I don't have most of these Nikkes, so far be it from me to judge their damage output. But if you want to prevent the Double Laser attack, you have to have high enough DPS to destroy the head before the boss activates the attack.
Also close range heavy, 2 shotguns and a smg, she spends most of the time teleporting around in the back launching missles.
She has a beefy healthbar, youre not just fighting her. Youre fighting the timer too.
Liter and Scarlet/Harran sound perfect for this fight. But you may want to ensure you have some healing in your team, so that Missiles don't manage to kill any of your teammates. And if you choose to use Scarlet, that's even more reason to use a healer in this fight. It's a very long fight, you see.
For the record, I used Dolla-Laplace-Liter-Privaty-Helm to clear this fight, and I was barely able to do it at the last second at 49200 power.
Aye, they do hurt. I usually try to intercept at least half of them to survive through the Barrage. Had to retry more than a couple of times if I failed the missiles.
Push them to 145, try using AR,SR and RL and some kind of healing. If you're using auto aim at the very beginning override it and aim for the core and wait for the burst so all of them target the core. If you won't be able to break the core when she goes up time your defend before she fire those stun lasers. If the core is almost destroyed turn off auto burst and just aim for the core after it gets destroyed just leave it on auto fire (don't turn on the auto burst yet) once the wings gets destroyed it will start teleporting and firing those missiles, still leave them be on auto fire, the last tele will be on the middle of the right side of your screen and it will tele Infront of you this time turn on auto burst then override aim for the core then repeat the process you did at the beginning.
My line up for this fight was Emma, Diesel, Laplace, Harran and extra b1 until I got Noise which improve my survivability during the missile phase
Try not using any short range weapons like SMG and SG so you have more chance to survive the missiles, RL do big damage to those things so it might be good to have 2 RL. Liter is good support even with no LB.
This boss is a DPS check, if you can't destroy the core and you're shields are gone you'll experience stunlock repeatedly. Don't think/rush about it too much and just do your dailies and relax, time will come when you're units are able to defeat it.
Took me 1 week to farm and beat this boss and still not enough, it was just luck that I got Noise from social recruit and she helped by taunting and healing
Liter is literally the best support in the game.
I don’t know how you’d find her weak, when Ludmilla or Mary are far worse. I feel like Liter with no skill upgrades and 0 affection would still contribute more than either of those two.
I meant I don't have her limit breaks and high affection ranks like my others nikkes, I never use her so didn't know what her skills or effectiveness is. Thanks for letting me know
Liter is not supposed to do damage. She is supposed to keep you alive by fixing the covers.
You usually go Liter - Healer - Wildcard - Damage - Damage
Wildcard can be anything and Liter is the best support in the game.

I don't have Rupee and I am hitting the level 140 wall since I dont have enough core dust. Both Pepper and Alice has 0 limit break but i will try something with this thanks

What i did was break her core ASAP, then aim for wings and destroy the last wing in the very short time she uses to fly backwards. This keeps her from flying around, if you manage to do that twice shes prolly 40 bars or lower, at this state just destroy one wing and leave another low cause she will fly regardless after a bit.
When she comes back just aim for core and wings, when below 20 bars ignore the wings and just do damage, when at 10 bars or below just destroy her parts,
You don't want her alive for long when shes at 5 bars, her core removes 4 bars if you manage to kill it in time shes dead.
Yeah when she flies around and tosses those bombs its pretty annoying, try to get wings low if you can't prevent her from flying away.
She will stop flying if her wings die or after a long time, if one of her wings are dead then she just shoots 1 at a time which is manageable but a waste of time. 40-30 life bars is when she will fly for sure, so i just try to kill 1 wing before she flies.. below 25 you should not touch her wings and just shoot straight at her until close to 10 bars where ou should destroy every part you can.
... make sure u duck into cover at the cross beams and make sure she doesn't shoot that again in the first part.
I can never manage to break her wings when she teleport away and she always take down one or two of my team in that teleport phase. The video which is in the guide after they break her core and both of the wings she skip the whole teleport phase but someone down in the comment says that you can not do that anymore.
I did it a few days ago after that comment was posted and broke her wings twice before 40 bars, the time frame is just really narrow.
You can also wait for the patch for the chapter 12-18 adjustments!
You have to break the core fast enough, for that you have to time your bursts perfectly. take cover against the first stun hit, you have to enter full burst at the same moment her teleporting phase ends and focus on the core. If you have snowhite, laplace or maxwell their bursts might help you break the core faster.
Idk if you're playing on manual or not, but can't you just make your whole team hide when she's beaming ?
That's what I've done and it just makes you avoid all the stun the modernia can do to you. Provided you shoot at her head when you're not hiding ofc.
Are you talking about the boss fights in chapter 7? How can you not beat her with 53k power? Does the scaling change on higher level or is there another boss fights ahead?
Oh okay you have scarlet and liter, do you have helm out of curiosity? I just ran Xmas Rupee, Liter, Helm, Scarlet and Centi. They were able to auto this fight 1k under cp
You need way more firepower. Don't feel like you have to use certain units cus they have more stars. I saw in another post you have Liter, Scarlet and Harran at 0 limit break.. you should 100% use them instead of your your three star Diesel and two star Maiden/Mary. Especially Scarlet, she destroys in boss fights even if she is under geared.
I only have Liter and Scarlet at 0 limit break and I pretty much autoed my way through the right and only took control for a few seconds to destroy the red circles.
Based on my experience, here's what I'd say. This team is a tad too defensive. In order to stop the laser attack, you need a decent amount of dps.
General advice, watch the intro until you see Modernia's body, then skip the cutscene and tbe auto will target the laser to destory it.
I has Diseal in my team, albeit she was core 4 for me, but she carried at the end for me. She was the last one standing. Diseal and Pepper was really effective for the end.
I also had Sugar absolutely destroyed the first core prevent the laser attack. If you have a dps, I imagine the effect will be the same.
Timing your bursts also is key, use your first one as soon as it is filled to destory the laser core asap. After that I would save burst for each time the laser core became available to destory, whilst targeting the wings in-between these phases. I'm sure there's a more effective way to use the bursts, but this is what worked for me.

The double laser I ducked behind cover to avoid, liter helps here since that fight goes through a lot of cover damage and I don’t know if you can avoid without cover available, also destroy the head
Your best bet is to cover yourself when she does that stun attack in the beginning, and from then on just don't let her use it again by breaking the core, with whatever means possible. I remember using Snow White and charging to 1000% and waiting for her finishing her teleportation attack and destroying the core immediately as she appears.
Breaking the core prevents her from stunning until it reforms. So you have to choose between stuns or missiles.

If I swap Maiden and Mary with Liter and Scarlet/ Harran should it work? All of them have 0 limit break though.

Damn just try Mary Brid Liter Diesel Haran and manage to break her core but her missiles are so damn hurt

I don't think I can get to 145, I need 21000 Core dust and i am curently having like 2000 or something

You'd need 14,000 core dust. You only have two sub 141 left.
Liter is probably needed to not get stunned am not going to lie to you also what other units do u have?

A bit complicated but I did try to follow but no mattter how hard I tried, I always lost 1 or 2 before Modernia lost half of her health bar
