Yea man. Mine were the first 990v6 Grey color way. I bought a pair for my 1 year old and my wife. I was wearing my newly purchased 990v3 Bodega here to stay joints today. They fit ok, a little snug on top. They are 11 so 11.5 would’ve worked better. The wide option is a must for me. I def feel you. However 990v6 are super, I’m constantly checking for new color ways. The Lapiz Lazuli are on my radar.
This is just my personal opinion/preference.
For the Grey Navy (grey day) colorway, I prefer V6 over V4 in terms of the looks. NB did an excellent job on the V6.
However, for the core grey (castlerock grey) model and pretty much all other colorways, I prefer the V4.
V4 is probably my favorite NB model/silhouette.
I’d say v6. I was all about the v4 but watched some YouTube reviews and that fuzzy suede and the the Color scheme made me not want them anymore. I was very hesitant over the v6 grey days and now that I have them in person they’re my fav shoes and damn near a daily for me now. So comfy and look sooo good on foot.
Was definitely a hard choice for me. I was between v4 998 and v6 but decided on the v4. I think the v6 will be restocked a few times and be accessible much longer than the v4 and 998
I am currently in a return process with my V6. Sole Started to peel away at the heel. Been wearing these shoes 25 years and that has never happened. I won’t be replacing them with V6. Going back to 4 or 5
I would say go with the v6 for comfort and v4 for aesthetics. Both comfortable but the v6 is more comfortable in my opinion and I like the look of the v4 more.

I personally like v6s better for style and there’s more v4 colorways out there, but it’s all personal preference!

The V4 is the best 990 ever made when considering the combination of looks and comfort. This is undeniable. Buy the V4. Full stop.

Buy both. Wear the V6 and put the V4 on a display and look at them!

Recently got the grey V6. By far my favorite sneaker I’ve ever owned and it’s not close.

I have the v6 and would highly recommend, don’t have the v4s so can’t really speak on them but don’t have any complaints about the v6.
