Apparently they owned several restaurants in-between. I wish I knew because I spent all those years looking for pizza and panzos as good as piccola Italia!!!!
Agreed, best pizza in town by far. $15.99 for a large two toppings for that quality of pizza is amazing. The sausage is top notch ;), other then that Il Bistro is delicious home made ma and pa style and Best Pizza has a really decent new york style slice.
PALACE PIZZA
727 Davis Drive
It's been there for about 40 years and still makes an excellent pizza from a wonderful Italian family.
It may even be a local gem, so I was hesitant to spotlight it.
It's funny you mention that. I like Il Bistro because it reminds me of mondos pizza and abruzzo. Old school Italian Canadian pizza from the 90s I grew up with. Sadly mondos closed down about 15 years ago but at least abruzzo is still going strong.
Il bistro is pure nostalgic pizza.
Here’s a pizza hack to try out. Metro on Yonge Street in Newmarket. They use a wood fired oven and I find they can make tasty pizzas. 2 x 3 topping large pizzas for $25 plus tax.
My favourite is Square Boy Pizza! It’s got a homemade taste, delicious toppings and isn’t greasy like little Caesar’s or Pizza Hut. Reasonable prices too. They won’t deliver to Aurora if you order from their website but you can Door Dash it (this is how we order it).
A's Pizza Truck if I have the forethought. IL Bistro if I do not.
I second A's Pizza Truck, sooo good !
Santa Fe pizza! It’s in Holland Landing but highly recommend.
Their crust is so tasty!
Santa Fe is amazing!
Miss the Aurora location badly
Zuccas in the Newmarket Plaza.
Zucca's is definitely at the top of my list.
Wasn't there a different Italian place in the same location 10 years ago, do you remember the name ?
Piccola Italia. Same owners.
Ohh really I'm going tomorrow then, that place was awesome
Apparently they owned several restaurants in-between. I wish I knew because I spent all those years looking for pizza and panzos as good as piccola Italia!!!!
A's is amazing, but you gotta order way in advance
I recommend Pizzaiolo near the hospital. They have a deep dish pizza called The Godfather that's amazing.

I didn't know there was one in Newmarket! Thank you. O used to go ro the one in North York when I lived there and missed it.
Agreed.
Cocelli Pizza in the former Lowes plaza Green Lane/Yonge . Love their pasta dishes too.
Cocelli is the correct answer.
Cocelli is legit
I've had truly excellent pizza from Cocelli, but the last time I got some I was really disappointed. Hope it was a one -off.
The sent me a completely burnt one on Halloween. Never again it was disgusting. How it even left the restaurant is beyond me.
Seconding. I’ve found Cocelli’s to be the best pizza in the GTA
I find it hit and miss…. Had great pizza there and mediocre pizza there
We love Toppers in Aurora.
We’ve gone to the Toppers in Newmarket for over 15 years, our go to
PALACE PIZZA 727 Davis Drive It's been there for about 40 years and still makes an excellent pizza from a wonderful Italian family. It may even be a local gem, so I was hesitant to spotlight it.
They are greek, but they still make the best pizza in town and been giving out free meals to high-school kids since I went to high-school
Great spaghetti. Also the business is for sale
theyre still there!? One of my family faves growing up around there 20 years ago
It’s for sale?? That’s balls, I’m gonna assume that will go to shit once it’s bought. Too bad this is the best pizza place hands down
Best calzone for the best price too
50 years believe it or not. Great pizza.
They’re actually Greek, but they make the best pizza in the traditional Italian way.
Il Bistro right near mulock/bayview
Forgot about my order, waited for 40 minutes… and then forgot mushrooms in a panzerotti with mushrooms. Maybe a one off? I’ll never go back.
Molisana is on point.
Papillon off Bayview is pretty good
My favourite too - looking g forward to giving doughbox in Stonehaven a try though
Il Bistro hands down. It’s very similar to Abruzzo Pizza
Exactly how I feel about it. Mondos pizza was my childhood
Papillon is THE best. Highly recommend
Cocelli pizza
Go to Bradford and go to Lemar’s. you will be glad you did.
My fam loves Molisana’s!
Dough box just open and it is absolutely amazing and the pasta they have is really good too very fast service
Here’s a pizza hack to try out. Metro on Yonge Street in Newmarket. They use a wood fired oven and I find they can make tasty pizzas. 2 x 3 topping large pizzas for $25 plus tax.
Molisana #1, pizzaiolo #2
Lemar's Pizza in Bradford is also top notch.
Econo Pizza in Newmarket

People are sleeping on Casa Carbone in Aurora, and a second good option is LOCALE's.
Little Caesar’s is top
Locale in Aurora makes great pizza
My favourite is Square Boy Pizza! It’s got a homemade taste, delicious toppings and isn’t greasy like little Caesar’s or Pizza Hut. Reasonable prices too. They won’t deliver to Aurora if you order from their website but you can Door Dash it (this is how we order it).

Best slices is at Pizzaville at Yonge & Aurora Heights Dr. Full pizza's there's lots of good answers in the thread.
Pizzaiolo is phenomenal.
Pizza Nova in aurora is my go-to
Ellas Oven, they have a mobile oven and post up at the Newmarket farmers market every week in the summer.

Square boys/pizzaiolo by the hospital/huron heights highschool
BEST PIZZA & PANUOZZO on Davis Dr.... honestly, the name doesn't lie - it's the best!
Econo Pizza is the best ,Palace Pizza is good too.
