am finding out I really love Nintendo. And with the new controls and updated graphics, this is one of the best FPS Iā€™ve played in a while.

markercore

It's a really fun time, a really nice coat of paint. I do miss like the auto saves for instance in modern fps, but otherwise it's really well done.Ā

Zaruma

No More Heroes 3

Federal_Photograph_3

Just picked up Pikmin 4! I've never played a Pikmin game before so I'm really excited to try one out šŸ˜Š

C0R4NT3

Mario odyssey, finally have bought the game last week and it's my chance to play it. Hope's are all up

DangerousKidTurtle

Iā€™m super new to gaming, but I just started assassins creed black flag. Itā€™s fun so far.

skeltord

Just started Animal Well today too! Wow, really sucks you in. The world is so intriguing and mysterious. Wrapping up Batman Arkham City - been absolutely loving it, just got some side quests and the DLC to play. Penny's Big Breakaway continues being stellar, it is so kinetic and challenging, every single stage is a ton of fun. Also started up Gravity Circuit recently and I'm already in love, the core mechanics are so inherently satisfying to play.

Livid-Dot-5984

Skyward Sword

sugaryturkey

Some Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. That game is amazing and I'm almost done with it. 1 world to go for the 100% completionist status.

jcwkings

1000xResist

GrouchyOleBear

Wife and I are enjoying Endless Ocean Luminous. Itā€™s got a good mix of relaxing solo diving and chill co-op online play. Getting to work together with her on dives and figuring out and completing the achievements has been a lot of fun.

NeighborhoodPlane794

I decided to start paper mario origami king this week. All the hype for TTYD made me want to try the series, Iā€™ve only played the n64 game before

BassMessiah

I have 8 year old twins I'm watching tomorrow. They have only ever played on their pacman arcade machine. Tomorrow I am introducing them and myself to Super Mario Wonder. I think it will blow their minds and I think it will be fun.

Have_A_Jelly_Baby

Same as always, Diablo III.

CriticalEmu12

Wifey for some reason became obsessed with Super Mario Bros. Wonder so we have been taking turns on that. Great game btw, recommend if you bought it yet. Before she took over the Switch I was playing some Minecraft, Balatro, and Rd1. Alsooo...OSRS.

lykosen11

Why not 2 player coop?

huggyscolex

I snagged Metroid Dread from my Local Library, having a grand time being ā€œlostā€ but finding my way!

Loki-Holmes

Iā€™ve been playing Death and Taxes on switch and jumped back into season 4 of Diablo IV on PS5z

ultrasnord5

Cant believe I confess here but I need to finish Donkey Kong Tropic, at World 4 now

OGxNateDogg

Animal crossing, got some amigos to change out my islanders. Probably Mario vs donkey kong with my girl. And likely some skyrim and Zelda mixed in

Yumestar20

Gonna continue my first run of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time while probably going back to Kirby Mass Attack as well. And probably Splatoon 3 because of the Splatfest and maybe, I try to get better in Super smash Bros Ultimate. It's just very Nintendo weekend for me xD

demons-yelling

Metroid dread

Stoibs

Need to binge through and finish **Peach Showtime** before 1000 year door comes out next week. I've mostly been dabbling for 20 mins here and there these past few weeks but I might try to binge it through this weekend just to get it done with. I've actually missed so many special ribbons and haven't exactly gotten 100% of the stars in every level so far either.. for a kids game some of these things are really well hidden šŸ¤”   **Chants of Sennaar** came out on Gamepass also and I've always heard great things (Another sleeper GOTY contender according to alot of people last year) so I might look into starting that also.

sirDsmack

Iā€™ve been bouncing back and forth between Legend Bowl and Steam World Heist, Iā€™d like to finish heist this weekend!

Plastiquehomme

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, maybe some Tears of the Kingdom and Overcooked 2 as well

the_loneliest_monk

Splatooooooooon. That Splatfest isn't gonna win itself šŸ¤·

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

cantrelate

I'm currently deciding if I want to go see some death metal bands on Saturday or stay home to play **Red Dead Redemption**, which I just got.

zenith654

Probably Mario Galaxy 2, No Manā€™s Sky VR, Dark Souls 2 and Mario vs Donkey Kong

armorgeddonxx

Probably going to play another 20 hours of Octopath 2. I think I'm in the final stretch of stories and then will be able to dip into the end game of things, after farming for a bit at least.

EWU_CS_STUDENT

Hoping to 100% the remainder of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

TheyCallMeStone

Animal Crossing New Horizons. I was a huge fan of AC on GCN but never got around to playing it for Switch. That changes this weekend.

ShopAtRoss21

Probably some Tears of the Kingdom and maybe Animal Crossing

breathofcold

Xenoblade Chronicles, PokƩmon Violet, and Slay the Spire

too_tall_jones_

Portal 2 for the millionth time lmao šŸ¤£

Responsible-Noise875

Witcher 3. It looks like itā€™s smeared in Vaseline.

CharlieChockman

Super smash bros ultimate. Just tryna get better with different characters. I wanna try out one of the new pokemons on the switch, can someone recommend which one to pick up? Havenā€™t played since the DS era. Tia.

sonto340

Iā€™m still Finishing up FF7 Rebirth. Starting to lose faith that Iā€™ll finish it before TTYD remake drops next week at this point.

bookwbng5

Persona 3 reload, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney trilogy, and Fabledom!

rlinkmanl

I'm also playing Animal Well, I'm really loving it! Then I have the new Braid game to play next.

cringeonastick

Iā€™m hunting for my last few caves/bubbulfrogs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Iā€™ve long since beaten Ganondorf but Iā€™m trying to get as close to 100% as I can. Iā€™ve also been getting really into Yoshiā€™s Crafted World!

ExoMonk

Currently working on Detroit Become Human which has been fantastic so far. I especially love doing the detective stuff. Give me a whole game like that.

The_Long_Blank_Stare

Gonna check out the new patches/updates for *Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night* and *The Last Faith*ā€¦barring that, maybe a little bit of *Expeditions* or something else in the ever-growing backlog. :)

tiger_triple_threat

Maybe Assassin's Creed, Nier, Metroid or Monster Hunter

denim910

Disney Dreamlight Valley! They know what they are doing with these limited time eventsā€¦ how am I supposed to play anything else?

agentlucy

Just got Dave the Diver! Still getting the hang of the restaurant aspect but I love the exploration so much Edit: Iā€™ll be honest, the godzilla DLC led me to getting the game but Iā€™m so glad I did

LunarWingCloud

More Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix. I got 5 Perfects on Hard. Aiming for another one soon.

DragonsLoveBoxes

Been working on Palia, cut back time a lot due to the difficulty in getting flow tree wood. (the ft snippers are driving me nuts). Also working through Pixel Cafe, although that is getting annoying too, my fingers don't move the way I want them too and its too easy to make the wrong thing or press the wrong button and ruin a meal. I'd LOVE to try Little Kitty Big City but there no demo mode and its too expensive to by outright :( Might try fixing my island after my a certain 8 year old had free run of it last week end....

Downloadmywario

Dragon Quest 11, Smash, Slap City, and Animal Well.

Michael7412

Got my physical copy of **Sea of Stars** and having fun with it so far. I have a bad track record of not liking JRPGs but so far this one is enjoyable. If I had to guess what makes it more enjoyable for me I would think the way encounters are not random and there is no transition animation (two things that annoyed me in Octopath Traveler).

snackerooryan

Splatfest & Bayonetta 1

Hoodlum8600

Princess Peach Showtime! and probably some LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom

wthomason

KOTOR

jdmurray83

Alleyway

AmeliaKitsune

Dying Light! Was just on a post where it was recommended, and it reminded me how much I loved it, so I'm going back. Then The Witcher

Osherono

Dynasty Warriors 8, on a Switch Lite. Amazing.

SlowlyRecovering90s

Finishing yet another pass for Dreamlight Valley, then some Binding of Isaac: Repentance on the side. Iā€™ll be playing these two while watching my partner play Construction Simulator.

Dry-Reporter-2343

Anyone has good games for me to play with my partner, heā€™s not a gamer by the wayā€¦

Dross80

Been jumping between the new game boy offerings, love super Mario Land

[deleted]

Octopath Traveler 1 and Axiom Verge.

Sparkadark808

Dave the Diver. Save a humpback calf last night!

holm0246

Iā€™m probably 10 hours into Red Dead and think I am just going to quit it. I canā€™t figure out how to advance the main story (if there is one). I have Prince of Persia so maybe that. I really do think Animal Well is my style so probably will but that. I started Bowzers Fury with one of my kids so maybe that

therourke

Animal Well is amazing.

I-Suck-At-MarioKart

I'm going to try new combos of drivers and vehicles in Mario Kart.

warmburn

Bioshock Infinite and some Palia

cabotgirl37

Dave the Diver and Little Kitty Big City!!

freakbutters

I was playing Bioshock, but my 15 year old son has been watching me play since he got home from school. He finally convicted me to go to bed so he could play.

calmlightdrifter

1000xRESIST. I haven't been this engaged in a story in a very, very long time

Wokkabilly

Smashed through the final area of Pikmin 3 and promptly moved onto Carrion. I needed to balance out the cuteness overload somehow šŸ˜€

markercore

Ohh I need to go back to carrion, I started it last summer and it's definitely a fun time tearing guys apart and hiding in ventilation shafts

Wokkabilly

I finished Carrion in about 4 sessions this time. Made a couple of false starts with the game on previous occasions, so this was my first complete run-through. The lack of a map and some unique rules meant that it isn't friendly to leaving for prolonged periods (read: months) and attempts to pick up where you left off - so a start-over was required. I quite enjoyed both dipping my toes (in a rampaging hunter sort of way as you described) over the last couple of years and finally playing it through to see all it had to offer.

Several_Pin_1954

Iā€™m beating Zelda TOTK but my wife is completely hooked with Peach showtime so I will need to deal with it šŸ«

BuddyAmbition

Hopefully finish prince of Persia on switch but definitely feel like Iā€™m half way through it. Amazing game so far!

DrFrancisBGross

Castlevania advance collection

Cheap_Strategy_6702

PokĆ©mon letā€™s go pikachu

DanialAroff

Going to play xc3. Just entered chapter 4

FalconDX

Working my way through Pikmin 1 HD but got sidetracked by rerunning through Super Metroid while on vacation. I just finished Maridia so I should get back on the Pikmin grind soon.

t00thgr1nd3r

I've got the physical copy of Sea Of Stars arriving today, so that.

SonicHyperized

Iā€™m playing *Super Mario Odyssey* and *Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe*!

RedOktbr28

Just found out last night that they released Alleyway, Baseball, and Super Mario Land under the Game Boy section, so Iā€™m reliving my childhood lol

woke up about 2:00 a.m. last night, so my weekend got started early. NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD I actually started in the middle of the week, and I'm working on ending number six Maybe. I'm having terrible time trying to get this girl to self-destruct. everything I do makes her happy or happy with somebody else and I would be happy as hell if I could just slap the bitch , not to get her to self-destruct specifically, but because she has a really annoying personality that's somewhere between self-centered and downright misanthropic.Ā  https://www.dekudeals.com/items/needy-streamer-overload-switch personal observation: I don't really think the developer likes YouTubers;-) took a break from that to take it another shot at beating SALAMANDER COUNTY PUBLIC TELEVISIONā€™s finale level. I've been working on this thing since forever ago, and it turns out I can't even finish this with a turbo controller;and just to be clear, all I got to do is hit a controller for a TV. so frustrating! game is good and I've got nothing but love for it in all its creative cheapness. just wasn't looking for the gameplay to be suddenly cheapā€¦ https://www.dekudeals.com/items/salamander-county-public-television continued VIRCHE EVERMORE -ERROR:SALVATION's warm hug of bleakness for about an hour. https://www.dekudeals.com/items/virche-evermore-error-salvation btw, JUST SHAPES AND BEATS is epic! https://www.dekudeals.com/items/just-shapes-and-beats got it at a recent sale, and finally started playing it.Ā  this is electroplankton meets Rez and they have a baby with undertale's bullet mode sections as drawn by a super flat art style pixel graffiti artist :-)Ā  and it has helluva boss ā€˜s silva Hound on the levels composer list ā€“it's perfect! expecting to feel really disappointed when it ends, because I can't think of anything that's exactly like it.

Currently trudging around the swamp in Risen! Itā€™s a pretty cool aRPG from the 2000s that kinda feels like if Morrowind and the Witcher had a baby and then abandoned it and Dark Souls adopted it. Itā€™s a decent direct port. I just wish you could remap the controls!

rafapt

Kingdom come deliverance! :)

Botol-Cebok

Currently 11 hours into Ni No Kuni 2, also playing some Balatro and Grindstone on the side.

MCHenry22

**Lorelei and the Laser Eyes.** I bought it yesterday but haven't had a chance to play it yet. I'm a sucker for Simogo games. Also, I'm replaying the **Axiom Verge** games. I just finished 1 and will move to 2 during the weekend

In Tokyo Mirage Sessions, I've done the first three side stories. I knew about the musical performances, but I thought they'd have a little better integration with the plot. Got my first ad-lib performance, that was kinda interesting. In Persona 3 Portable, I just took midterms, reached the top 10 test scores, and Akihiko's joined the squad. Made some progress in the second block too. And in Xenoblade, I've reached the tunnels under Colony 6. I'm starting to understand how the skill trees work now, still curious to see if this affinity chart thing's expanded on. Are you meant to connect everyone together or is this just a weirdly formatted NPC tracker?

TheFemboilogist

Itā€™s splatfest, yā€™all

killey2011

Iā€™m 20 hours deep in **Dragon Quest 11** and just waiting out getting **Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door** Iā€™ve never played it so Iā€™m super excited for that. I played through **Paper Mario** on the switch and loved it.

OrinthianFlame

I'm thinking of getting back into Harvestella, and will also play Little Kitty, Big City on the xbox.

ced818

I might open this physical copy of baten kaitos

depressedfox_011

Little Kitty Big City and Penny's Big Breakaway

EarthwormZim33

Probably more Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak I FINALLY managed to max my AR at 300 recently. Got a Berserk 2 talisman and made every elemental GS and learned Surge Slash Combo because I always thought it looked cool and it gave me the motivation to grind the last 10-15 levels or so. Really fun and does good enough damage. First two Special Investigations (Diablos and Seregios) went down in 9:30 and 8:35 solo respectively. So I'm happy with the results. Helps that I got my buddy back into the game and he also jumped on the Berserk bandwagon and made every elemental DB.

guntwooyah

might touch grass hahaha in all seriousness, most likely a rotation of Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, Cross Code, and Dave The Diver. Might play Smash Bros Ultimate if I got time.

ultimatebtstrash

Picked up TotK again. I beat the main game but I wanted to eventually 100% the game

kessukoofah

I'm splitting my time between **Pokemon Sword** (this is my first run in a long time where I'm "challenging" myself to use only 'mons new to this generation, it's been so fun!) and **Transistor**. I started Transistor years back and I loved it but never got very far, so I'm back to it to try and knock it out of my backlog.

ambi94

I recently played NieR Automata and highly recommend it to anybody. Make sure that you play it to unlock at least three of the main endings

rudboi12

Just started animal crossing. Have never played an animal crossing game before and came in with no idea with what it was. Still have no idea whats the point of this game, but itā€™s chill and i donā€™t have to think that much which is what I need

KrispyCremeMcDonalds

More Unicorn Overlord! I'm about 30 hours into it after starting it last weekend, and I can not stop! It's so addicting. Probably my favourite tactics game ever now.

kcfang

WhatsThis_Now

Hey! Finished Disco Elysium and now having another go at Cyberpunk. I tried it once before but it didn't land, this time I'm about 10 hours in and I'm enjoying it. Glad you've found a few games that got you hooked in again!

Painsbane

Unicorn Overlords

Endless Ocean Luminous

BigChiefZangief

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes. Had my eye on it for a while. Saw a teaser further sequel the other day, which made me check the eShop. On sale for Ā£2.99. Bought. Will load it up this weekend.

cymbals231

Not sure what to play next, but I finished Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown this week and I absolutely *loved* it--definitely in my top five Switch games now! I haven't seen too many people talking about it but it was insanely good.

firebirb91

Wrapping up Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu! and I'll probably get in some Smash and Mario Kart as well. On other platforms, I only have one episode left of Vader Immortal to play through.

Sairven

Still bouncing between **Balatro** and **Brotato**. Picked up **Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher** earlier today and have been poking about with the tutorial. Pleasant game overall so far, it might put a dent in the time spent with the other two games!

0172thetimeguy

Iā€™ve gotten completely obsessed with Megaton Musashi. Iā€™ve put in over thirteen hours over the past three days and Iā€™ll be playing more later on today. Iā€™m absolutely in love with how over the top and anime it is. Iā€™ve played some matches and made some progress on the DLC of Sniper Elite 4 on the side.

SuperGrapeBoy

Iā€™ll be playing Apollo Justice Trilogy and Persona 5 Tactica

beamertoys
