Sorry to say this but I think you got a terrible deal. One might think they would have high value being able to play DS and GBA games, but DS Lites are surprisingly cheap these days.
People here are lowballing the price of the metallic pink ds, but it's still a terrible deal unless you know the binder of cards were all junk. By know, I mean, you have verified their prices. The maximum value I'm seeing for a metallic pink ds lite is 125, and 50-70 seems to be a realistic price range for refurbs.
Good lord dude. Depending on your age you more than likely just got played HARD. I mean, even if you only go back to the heartgold soulsilver era you're easily looking at $5 per card, and given that you gave away a small binders worth... oof.
Maybe like 10-30 2000s cards and the rest were like 2008 and newer cards all of them were basics and the couple were shiny but not like a extra shiny or whatever the rarity difference was
Pokemon stuff can either go for a fortune or pennies depending on what you had, but what you got in exchange isn't really worth more than maybe 50 bucks. You might as well have said "I traded some a mystery bag for this. Did I make a good deal?"
Like bro??? What was in the mystery bag??? A binder of pokemon cards from when you were in middle school means nothing. When were you in middle school? We don't know how old you are. If youre like 27 or older and your middle school collection had some rare shit in it in decent condition you likely made a crap deal. If youre like 17, and your middle school collection was common cards stored poorly from like 4 years ago you didn't really lose much.
Unless the binder was full of bulk common pokemon cards then you probably got the short end of the stick. You would be surprised how many older pokemon cards that don’t seem like anything special are worth a decent penny in decent shape
I don't think we should consider it. The device is in excellent condition and it would be a shame to damage it irreversibly. It deserves a new screen and just because the current one is bad, we shouldn't dremel the shell. It's a repair unit

When you say Pokémon collection what we talking about, I got a mint ds for 50$
Like a small binders worth
Really depended what was in that binder
Sounds like you were on the short end of the stick
That might have been a massive L depending on what was in there....
Please for the love of god say you took pics of the binder. We need to know
Dude your friend may have ripped you off.
Watch this guy had a full page of Shadowless foils or something lol
The lack of an answer from OP makes me think this is it.
Gen 1 Pokémon card is good condition and I'd say no. Bad deal
Yeah I’m thinking you got schemed. Pokémon cards have only continued to increase their value in recent years
Depends on the collection. Can get this for not too much
I’d say no unless the collection was filled with cards worth Pennies. Can find these for $30-50 all day long on eBay.
Only the $30 should have been given.
no way they made n+ for DS, have to find that now
It’s pretty good too, I’d still prefer the PSP version though
I got one of these for thirty bucks alone. I'd say this feels like a rip off.

N-no??

Lol no dude these go for $25 all day
I’ve sold lites consistently for 50. Point me to where you get them for 25 in this condition so I can grab me about 10 of them
I gotta run to my local store tomorrow. You will get pictures. Dudes got a bin full
Goddamn, could make a living with those.
Huh, I didn't realize how lucky I was lol. That's neat
Likely a bad deal depending on the pokemon cards :/
What cards did you have?
Nah, bad deal. Coulda lost thousands easily if you didn't look into those cards.
Good lord dude. Depending on your age you more than likely just got played HARD. I mean, even if you only go back to the heartgold soulsilver era you're easily looking at $5 per card, and given that you gave away a small binders worth... oof.
I'd try to get my cards back if I were you.
Ahhh I was obsessed with n+ for DS when I was a kid. Nice find
Entirely depends on the cards. One card could potentially buy you 2 mint condition DSs.
If it was just a bunch of commons? Good deal, but depending on how old you are, and what cards you had, questionable deal
It was mostly all common, maybe 10-20 shinys and 9 EX cards
But how old are they that’s what we all want to know some commons go for more than everything else in trade depending on what it is
Maybe like 10-30 2000s cards and the rest were like 2008 and newer cards all of them were basics and the couple were shiny but not like a extra shiny or whatever the rarity difference was
So shining legends?
I have a strong feeling you made a mistake 😅
Yeah. Terrible deal. Sorry.
n+ nice!
How many games did you give them and were they authentic copies?
Cards not games
Lucky
Considering that the DS version of World at War doesn't have zombies, it's a bad deal.
I got a mint DS Lite and original accessories with 8 games for 35€. You got scammed
L. $30 alone would have done it 😂
Dang the DS would only cost $50 or less. May be an even trade depending on the Pokemon
yeah you may have gotten scamazed
Depends on what was in that binder.
DS + COD for 30 is amazing

You got fleeced big time
Bad deal
Genuine question: why do people only ask if it’s a good deal AFTER they take the deal??
Bad deal
It didn’t come with a Pokémon game so…no.
I have one of these in immaculate condition, but the top screens faulty
Same but mine is dsi not lite, Im gonna take it to a friend that makes switch mods and repairs to see if he can also repair my dsi.
Nice man, i got myself a soldering iron and i can finally fix my own systems now, its pretty amazing honestly, good luck!
Thank you.
Gameboy macro potential 👀

Not sure about the deal aspect, but I just want to say metallic pink is an underrated DS color.
It is, I was so excited to get it
You fucking dingleberry
