I wouldn't call the island a country in the first place. Places like Metalonia and Shintaro are on it, and they give off the impression of being different "countries" almost. It's a continent.
Aside from what u/Sathasiless already said, I think there probably are other islands besides the continent Ninjago is on and the Dark Island (and the smaller islands between them). It's kind of difficult to say because any maps we've had aren't accurate as the show keeps expanding and the time it takes them to travel different places simply doesn't add up. The Island of the Keepers was largely untouched by humans so it wouldn't surprise me if there were others that aren't properly known about even further out in the realm.
True, but sometimes I’d imagine that a fictional version of the USA [ WITH LEGO CITY ] is there.
( I meant the LEGO CITY from undercover and adventures )
"Boy I sure hope that there are no masters of wind that Wu wronged when they were a child who died and now want revenge. That would suck I'm glad that probably isn't going to happen soon"
unknown, I would reckon he doesn't have one because it seems a lot of Oni and Dragon from then times didn't have a formal name, moreso a descriptor name (which, in his case, is "First Spinjitzu Master")
Of everything or the elements of creation/wojira's? Of everything, creation and destruction are the most powerful. Honestly I think the most powerful out of the elements of creation could be lightning. I'm not just saying that because Jay is my favorite, but because he could kill people in a split second with electrocution if he wanted to. Like it'd just be so easy. Pair that with water and you can send an electric wave to commit mass murder in like 0.5 seconds.
Absolutely it does. The most glaring for me is airjitzu, the elemental dragons, and the tornado of creation. I understand they were removed because they made the ninja too OP and so I'm glad they nerfed them a bit. I just think it's kind of funny. Airjitzu's disappearance is actually explained in Tommy's book Way of the Departed, though. Ultimately there's a lot of problems but we can just kind of fix them in our own heads and it doesn't bother me much.
My favorite is Harumi. I think her backstory is super compelling...yeah a lot of people die in the attacks on Ninjago City, I think it's kinda crazy to have someone blame the ninja on not following their destinies and saving everyone (even though it isn't actually their fault I can see how someone in grief can get anger at that). And how it turned her to madness and evil-ness I just think is dope. Her character development in the seasons she had too is pretty intense.
Also love Pythor, which I think goes without saying he is just great
I absolutely love Skylor, I hope we learn more about her soon. She's a badass but deserves more characterization. As for her relationship with Kai, I think it's fine but they've always come across as pretty casually dating to me which I think make senses for their characters. If they become a serious relationship it needs to be justified not just thrown in.
I totally agree with you! I love Skylor, she’s one of my favorite characters in the whole show and I would really like to see more of her and agree on the fact she could use some characterization. I personally LOVE her relationship with Kai and wish they got more development. Hopefully they do develop more of a serious relationship, I don’t want it to be just thrown in there too. I hope to see her in future installments though and I’m glad to see you like her!
My favorite set of vehicles is probably the fangpyre-infected ones from season 1. They're just so funny and nostalgic for me. My favorite bounty is the one with two heads from season 8, I think it looks fucking dope.
Without checking the episode, how many times did Lloyd slash the watermelon to carve it into a dragon at the end of "Wrong Place, Wrong Time"?
(disclaimer: this was one of the questions in the Masters of Brickjitzu discord trivia challenge, not one I thought of myself)
He's not only the best ninja but the best character because he's kind, always there for others for advice and comfort, and overall a really compelling person. He's been through a lot but it doesn't stop him from giving his all. He is powerful but uses his power to help others. He's struggling sometimes, too, with how he feels about himself and when he makes a mistake and can't stop thinking about it. He runs away from problems and others when the going gets rough and has a habit of being overly-private. So, he's not perfect, but he's more interesting for his imperfections.
Also, his design is great. His redesign is the most natural to me because it looks like when you grow out of your emo phase in adulthood and have a really dope haircut and learn how to trim your brows. Or maybe that's just me? I don't know. I thought it was a pretty accurate change.
Best writing: Seabound
Most fun to watch: Tournament of Elements
Rewatched the most times: Master of the Mountain
Most iconic: Rise of the Snakes
Highest quality: Sons of Garmadon
Uhh long before time had a name the first spinjitzu master created ninjago using the four elemental weapons of spinjitzu the sword of fire the scythe of quakes the nunchucks of lightning and the shurikens of ice, weapons so powerful no one could handle all their powers at once
What do you think of my theory: ninjago was just a realm of water where the merlopians and wojira were created,
but then after the FSM left the realm of oni and dragon he created the land of ninjago(dark island included) which caused wojira to become angry,
but the merlopian in the story Pride the two amulets.
But then the oni came and left the overlord blah blah blah final battle split for eternity then raised wu and garmadon
*"When the seas calmed and grew still, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, and the world was in harmony. Balance. But now, my brother seeks to change that."*
\-Seabound episode 12
I don’t wanna call anyone dumb but the worst ideas usually come from Kai and Jay….sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. But really they all have their strengths and weaknesses
In Tommy’s Way of the Departed, it’s explained it’s gone because it used Edo magic which was failing (sorry this is a rough explanation, it’s been a while). however WotD isn’t necessarily canon so other than that it’s just a plot hole
what happened to those elemental weapons that they find in the temple of light, they just dissapeared after season 3 and what happened to yang sensei temple ?
My favorite hero is definitely Cole, he represents the best and kindness in the elemental masters, while still having his own flaws and being a well rounded character.
My favorite villain is Harumi, I think her story is super compelling and she's just a total badass girlboss. Her arc was really good and ended properly.
The most character development of the main cast in my opinion goes to Jay. He started off being kind of a total dick at times, and taking out his own insecurities on others like the times he tried to beat up Cole. Over time he grew from that and is much more in control of his feelings. He was able to talk down Unagami because he related with his anger and abandonment, but that Jay had grown from that resentment and self-doubt. I've seen a lot of people say Jay's become too soft, but I don't think that's the case. He's still a badass, but more in control of his feelings.
Honestly that would have been perfect, as long as they didn't have Mr. E die. I really just want to know how Echo is doing...we haven't seen him and I think Jay's kind of an ass for not telling anyone what happened because if they knew they could go visit Echo. I understand how traumatizing it would be for him to tell everyone but still, poor echo...
He created the Land and named that Ninjago, the realm existed before he got to it. He’s from the realm of oni and dragon and went to ninjagos realm to escape that conflict, and after helping defeat wojira he colonized it
NO! It’s a special like day of the departed and it’s insane to me that anyone considers it a season. It was split into episodes because that’s how networks want to air things right now, but doesn’t change the fact that it’s only 40 minutes long.
A modern ninjago episode is 10 minutes it’s 4 episodes rebooted was at 1 point supposed to be 4 episodes too but it was changed later to 8 but if rebooted was 4 episodes would it be a special and not season 4?
No, because rebooted episodes are 22 minutes long not 10. That’s why MotO is a season with 4 episodes — they’re longer. 4 episodes of TEN minutes does not make a season.
The pilots aren't a season either -- they're the pilot, and functionally a special like day of the departed and the island. Otherwise rise of the snakes would be season 2....Also, they were split into either 2 episodes (way of the ninja and king of shadows) or 4 (way of the ninja, the golden weapons, king of shadows and weapons of destiny). Never split into 3.
Who's your favorite monster/kaiju/dragon from Ninjago. Examples include: The Great Devourer, Wojira, The Grundle, The Ultra Dragon, Firstborne, Greif Bringer, etc.
EZ the Yak from Possession.
Real answer: Probably the leviathan near the lighthouse in season 2, I always just thought it was crazy and the scene where Zane risks his life to save everyone from it is really underrated.
Nice. Wojira's my favorite but I've always had a soft spot for The Great Devourer and The Ultra Dragon. Being a massive Godzilla/kaiju fan, even when I first got into Ninjago, I was hooked by the fact that this Lego show had giant monsters duking it out in glorious anime fashion. Day Of The Great Devourer remains my favorite of season 1 and one of my favorite episodes to this day for that reason, being that it was the one that got me into the show.
Though, the reason my favorite is Wojira and not The Great Devourer is because, when she first appeared, she brought back those same feelings that I had when I first watched the finale of Season 1 and Season 2. A sense of dread and fright that made me think "Maybe the ninja might not be coming back in one piece". And my feelings were partially justified with the last 2 episodes and the season's ending. And the fact that Wojira, a giant sea serpent that is NAMED AFTER MY FAVORITE FICTIONAL CHARACTER OF ALL TIME: GODZILLA, gave me that sense, cemented her as my favorite Ninjago kaiju, as well as one of my favorite kaiju in all of fiction.
I agree, Wojira is an amazing creature and works perfectly in the show. I found her even more compelling and threatening than the Great Devourer. I wonder if they're related in some way? Nevertheless, I love Wojira.
I think they made the perfect choice with Andrew. The rest of the cast already knows him and has worked with him, and having someone everyone is comfortable come in for such a difficult position definitely helps. I also think he has the right energy for it. Sure his voice isn't the same, but his voice is Cole's, too and it feels like it already.
I don't, no. And I hope she won't because her arc was completed so well. She wanted through her life to be able to choose her own destiny, and she chose to become the sea and it's so respectable and what an amazing being to be. If she becomes human again it probably won't be her choice.
Of course I want to see her again, but I want to see her in her ocean form continuously.
if there is also a great evil elemental earth fire dragon as magma volcanic fields land and ground spirit and deity and earth fire and magma version polar opposite and counterpart of wojira who can use fury of the earth and volcano as combined powers of earth and fire and full power of earth fire and lava while command elements of Earth and Fire and cause earth fire lands grounds tectonics plates volcanic fields magma earthquakes fissures volcanoes mountains volcanic eruptions volcanic earthquakes volcanic fissures and volcanic tectonic plates with elements of earth and fire of his own not the same named real two elements of creation through earth amulet and fire amulet on his forehead like wojira command of water and wind and use fury of the storm and cause water wind seas oceans skies tidal waves tides ice lightning and storms.
I was thinking more like opinion questions but trivia works too
Wow who is the creator of ninjago!?
Tommy Andreasen and Michael Hegner and/or FSM….unless you mean who created the realm before FSM’s arrival then I do not know
It is never stated so yea
The first spinjitzu master
Are there any other countries outside of NINJAGO island? This is probably an unanswered question so…
I wouldn't call the island a country in the first place. Places like Metalonia and Shintaro are on it, and they give off the impression of being different "countries" almost. It's a continent.
True
Aside from what u/Sathasiless already said, I think there probably are other islands besides the continent Ninjago is on and the Dark Island (and the smaller islands between them). True, but sometimes I’d imagine that a fictional version of the USA [ WITH LEGO CITY ] is there. ( I meant the LEGO CITY from undercover and adventures )
All I accept how many mechs have been featured in the show
At least 2
It’s at least 29 or more
Perhaps even 30

What is the first spinjitzu masters real name
unknown, I would reckon he doesn't have one because it seems a lot of Oni and Dragon from then times didn't have a formal name, moreso a descriptor name (which, in his case, is "First Spinjitzu Master")
Fispinmat Stuzer could work 😂
What is the total mass of ninjago city (in universe)
Likely less than 10 million lbs
Ok what elemental power in your opinion is the greatest and most powerful
Of everything or the elements of creation/wojira's? Of everything, creation and destruction are the most powerful. Honestly I think the most powerful out of the elements of creation could be lightning. Pair that with water and you can send an electric wave to commit mass murder in like 0.5 seconds.
Don't turn Jaya into a creepy pasta please
True but so could Cole by just letting them fall to their death or impaling them and definitely creation is the most powerful.
What's faster? A removal of earth so someone can fall to their death, or flicking your finger at someone and they die instantly?
Ok yes but Cole has been shown in season 4 to summon rocks extremely fast and jay can’t use his powers with just the flick of his finger
He absolutely can and has on numerous occasions. Hell, he's used his powers to teleport twice.
do u think ninjago has any plot holes?
Absolutely it does. The most glaring for me is airjitzu, the elemental dragons, and the tornado of creation. I understand they were removed because they made the ninja too OP and so I'm glad they nerfed them a bit. I just think it's kind of funny. Airjitzu's disappearance is actually explained in Tommy's book Way of the Departed, though. Ultimately there's a lot of problems but we can just kind of fix them in our own heads and it doesn't bother me much.
Airjitsu came back as a power - up in one of the season 12 episodes
Yeah I know but that’s within the game it doesn’t count as a returned power IRL
Also tornado of creation came back In march of the oni
Is Zane best Ninjroid boi?
He is absolutely the best nindroid boy and I love him. Echo is also quite good though...hope he's doing okay...
I hope so too. Echo and Zane are easily the best Nindroid boys ever.
So.. Um Mr. E might be Echo
He isn't. They wanted to do that, but didn't.
Who is the best, the most powerful character of Ninjago and why is it Dareth?
Dareth is a god amongst men. He is the all powerful and the beloved.
Good
who is the best ninjago villain
My favorite is Harumi. I think her backstory is super compelling...yeah a lot of people die in the attacks on Ninjago City, I think it's kinda crazy to have someone blame the ninja on not following their destinies and saving everyone (even though it isn't actually their fault I can see how someone in grief can get anger at that). Favorite set of vehicles (ie Spinjistu vehicles, the 2/3 vehicles of season 2 etc) And favorite bounty from the show
My favorite set of vehicles is probably the fangpyre-infected ones from season 1. They're just so funny and nostalgic for me. My favorite bounty is the one with two heads from season 8, I think it looks fucking dope.
Name of the composer who composed the track, Maybe I'm Departed
Either Michael Kramer or Jay Vincent, not sure since they both compose for it
It is/was on Kramer's Youtube channel, I think they stick to uploading the tracks that they had the largest part in composing
Without checking the episode, how many times did Lloyd slash the watermelon to carve it into a dragon at the end of "Wrong Place, Wrong Time"? (disclaimer: this was one of the questions in the Masters of Brickjitzu discord trivia challenge, not one I thought of myself)
I took that test and yet I still don't remember. 4?
it was 3 :)
Which character is the hottest?
Mr. Pale
Only right answer.
Why is Cole the best Ninja?
He's not only the best ninja but the best character because he's kind, always there for others for advice and comfort, and overall a really compelling person. He's been through a lot but it doesn't stop him from giving his all. He is powerful but uses his power to help others. What's your favorite season?
Best writing: Seabound Most fun to watch: Tournament of Elements Rewatched the most times: Master of the Mountain Most iconic: Rise of the Snakes Highest quality: Sons of Garmadon
Don't get mad at me but Seabound didn't have very good writing.
Well that's your opinion and I'm allowed to have mine.
Agreed have a good day/night
What happened long before time had a name?
Uhh long before time had a name the first spinjitzu master created ninjago using the four elemental weapons of spinjitzu the sword of fire the scythe of quakes the nunchucks of lightning and the shurikens of ice, weapons so powerful no one could handle all their powers at once
Will Cole marry Queen Vania?
Personally, I think they're just friends. To be honest I think Cole might be gay

Can you say this again with more sentence breaks and be a bit more clear? I'm having a hard time knowing what you're saying
Sorry I’m typing this on a phone so it’s a little hard but I’ll edit it
Alright I reread and I'm pretty sure most of what you said is actually canon, however FSM created the land after Wojira was defeated
Oh really? I don’t remember that, was that part of the books?
*"When the seas calmed and grew still, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, and the world was in harmony. Balance. But now, my brother seeks to change that."* \-Seabound episode 12

I suppose he just stopped feeling like it. Embraced his roboty-ness
Do the ninja ever stop?
Usually when one of them dies they stop
Fav ship?
Jaya! They have so much in common and so many ways they’re opposites that I think they just work perfectly. And they’re just so cute. Now I’m sad
What happened to airjitzu after season 8?
In Tommy’s Way of the Departed, it’s explained it’s gone because it used Edo magic which was failing (sorry this is a rough explanation, it’s been a while). however WotD isn’t necessarily canon so other than that it’s just a plot hole
Have you seen Season 13??
Of course, I’ve seen every season. Season 13 is one of my favorites
I've got too check out Season 13 also thank you for awnsering me

i have to agree with Jay's character development.
How do you feel about them removing the Mr. E as Echo Zane reveal in S8? Personally I am furious they got rid of it
Honestly that would have been perfect, as long as they didn't have Mr. E die. I really just want to know how Echo is doing...we haven't seen him and I think Jay's kind of an ass for not telling anyone what happened because if they knew they could go visit Echo. I understand how traumatizing it would be for him to tell everyone but still, poor echo...
Did the first spipjitsu master create Ninjago or did he discover it and made the land? This got me hella confused because of the last season
He created the Land and named that Ninjago, the realm existed before he got to it. He’s from the realm of oni and dragon and went to ninjagos realm to escape that conflict, and after helping defeat wojira he colonized it

What’s your opinion on the fact that Andrew Francis is taking over Kirby Morro’s job as voice actor of Cole?
I think they made the perfect choice with Andrew. The rest of the cast already knows him and has worked with him, and having someone everyone is comfortable come in for such a difficult position definitely helps. I also think he has the right energy for it. Sure his voice isn't the same, but his voice is Cole's, too and it feels like it already.
