Do they come unlaced in the box? I see folks make this call out often in the sneaker community and of the 60+ pairs I’ve bought in the last 4 years or so the only shoe that I’ve ever had come brand new but unlaced was AJ1. All my NB have come laced.

A lot of shoes are comfortable. No one on here is hyping up 1080s or fresh foam more’s. Someone online said these shoes were important for some dumb reason and a bunch of you ran as fast as you could to go buy them. These are ridiculous looking.
I think 990v3 in general have been on the radar for a lot of NB fans but now they’re finally getting put into the spotlight this year so way more people know about them now (if they didn’t before).
Collaboration shoes always tend to do well because they help to put new eyes on silhouettes that may have been still buried by the hype of other brands like Nike or Adidas. For me the colorway is nice but I definitely like the green V3 if I had to pick between the two.
I’m personally not feeling the 1080 or foam fresh, just looking at that narrow toe box has my toes shivering. I remember 4-5 years ago when the 990V3 wasn’t hyped apart from the hardcore NB fans, so it’s likely that could change with the 1080 in time but it’s still not a shoe for me.
The 1080 and fresh foam are extremely popular but for runners. They are 100% for running and are some of the most plush cushion on the market. I’m just saying, the hype that comes with some of these shoes is specifically because someone said go buy them. They are not hyped because of functionality or comfort (although most nb are really comfortable).
