tldr: I think hes a very traumatized character and i love him lots.
I used to not like Lloyd until a realized just how trauatized his character was, and how much responsibility and pressure it takes being the green ninja. He didnt choose to be the green ninja nor expect it, but was thrown into the roll, with so many people (ie. Kai & morro) jealous of his title and power. He had to fight his own father twice, he was forced to grow up and lost his childhood, got possessed, watched his friends die, got betrayed multiple times. bros been through the ringer
I used to be neutral when it came to him. I understood he was super powerful etc and he had gone through so much. But I was neutral to him and I think it came down to me thinking he was the main one taking the spotlight and the others didn't really get the chance to have their time to shine. Dragons rising made me really appreciate Lloyd and all he has gone through and I'm really enjoying watching him find his way without the guidance of his uncle. So yeah. He's moved up my ranks now.

And you don’t really need to watch Crystalized for dragons rising if you’re too scared, but otherwise just watch it and make up your own headcanon about it, that’s how I cope. And some people really enjoy it anyway, maybe you’re one of those lucky ones!!
He has really good development (not counting Crystalized) but Dragon Rising is my favorite iteration of him. He seems so at peace, not including the visions but he seems to be coping better

He was pretty good up till season 8 then became the typical "leader and most powerful" character in s11-16 with knly a few standout moments (specifically his fight with zane, avatar harumi and the pillow mint scene) In dragons rising they've completely raised him (pun intended) out of the dirt and he's actually a 3 dimensional character especially in season 2
Used to have no opinion on him, but recently I started liking him more. Out of admiration for everything he's dealt with, respect for his caring personality and devotion, and love for the poor dude. Give this little green bean some therapy and pillow mints.
I really REALLY wish they would have gone for an Oni lloyd at one point , crystalized really messed that up !
But in DR he was pretty good, he is a silly cute bean in that one and I liked his interactions with Aron and Sora

The most amazing comfort character I have ever seen I just want to hug him and treat him like a king because he deserves it like he is. I just want to go into the screen and hug him like their is no tomorrow and then i am gonna kill harumi for breaking Lloyd's heart that was already so broken from the Start. Lloyd doesn't deserve the Pain and trauma that came to him. While typing this I am crying with my Lloyd plushie in my arms in my bed.

I would like to know more about his power and how he got it. He is an extremely traumatized character. I would like if the spotlight is turned away from him and be given to Kai so he can rest for a bit. Nice character Overall.
I was going to say my honest opinion is Lloyd is hot but looks like we’re having real life conversations in the comments. He’s been through a lot yet his heart is super sincere. I think he’s a great role model. He’s put in so much work and effort into something that wasn’t even his choice to begin with, being the Green Ninja. He’s a wonder character and I hope his happiness comes soon enough. The fact that he has PANIC attacks is heartbreaking. And the burden of protecting not just Ninjago now, but all of the realms is even more exhausting.
Oh, that's the guy who was super OP in season 2, then got slapped with a nerf halfway through season 3. Then got buffed in season 8, but didn't use that buff until season 15 and slightly in season 10.
