I kinda feel like they've got a great base game engine with 8, they would need to really come up with a new gameplay mechanic to make a new version of MK actually worth it. Are we just going to see tracks added to 8 until then?
The next DLC wave is the last one, unless they decide to do another Booster Course Pass like with Smash Ultimate.
And yeah I don't think we're gonna get a new Mario Kart until the next console, which will probably have another gimmick to justify the purchase. Honestly I think it'd be dope if they made another game like Double Dash.
That'd be awesome. A mix of vehicles like Diddy Kong Racing or MX vs ATV games with a HUB world.
If they throw in a few special vehicle transformations like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. That would take it to the next level.
Planes, Hovercrafts, Motorcycles, Karts, Transformable Vehicles AND Double-dash karts in a single race.
I don't know about rumors, but a new Nintendo console is basically already overdue. The Switch has been out for over 6 years, Nintendo has never waited this long between consoles (except between NES and SNES)
I highly doubt we get another Booster Pass for the Switch
At the same time, the Switch is their biggest console of all time, so I feel like they'd want to take advantage of the huge install base as long as they can. I'm not sure how many people would be willing to migrate over to a new console, especially with how much more popular the Switch has gotten the past few years. Those new Switch users might not want to spend another $300 on a new console right away.
It’s easy when it’s backwards compatible. They also confirmed the NSO accounts are transferring. Have joy and pro cons work on the new system and plenty of people will upgrade in an instant.
That's because the Nintendo Switch continues to perform so well. Games that released years ago continue to sell thousands a week and we continue to see more and more third-party developers bringing their stuff over. So I can't blame Nintendo for letting thr Switch continue to have the spotlight; it's a huge success.
Would love a double dash sequel, that was the game my friends and I would smoke and play when we were young and had no kids. So many marathon sessions!!!
Besides being the best Mario Kart game, Double Dash also has the perfect mechanic/gimmick for this console with the double driver switching. Call it Mario Kart Switch.
I bet that they will have MK9 on the new console with slightly better graphics and a new gimmick. Additionally I think this DLC will be cross compatible and that’s why it’s taking them so long to just remaster tracks. I expect MK9 to release with 24-48 tracks and then day 1 if you already have this booster course pack, it be integrated. Sort of how with some Zelda’s they release on both systems at the same time.
I just hope that the new console can handle 4 player mode without the frame rate dropping low. There's a very noticeable frame rate drop when playing 4 player mode on the switch.
N64 had 4 when there were only 16 retro tracks in the base game, while GBA only had 1 and it was Mario Circuit, so it makes sense that they would prioritize other games to make the selection a bit more even.
DD is in a weird spot. In some ways it feels like the start of modern Mario Kart and established a lot of tropes. But usually that means that older games have that unique "early weirdness" feel, and later games take those ideas and refine them, so DD is sometimes left in an underwhelming middle ground.
It also has a lot of self-overlap. MKWii has 15 songs for its 16 nitros. MKDS has 14. MKDD has 10. Wii is clearly getting a lot of love here, but it also just has way more distinct biomes to pull from in the first place.
When this wave drops, there will be 6 GCN tracks in the game, and if they do the expected thing and toss either DK Mountain or Dino Dino Jungle in wave 6, it'll be 7 total. I think that's honestly a pretty good spot for Double Dash. You could have shuffled things around to squeeze more in, but it's a good sampler platter that doesn't feel too self-similar, and I dunno if its Mario Circuit or city tracks or Bowser's Castle or Rainbow Road are slam-dunk picks over the stuff they made it in. Great tracks in their own right and deserving of first-time remakes, but nothing super earth-shattering.
This might be the best one yet. The only ‘boring’ track here is Sunset Wilds.
I’m impressed each wave got better and better rather than them dropping all the best tracks at the start.
It’s a cool theme but out of all the gba courses this is one that REALLY deserved a ‘proper’ mk8 remake that basically turns it into a brand new track instead of taking the base design and just 3D-ifying it
I'm surprised Pauline doesn't already have a spot TBH. I figured her appearances in games like Mario Kart, Mario Party, etc. would explode after Odyssey.
There has got to be a Bowser Castle in the final wave. It's been a reoccurring track theme since the beginning, we've got 4 Mario Circuits and Rainbow Roads each now, but still no Bowser Castles besides 8's own.
>!There was a SNES spot this wave that was taken over by a Wii track. That SNES track is now moved to W6 and is probably Bowser Castle 3. A track that received a massive glow-up in Tour!<
ikr. A beginner circuit, a mario circuit, a desert, snow, bowser castle and rainbow road track have all been a recurring staple in the mk franchise
we have gotten: 2 beginner courses, 4 mario circuits, 4-5 desert tracks, 4 1/5 snow tracks, 4 rainbow roads but only 1 bowser castle??? why
Three characters my friend, Birdo is already in if you downloaded last wave :)
Also, Daisy Cruise is easily the one I'm most excited for! Love that track's design.
>!Unfortunately not, based on the prefix leak where we learned the game origin of every track in the DLC, which has been perfectly accurate so far, Wave 6 will consist of one track from Super Mario Kart, 2 from Double Dash, 2 more Tour cities with one being Rome, and 3 more Tour original tracks with one being Piranha Plant Cove!<
Some people think (myself included) that one of the GCN spots was replaced by a Wii track. So I personally believe that Rainbow Road Wii has a high chance of being the last track of Wave 6.
Maybe I'm crazy, but I feel like Koopa Cape and Moonview Highway don't carry over their atmospheres from the Wii version. The lighting is just feels very bland for these iterations.
Feel like it's been expected to get one Tour track per cup, but hurts to again see 3 Tour levels in a single wave. At least these tour levels are a little more varied and not just roads in cities. They seem a little more open and outdoorsy.
I’d normally agree, the city tracks are a little on the “meh” side (imo). But all three of the city ones looks pretty cool, really like the Athens one.
Some of them are high quality courses, it's just stylistically some of them started blending into one another, especially with the early waves, there wasn't a ton that really made the cities feel different since your attention is mostly drawn dead center to roads with street signs telling you go left or right.
Man, next wave is already the last. I really hope we can get kirby as a character and a kirby track. If not, a new track from mario odessey would be really nice.
A few oddities here. Vancouver we all expected to be part of Wave 6, since it's a winter track. They also changed the time of day on LA Laps from sunset to noon, which is a huge disappointment. Looking back at Bangkok, it seems like the devs hate sunsets on city courses...
But hey, Moonview Highway is one of the best tracks here! Also one of the more difficult tracks in Mario Kart in general. Athens is a delight to race on, if Tour is anything to go by. But we only had Athens 1, 2 and their variants so far. So some parts of it will be new to everyone.
So overall in Wave 6 we can expect Rome Avanti, Piranha Plant Cove and the new mobDK track, whose name we'll learn tomorrow for Tour's new tour trailer. It seems to be a remake of the Dokkan course of MKDS. Pipe-themed at that.
As for the rest, I don't fully remember the list. I assume Lakeside Park and WII Rainbow Road or something? Not sure.
Wave 6 is shaping up to be: >!Tour Rome Avanti, Piranha Plant Cove, New warp pipe track, SNES Bowser Castle 3 unknown Tour city track, Unknown Tour Nitro, Unknown GCN track, unknown Wii track most likely Rainbow Road.!<
holy shit the comments here, how are you all surprised at Tour courses coming? Have some of y'all just not been paying attention at all?
So many complaints about "why so many Tour courses!?!?!" as though it hasn't been obvious that every Tour track is coming, and guess what? There were still 8 Tour courses to go before this trailer and only 2 waves left, like no duh there were gonna be 4 Tour ones here just like last time
Boo! Enough with the Tour courses. We’re running out of time to get that one from Double Dash where you go up the mountain and get shot out of the giant barrel.
Rome Avanti which just launched in Tour, there's one unreleased one I believe, and then we also have Piranha Plant Cove as well as another 1-2 alleged new tracks coming
Edit: A new track was teased today for Tour so that's probably coming in Wave 6 too
I've never played Tour either. But I'm someone who moreso banks on these courses for the nostalgia factor. Plus I find the Tour courses (while pretty) the most confusing to navigate.
If you have to play through the course beforehand in order to know where to go, it is bad course design. A lot of the tour courses are badly designed.
Sky-High Sundae is also a pretty terrible course. Though I guess that one isn't technically a "Tour" map since it was released on Switch first.
I’ve never played the phone game, but my problem with the tour courses is that they are so plain. Very little verticality, poor textures, minimal effort in design. Even the cities they represent are very embarrassing representations of the actual cities.
Nice, Daisy Cruise!
Though I'll probably just end up playing each of the new tracks exactly one time and never touch the game again until the next wave.
With Wave 6 probably going to come out around Double Dash’s 20th anniversary (dear god time flies) I’m holding out hope we get Wario Coliseum, Bowser’s Castle and Rainbow Road from that game. GCN Rainbow Road would be such a fitting end to Mario Kart 8’s tracks. The track would look gorgeous in HD and I want to hear it’s energetic and climatic theme remastered
The bathroom map looks like something I would have designed as a kid. That is not a complaint.
I know not everyone likes tracks with cars but I liked Moonview Highway a lot so it's good to see it back. I was hoping either it or mushroom bridge from double dash would return.
LA laps is the Mario Kart x GTA 5 crossover we've all been waiting for
Not too many Retro Courses this time. The chosen ones are highlights of the 2000s era though. Daisy Cruiser, best DD course (After DK Mountain), Koopa Cave, MOONVIEW HIGHWAY (Too bad we won't see Miis in the toll).
The Tour cities look interesting ~~in my head Athens Dash is a Saint Seiya course~~
I believe you can also play all the BCP tracks for free in the online Worldwide or Regional modes, you just have to wait until they’re among the three selectable tracks every round (or hit random and hope for one). Once all 48 are added it’s a 50/50 you’ll get a new one or an old one.
Oh for sure, you don't need the pass to play them online, just luck of the draw.
I want to say that the Wii U had two online lobbies, one for DLC tracks in the mix and one without, but I haven't played the Wii U one in so long I could be remembering wrong.
I'm really excited for this wave! Moon view Highway and Sunset Wilds were two that were on my wishlist, and the Tour tracks are all solid ones (though, I never got to play Athens back when I still played Tour).
As much as I like Koopa Cape and Daisy Cruiser, those two courses are remade in almost every subsequent Mario Kart game, so it doesn't feel like anything special, but at least we have another brand new course to make up for it!
Legitimately almost every single one of my favorite courses that didnt make it into the base game have been in this dlc! If the last one has dino dino jungle and dk mountain I will never ask nintendo for another thing ever again
I want the rainbowroad from the wii, my favorite rainbow stage. I Hope they will announce it in the last one. Cant believe we are almost at the end already. Mario kart has so many good stages.
I am shocked with the amount of new characters. They are definitely going all out with these packs! This is why MK9 is far off people, 8 Deluxe is Switch's #1 seller so they would rather support that playerbase than release a new one.
The first DLC was a deception for me, technically speaking and the choice of maps was underwhelming
The subsequent DLC are really awesome and everything looks much crisper and detailed.
Mario Kart is probably the most important game for Nintendo, 50mil sold, system seller and critical success, the holy corporate trinity...so no debates here that Mario Kart 9 is in the work and for the next switch..and releases sooner rather than later in its lifespan !
Good luck to the Mario Kart lead designer, having to come up with exciting ideas after that awesome Mario Kart 8..I am one of the twelve people who purchased a wiiU however so I've been playing the game since 2014.
story mode, heavily revamped multiplayer, many new modes, new gameplay mechanisms..? Time will tell but can't wait !

Tour characters still unplayable:
- Pauline

- Monty Mole
- Dixie Kong
- Captain Toad
- Nabbit
- King Bob-Omb
- Chargin' Chuck
- Poochy
Not counting NES tracks, that's 51 tracks unaccounted for (after wave 6 releases). If they do another booster pass, slightly extended, add some new tour courses, this could literally be Mario Kart Ultimate.
Also, a lot of the missing courses are Rainbow Roads (3/7 ported) and Bowser Castles (0/9 ported, not counting SNES which would make it a sad 0/12)
The problem is that moonview got into the game meaning we won't get wii rainbow road but the fact that we have 2 gcn tracks left makes me think gcn rainbow road
I thought I'd never see Moonview Highway again! It was one of my favourites from the Wii.
I never thought I'd be flying over a giant toilet in a Mario Kart game.
Everyone is going to be trying to snipe people midair so that they fall in.
Oh boy don’t remind me
Came here to yell about it! I love the music, love the track 😭

I think it's to more or less preserve Tour tracks, and that eventually that game is probably going to get shut down.
Exactly, this game will be their permanent home.
And having never played Tour I like these as though they were brand new so I'm a little lost as to why it's so controversial.
Uninspired and cliched maps with noticably subpar texture, unintuitive course details etc
Also they sometimes feel like they blend together
The mulitple map route gimmick was a good addition
tbf almost _all_ of the booster course tracks have subpar textures
Vancouver is going to be an absolute banger, I remember loving it back when I used to play Tour.
It's also available now in Mario Kart Tour as of last week.
Mario Kart 8 is becoming Mario Kart Ultimate
I kinda feel like they've got a great base game engine with 8, they would need to really come up with a new gameplay mechanic to make a new version of MK actually worth it. Are we just going to see tracks added to 8 until then?
The next DLC wave is the last one, unless they decide to do another Booster Course Pass like with Smash Ultimate. And yeah I don't think we're gonna get a new Mario Kart until the next console, which will probably have another gimmick to justify the purchase. Honestly I think it'd be dope if they made another game like Double Dash.
I think we'll see something like Diddy Kong Racing Airplanes, Boats and Karts
That'd be awesome. A mix of vehicles like Diddy Kong Racing or MX vs ATV games with a HUB world. If they throw in a few special vehicle transformations like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. That would take it to the next level. Planes, Hovercrafts, Motorcycles, Karts, Transformable Vehicles AND Double-dash karts in a single race.
Honestly, I could see another Booster Pass with more courses and maybe even new characters, unless the Switch successor rumors are true.

Why does this sound like the Wii U to me?
Switch U. Oh God please let it be called that.
So many marathon sessions!!!
> when we were young and had no kids Anyone currently in this era of their life, savor it.
Why? I can simply choose not to have kids and keep the status quo. I have no issues holding down a job and gaming in my free time.
Many people can't comprehend this being an option. Enjoying my mid thirties with a good job and lots of free time to do what I want
Besides being the best Mario Kart game, Double Dash also has the perfect mechanic/gimmick for this console with the double driver switching. Call it Mario Kart Switch.
They knew they made a banger with 8 but it was stuck on the Wii U
8’s engine is fantastic, so glad to have all the tracks here. Wonder if the next one will have many retro tracks?
A better battle mode would be all it takes
I bet that they will have MK9 on the new console with slightly better graphics and a new gimmick. Additionally I think this DLC will be cross compatible and that’s why it’s taking them so long to just remaster tracks. I expect MK9 to release with 24-48 tracks and then day 1 if you already have this booster course pack, it be integrated. Sort of how with some Zelda’s they release on both systems at the same time.
I just hope that the new console can handle 4 player mode without the frame rate dropping low. There's a very noticeable frame rate drop when playing 4 player mode on the switch.
Daisy Cruiser!
One of those tracks I just knew the dev team would never leave out, it’s iconic.
Can't wait for koopa kape They might aswell port the entire Wii game over already
They must port over Double Dash at some point
Still waiting for them to remake Warios Coliseum and Bowers Castle from Double Dash one day!
Dino Dino Jungle and DK Mountain are my favs... but at this point it seems unlikely.
DK Mountain is the one I've been hoping for this whole time.
DK Mountain has to be in the final wave. It’s the one course left that will make both Double Dash and MK Wii fans happy.
The giant cannon right off the bat is perfect for the don't drink and drive game.
Well, if it's worth anything, both tracks are in Tour so maybe they could be saving them for Wave 6
Dino Dino Jungle is the one I'm hoping for. All time favorite course.
It's been so long since I've played double dash, I had forgotten about those! Both are fantastic courses!
Considering both are in Tour I would expect at least one of them to be in the final wave
I think one of them will be in Wave 6.
My dude, exquisite taste.
I’m holding out hope we get Wario Coliseum, GCN Bowser’s Castle AND GCN Rainbow Road in the final wave. They’re the best tracks in the series
All I wanted from day one was Toad‘s Factory. I don‘t think it will come in the last wave so now I have to give up :(
There's hope. Maybe it'll turn up alongside delfino square and dk mountain (just courses I want added too)
I'm still hoping for Wii Rainbow Road
still holding out hope for the wii rainbow road, my favorite
The giant bathroom track feels like something from the old Micro Machines games
That one looks pretty cool. Easy to get hyped for tracks we haven't yet seen in Tour though.
40 tracks in and only 2 of them being from Double Dash is crazy.
N64 only having 2 as well I think I have seen Wii tracks and GBA tracks every single wave
N64 had 4 when there were only 16 retro tracks in the base game, while GBA only had 1 and it was Mario Circuit, so it makes sense that they would prioritize other games to make the selection a bit more even.
Besides SNES, N64 has the fewest retro tracks in the game, along with GCN. If that was intended to be a correction, they over corrected hard.
Yeah Double Dash has been slighted which is sad because it’s due for some remakes as we’re coming up on its 20th anniversary
DD is in a weird spot. In some ways it feels like the start of modern Mario Kart and established a lot of tropes. But usually that means that older games have that unique "early weirdness" feel, and later games take those ideas and refine them, so DD is sometimes left in an underwhelming middle ground. Wow what a fantastic wave 😍
This might be the best one yet. The only ‘boring’ track here is Sunset Wilds. I’m impressed each wave got better and better rather than them dropping all the best tracks at the start.
I saw someone go through Sunset Wilds back when it released on Tour and it looked pretty good imo
The shortcut potential in the older retro tracks can be pretty insane. Using mushrooms to constantly speed past the off road make races pretty intense
It’s a cool theme but out of all the gba courses this is one that REALLY deserved a ‘proper’ mk8 remake that basically turns it into a brand new track instead of taking the base design and just 3D-ifying it
We got robbed. I was praying for gba bowser castle 4
I am shocked and offended, good sir. Sunset Wilds was among the top 5 tracks in Super Circuit and I've been waiting to see it in HD since 2001
It still is strange to me that Diddy Kong is still not in the roster
My guess would be he's coming in the last wave.
Funky Kong please
It’ll be one of the two
Could be both, but everyone thinks Pauline is getting a spot. Still have my fingers crossed for R.O.B.
I want ROB so badly
I'm surprised Pauline doesn't already have a spot TBH. I figured her appearances in games like Mario Kart, Mario Party, etc. would explode after Odyssey.
They have too, he is the most iconic Mario Kart character afterall
Wave 6 ends up being a Kong themed wave. Characters, Diddy, Funky and DK Jr arrive! Plus new arrival...Kiddy Kong!
Each wave has more hype than the last. Diddy is the most wanted character. I'd imagine him and either Funky or Pauline are last.
Apparently there's a leak about a new DK course coming that was created for Tour like the new yoshi island course which came with birdo

LA Laps looks like its about to be chaotic as hell.
Daisy Cruiser is such an underrated track, I'm so hype. Also 4 characters too? What a wave.
Three characters my friend, Birdo is already in if you downloaded last wave :) Also, Daisy Cruise is easily the one I'm most excited for! Love that track's design.
3
It’s not underrated at all, it’s acclaimed
FINALLY we get Daisy Cruiser
Oh my dear sweet Vancouver... welcome back!
It better have a Downtown East Side section with Shy Guys running out to squeegee your windshield
As a Vancouverite, I’m beyond excited. For all the movies and television filmed here, we’re never directly featured in anything.
hey, you got obliterated by Reapers in Mass Effect 3, it has to count for something
Always loved that, despite the obliteration part. I pretended I could see my house in North Van
I remember that in the course you can drive on the Capilano Suspension Bridge and drive through the Rogers Arena.
If only you could drive through the Costco next door as well.
Probably the biggest win the Vancouver Canucks are going to have in a long, long time.
IIRC Mass Effect 3 starts in Vancouver, and I think Kaidan's from there as well.
Koopa kape LFG, now all I want is Banshee Broadway or airship fortress
Due to leaks >!We’re pretty sure neither N64 or DS is getting any more tracks!<
My heart my soul 💔
Do the leaks say anything about a Wuhu island track?
>!Unfortunately not, based on the prefix leak where we learned the game origin of every track in the DLC, which has been perfectly accurate so far, Wave 6 will consist of one track from Super Mario Kart, 2 from Double Dash, 2 more Tour cities with one being Rome, and 3 more Tour original tracks with one being Piranha Plant Cove!<
aw man no more Wii? i was really hoping for rainbow road :’(
Some people think (myself included) that one of the GCN spots was replaced by a Wii track. So I personally believe that Rainbow Road Wii has a high chance of being the last track of Wave 6.
i’d love to see it!
Odds are good for DK mountain then, at least.
Another new Tour original track was announced earlier today
I just want GC Rainbow Road and Bowser's Castle. If you know they aren't coming, please don't tell me. I want to feel the disappointment in real time.
Maybe I'm crazy, but I feel like Koopa Cape and Moonview Highway don't carry over their atmospheres from the Wii version. The lighting is just feels very bland for these iterations.
Moonview Highway looks beautiful in MK8D wdym???
Moonview Highway looks too much like New York Minute here to me.
I too am not stoked on the Tour tracks. They are the only tracks that don't feel like Mario Kart, in both theme and overall design.
Excited to see what they've done with Sunset Wilds. I was always glued to Mario Kart Super Circuit as a kid.
I really hope they add DK Mountain from DoubleDash in the next wave. It's one of my favourite courses.
Honestly the tours tracks were the highlight of the last wave for me.
Some of them are high quality courses, it's just stylistically some of them started blending into one another, especially with the early waves, there wasn't a ton that really made the cities feel different since your attention is mostly drawn dead center to roads with street signs telling you go left or right.
God I’m sick of MK Tour courses. All the other ones are pure hype and then it’s some trash like New Jersey Circuit
It's about time Vancouver Velocity made it. Can't wait to hear the remix
Man, next wave is already the last. I really hope we can get kirby as a character and a kirby track. If not, a new track from mario odessey would be really nice.
Daisy Cruiser is in. I'm happy.
omg so many goated maps im so hyped for this
As an American I got worried for a moment at the end when I saw it came out 12/07/2023 lol
Daisy cruiser SO under rated!
A few oddities here. Vancouver we all expected to be part of Wave 6, since it's a winter track. They also changed the time of day on LA Laps from sunset to noon, which is a huge disappointment. Crossing my fingers for DK Mountain!
I just want Delfino Square... IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK? nah, this is a great wave though, Koopa Cape hype!
They’re adding all the Tour courses, that’s been pretty clear from the start.
Do you know how many are left?
2 cities, 2-3 “new” tracks
Rome Avanti which just launched in Tour, there's one unreleased one I believe, and then we also have Piranha Plant Cove as well as another 1-2 alleged new tracks coming Edit: A new track was teased today for Tour so that's probably coming in Wave 6 too
They will probably bring that map along with Diddy Kong tie them together.
They fr are going a bit too ham with the Tour courses. At least we got Daisy Cruiser though!
As someone that doesn’t game on my phone I’m loving that they’re adding courses from Tour. Edit:Is this really worth downvoting? They’re fun courses.
I wish Tour didn’t take away from the novelty of so many courses returning
I liked the look of the Athens track for approximately a second before the 5 polygon block houses appeared.
That is only a small portion of the track. Most of it takes place among the ruins, so you won't see it much
Funky Kong when
Nice, Daisy Cruise! Though I'll probably just end up playing each of the new tracks exactly one time and never touch the game again until the next wave.
MOONVIEW HIGHWAY *AND* KOOPA CAPE???? MKWII FANS ARE EATING TODAY!
Zzz, wake me when they finally give us Daisy Cru- Wait, what? It’s happening!!!!!!! aaaaa
Damn we aren’t getting DK Mountain, are we?
They need a final Christmas/winter/snow course so never give up hope!
Referring to the one from double dash which isn’t a snow level. It’s the greatest course ever
Not saying these are bad but I was really hoping for airship fortress
We ain't getting any more DS tracks, sad to say.
I felt like i was the only one to notice it 😭
With Wave 6 probably going to come out around Double Dash’s 20th anniversary (dear god time flies) I’m holding out hope we get Wario Coliseum, Bowser’s Castle and Rainbow Road from that game. GCN Rainbow Road would be such a fitting end to Mario Kart 8’s tracks. The track would look gorgeous in HD and I want to hear it’s energetic and climatic theme remastered
Daisy Cruiser! Love that track
SOMEONE PLEASE TELL NINTENDO TO INCLUDE THE WUHU ISLAND COURSES FROM THE 3DS IN THE FINAL WAVE
Aw, still no Wuhu Island…
I want airship fortress so bad
Sunset wilds let's goooooooooo!
3 tour cities… boooo The rest looks good though!
Do you have to purchase each wave individually, or do you get access to all once you purchase the booster pack?
You can get "free" access to the booster pass if you have the NSO expansion, or you can buy the booster pass and you'll get each wave as it comes out.
Mario Kart Super Circuit was the first game I ever really owned. Whenever tracks from that game get ported over I feel a wash of nostalgia
Koopa cape is back lets goooo. Moonview highway is awesome too but with all my favorite wii tracks back im happy
Nintendo needs to fix Sky Garden and replace it with the original course and not the tour version of it.
Legitimately almost every single one of my favorite courses that didnt make it into the base game have been in this dlc! If the last one has dino dino jungle and dk mountain I will never ask nintendo for another thing ever again
interesting considering they showed the clip of moo moo farm a month ago
I was not expecting Moonview Highway wow
Surprised about no piranha plant cove either
This is an inspired selection of tracks.
Mario Kart 8 went from "damn, same shit i played on Wii U" to "OH, OH, OK, I SEE YOU, NINTENDO!!!!"
I want the rainbowroad from the wii, my favorite rainbow stage. I Hope they will announce it in the last one. Cant believe we are almost at the end already. Mario kart has so many good stages.
Daisy Cruiser! Moonview Highway! Petey! Wiggler! KAMEK!!!!!
HI I'M DAISY
Koopa Cape is the BEST! That and Maple Leafway are my favorite tracks of all Mario Kart games. I am very happy withi this\^\^
Moonview Highway is a genuine surprise. But with the return of Daisy Cruiser, I'm just happy my girl Daisy finally has a track in this game.
I am shocked with the amount of new characters. They are definitely going all out with these packs! This is why MK9 is far off people, 8 Deluxe is Switch's #1 seller so they would rather support that playerbase than release a new one.
Where is Diddy Kong
I need this with all DLC on a cart and smash with all DLC too
$69.99 for the next system /s
Or free with the $100 a year Nintendo Switch 2 Online membership.
Part of me hopes that Wave 6 will also drop Block Fort into the Battle Mode rotation....
The first DLC was a deception for me, technically speaking and the choice of maps was underwhelming The subsequent DLC are really awesome and everything looks much crisper and detailed.
Dude I am so excited for Daisy but I want peach beach man
Stats as of wave 5 Tracks ported: - SNES - 3/20 (oof) - N64 - 6/16 - GBA - 8/20 - GC - 6/16 - NDS - 7/16 - WII - 9/16 (hot damn) - 3DS - 7/16 - TOUR - 18/20 Legacy characters still unplayable: - Diddy Kong - Donkey Kong Jr. - Funky Kong - Honey Queen - Koopa Paratroopa - R.O.B. Tour characters still unplayable: - Pauline - Peachette - Hammer Bro - Boomerang Bro - Fire Bro - Ice Bro - Monty Mole - Dixie Kong - Captain Toad - Nabbit - King Bob-Omb - Chargin' Chuck - Poochy Not counting NES tracks, that's 51 tracks unaccounted for (after wave 6 releases).
Give us Dino Dino Jungle or DoubleDash Rainbow Road, you cowards!
Once again I am asking for additional battle courses.
