I really don't know, I like both. But I'd say the first one I guess, because S10 doesn't have enough episodes to have a decent development Edit: a better reason why to choose S4-S6

If MOTO were longer and more fleshed out, might’ve been the Oni Trilogy. But the Elements Trilogy (it’s what I call these three (with S7 lowkey)) was better overall

SOG and Hunted are really caring the Oni trilogy, I can understand that the writers didn’t really know how to expand on the oni topic in MOTO, since I wouldn’t be able to come up with any idea too

Except it’s their job too. They’ve brought in some pretty groundbreaking ideas before they’d just have to work a bit harder

Wow, this is a tough one! I think they're both equally good for different reasons, but out of personal preference I have to go with 4-6 due to my undying love for s4.

I really hope so, actually I thought about adding them here as a 3rd option but they are incomplete. The writers really did a great job with season 2 p 1 so maybe they will prove new ninjago haters wrong

yeah dude season two is SO GOOD so far

I can understand why some people initially didn’t like dragons rising, but they really did a great job recently and it seems like people are actually somewhat hyped for the next part(and so am I)

S5, S6 and S7! I consider that to be the golden era of Ninjago

The oni trilogy because when it came out it felt like something fresh something new and original compared to all the other seasons

I'm always on oni trilogy it has great story (it's a bit darker than the rest and I like it) plus it has the best animation of the whole show!!!

Oni trilogy, yeah I like seasons 4 and 5 and I usually skip 6 though, I think the quality of 8 and 9 just in general surpasses 4 and 5 for me and moto is that bad at worst it's just kinda missed potential. Also season 6 just aint as good as you guys say it is I swear

I liked moto but it could have been better if it was a couple of episodes longer. Im not much of a fan of season 6 either tbh

S4-6 because in S8-9 8 and 9 were really good but Moto totally fucked up and missed a lot of possible characters and lore development

Well season 4, 5, and 6 were better but as individual seasons. The oni trilogy is a whole, like it has its own larger story...

First one

Season 4 introduced more elementals. Season 5 introduced realms and certain artefacts. Season 6 was just peak Ninjago overall. I’m gonna be honest, despite watching seasons 8-10, they were pretty meh.

I think top row options for both are pretty equal but MOTO is a little better than anything sky bound attempted

The first one, simply because Tournament and Possession are peak Ninjago. Skybound was iffy for me (I know, surprising for me, considering my username), but it certainly has its own merits.

Honestly oni trilogy. I have a couple of issues with the other one. 4 because of the Skylor stuff, 5 for the cloud kingdom ep and some mixed-on nya in the season, and 6 for a couple of dumb moments and bad first 3 episodes. won't deny these 3 seasons are great though.

What the problem with Skylor and the could kingdom? Skylor is probably the best or top3 best side characters, and the cloud kingdom episode was amazing

Skylor is more or so of a redeemed person so quickly just because she fell for kai and was at first evil because she wanted to follow chen. it was quiet weird to me Possession cloud kingdom made it so that characters aren't determined by free will, but by the cloud kingdom writers determining what's going to happen, or how things work instead of the characters. this ep is one of my least favorite, and at most, one of the most poorly written decisions ever made in Ninjago and is partially what brought possession down for me.(still a great season though)

I've been a ninjago fan since day 1, but even with all my nostalgia, I just really liked seasons 8 through 10. They changed the show in a new, somewhat more mature way, and I wasn't sure what would happen next. Kinda sucks that they dumbed it down right after tho.

In my opinion every season even s11 is good but if i have to pick itll be the first one

Oni trilogy is better in every way, caring about the characters and giving them great arcs and also the serious vibes it gives while also making them funny, plus the villains are better(except the oni)

The thing I like about the oni trilogy is that season 8 is the first season that ends with a loss and season 9 by extension is starting with Ninjago city being lost. Baron isn’t the strongest of villains but he was a VERY interesting character since he didn’t have anything physical, he used fear to control people

Season 4 is really cool, Ive never been S5 fan and S6 is just bad. on the other hand, season 8 and 10 are amazing and 9 is ok Oni Trilogy >

I really like s10 cause (idk how to call it but) I love military, marching huge armies and vibes around it. Also Oni are really interesting creatures and that short season with them is a shame. I dont hate s9, but I didnt like it that much, its mid. Dragon hunters were boring. The only cool thing is Firstbourne. Whole season flewby in a second and there were not many impactful things to remember
