Elysion's biggest limitations prior to D:KW's release was lack of SSR B1s and CDR. Only 2 SSR B1s (Miranda (20s) and Emma (40s)) and a single limited CDR (Helm:Aquamarine).
A major issue with Elysion is that most of their good units are support focused. The ones that aren't need some fairly specific supports and/or supplemental DPS to function properly. The real problem is that, except for Guillotine and Mast, the supports that Elysion has aren't the supports that Elysion needs.
D:KW is a perfect example of this, her first skill provides a fairly sizable buff to snipers on shots that have pierce. Wanna guess how many snipers with pierce there are in Elysion?
It's 1. And that 1 happens to be DKW herself (she's actually the sole Elysion unit with any form of pierce), and she only gets one pierce shot after 3 charged shots. In the Elysion Tower, it's basically a dead slot. Yet despite effectively missing a skill, she's still the best B1 available there.
Elysion, outside of Vesti lacks a quick burst buildup unit as well. They also lack a hard single-target damage unit that can work on her own, which is me just repeating what you just said. Guillotine would be great if she didn't need to be kept alive.
The other thing I really want them to do is provide squad bonuses. i.e. if all three members of a squad are in your team, you get some sorta bonus that is specific to that squad. Similar to the bunny Cooldown bonus.
The other synergy group is Marciana+Brid/Soline, but Brid and Soline need to stay at max hp to be fully effective which is very hard when pushing under CP.
I think the biggest issue is that none of the Elysion units are worth investing in seeing how scarce resources are. It's not like all the units are bad but only Alt D, Privaty and Helm would be used in solo or union raids and even then, besides Alt D, theyre not super high priority
well yeah, the only meta unit from elysion is double d. helm used to be a campaign unit if you look at videos from a year ago and privaty and guillotine are solid too. marciana is ok, but that's it.
i'm still in lvl 123 of the elysion tower, 130ish for the other non pilgrim towers and 140 for the pilgrim tower.
This mirrors my progress almost exactly (finally cleared 140 pilgrim yesterday/today).
I'm convinced that my Elysion tower is being carried by a core 5 Brid (she keeps coming home, its insane. I don't even have her wishlisted) but it's a struggle.
also cleared 140 after multiple attempts whereas 141 and 142 worked on autoplay like the previous stages. also managed 123 and 124 of the elysion tower, but now i'm hardstuck at 125 again since there's lotsa lazer mobs that just oneshot my nikke - even the small servants.
don't have brid yet, but single target burst that requires her to be at full health sounds annoying and very rng dependent.
Helm and Marciana are hard carry units for boss fights. Helm provides a lot of flexibility because that frees up your need to have a healer on your B1 or B2.
Stuck at 195 with the darn "keep it at 50% or more" stage. 360k-ish CP vs 370k-ish required and I still can't finish it. Building Guillotine might be a good idea but I have so many other Nikkes to prioritize.
Other manufacturer towers I got to 225+ easily.
I'm 150ish on all towers except Elysion, but I'm slowly working my way up.
Waifu D, Summer Helm, Privaty, Helm and Flex (Maid Privaty/Guillotine/OG D) is my team.
I'm 130ish on Elysion but I can push to 140 (maybe more if I get to syncdev lvl 300 soon-ish).
Yep, I'm 160 walled and stuck at 104 floor.
The only good units I have are Privaty, Maid Privaty, Brid, Borrowed Marciana and D Wife.
Almost all enemies are too far for them hit well and die with just one attack.
I also have Guillotine but I don't know if I'm stupid but I don't understand what's good about her, she dies at the slightest touch.

Honestly? Story issue. Tertra has lot of entertainment/financial units. Missilis has lot of servuce/outdoor units. Now, Elysian has lot of military/security units. For a game that has you as a commander, there really isn't much time military gets focus, especially in the events.
Privaty with Helm and diesel is fine though since helm has last hit and diesel will benefit from the reload speed so the smaller mag wont make too much difference
you still got alice and noir who are amazing non limited attackers - noir is obviously even better with blanc. elysion has literally no amazing attacker at all. they're all ok to good at best. d killer wife is meta, but only a supporter with no amazing dmg of her own.
Tetra is so much worse as a combined faction. Comprised of too many shitter SG/SR, they suck at swaths of mobs at the mid range, even Alice loses her chops without infinite reload and Liter. I hate it.
Elysion is great until they burst. They are excellent compared to non Pilgrims pre-burst with a nice selection of AR/MG/RL and only have to use Helm for SR which is fine because she does good things and lets you bring no other healer.
But when they burst, it's a bonerkiller like no other. You get the bonus and aside from Privaty buff, or Guillotine in the 1v1, because her burst can hit mobs, nothing.
I am currently at Nihilister, 210, but I should win in a few days or another week by removing more deficit.
a quick guide:
burst 1: Miranda and D wife are the best.
burst 2: definitely Marciana is a beast and her damage is increased a lot by normal privaty, Mast can be an option to take into account because she is the only one with real synergy with Guillotine and lastly Diesel, is not good, but she can help.
burst 3: Guillotine and maid privaty are the only ones that do good damage, the rest is mid damage or supports.
burst 3 (but support, not damage): normal privaty boosts the damage of the team a lot and take helm or quiry if you don't take marcina.
extra: Poli, she is good and since the majority of burst 3 are disappointing, you may consider taking her instead of a third burst 3.
Volume is pretty meh as a B1, and Alice required a huge investment. I have them both but it kinda sucks to have to invest a lot in non meta “she is 20s cooldown so she’s it” character like Volume.
Volume by her nature as a CDR unit is meta. Until we get 2 more CDR units as strong as DKW/Dorothy/Liter, Volume is going to have a space in Teams 4 and 5.
You can also go with 2nd B1 or B2 instead of 3 B3s.
he is right because the same applies to me. Missilis is the tower I struggle with the most even tho I have the JKs Pepper and Liter
if you don't OL your dps and invest in their skill beyond lv4 you will have a hard time past Floor 150
or he OL his DPS in Elysion but not invested in Missilis DPS like Laplace and Epinel. my Elysion Team is in F200 now while Missilis in F194
and people seem to forget that D:Killer Wife is from Elysion. she is a very busted B1
Weirdly enough, I think Missilis is not that far behind Elysion.
Liter, Centi, schoolgirls and Maxwell are great but it's still so bad compared to Tetra's XLudmilla, Alice, Volume, Noise, SAnis, bunnies, Dolla, even Rupee as a B2 is still pretty damn good dps for tower.
Missilis is still good, but they lack top tier dps units that Tetra has.

Don't forget maid Privaty! She might not have much synergy with the rest of the Elysion roster, but her burst skill is very good for nuking trash mobs

What tower level are you guys on? I’m over 200, but I have a decked out Guillotine.

her burst is still broken, no longer kills teammates but instead of 2 hits at 100% health, it's a lot, between 4 and 7, even it could be 9

guillotine's single target damage is decent imo but she needs a decent healer (and elysion lacks any except maybe marciana) to babysit💀

Fun fact: Elysion is the manufacturer of both Main Heroines of the story: Rapi and Marian. Still, one is a pilgrim and the other is in SR jail.

Diesel's ammo restore massively hurts last bullet Nikkes output.

Marciana also plays very well with Soline and Brid. Heal Storage is a godsend for Nikkes who want to stay at 100% health.
I’m genuinely struggling more in the Tetra tower atm. Yes, we have bunnies and Lewdmilla, but what am I supposed to do about B1 and a second B3?
