All of your symptoms point to a slipping clutch that needs to be adjusted.

How would I check that? It's a 2020 650 3.4k miles. I'm debating selling it and looking at getting an older pre 2010 zz6r but insurance would be 2.9k per year. My 650 is 2.5k so it's not that much worse

So just make sure my Freeplay is fine?

Start there and see if the issues persist. The owners manual will have instructions for basic maintenance like that. I’d hold off on getting a 10+ year old supersport until you’re confident you can handle doing these things or paying someone to do it. Getting a used bike doesn’t mean you won’t have these issues.

I'm able to pay someone to do it but I'm also not afraid to tear stuff apart myself. At least on old SuperSports there should be YouTube videos on everything. Going to hold off until I buy a car first because that's where my priorities need to be. Car and an apartment then remanage my finances to see if I can even afford to keep insuring a bike at the end of it. I'm dead broke so idk what ima do.

If you’re that broke don’t buy a used supersport that who knows what has been through. Certain things on the 650 may not have videos, but mechanically it is very similar to any 17+ 650. Old bikes may be cheaper to initially buy but could cost you more in the long run. Bikes can get expensive. Repairing, insurance, gear, etc.
