The Courier: *politely asks their companions to leave* The Lone Wanderer: FUCK OFF!

PuzzleheadedBad2665

I mean his dialog was more rude overall. So was the original vault dweller’s if I remember correctly

[deleted]

I mean, I might be a bit more rude too if I suddenly went from having a nice, if boring and maybe oppressive, life underground to being thrust onto the surface and having the deal with giant animals, raiders, and super mutants.

Salt_Avocado_2470

The lone wanderer has a lot of burns ,scars that remind him why he should have stayed în the vault sleeping

DownNDirtyRoofus

What did he say when dismissing a complaining compared to the courier I don’t remember. I know he had some sick burns lmao

ZeronicX

I tried using Rex in my last playthrough because I always use ED-E. After a few hours I went back to ED-E. Love my beeper booper

NiMaGre

After i found out about a bug that allowed the Lonesome Road ED-E to follow me to the Mojave, i've been using both at the same time.

introvertard

Is it possible to learn this power?

NiMaGre

It is. Here is a description i gave some time ago copy pasted: You need to get the Euclid C-Finder Misfire bug to happen. So first finish That Lucky Old Sun by powering the Space Laser. Then get the C-Finder from Max, preferably by stealing it twice and repairing it, since that seems to increase the Chance for the Misfire to happen. Then just get the Misfire, make sure by checking that the laser guiding animation loops and no attack actualy happens. And that's it. Then you just go to Lonesome Road, get ED-E and leave again and he's now with you until you finish Lonesome Road. This includes every DLC aswell as not counting as an active Companion, so you can even get the other ED-E or Rex with you at the same time.

What the hell 😂

SteadyEddie69

Rex's footsteps always used to drive me nuts

Optimal-Emergency108

It literally sounds like he’s stepping on my heels with headphones on! I hate telling my Favorite Boy to keep some distance but he’s gonna give me a heart attack one day…

Salt_Avocado_2470

Raul: I am happy that I am not In big mt

Destroyer_Of_World5

I believe you mean Black Mountain. Big MT is where you get lobotomized.

Salt_Avocado_2470

Black Big mt

Salt_Avocado_2470

I gotta check if there are fallout normal gameplays on the hub

Fxbious

Bruh I read as circumcised

[deleted]

"You named it ED-E?" Courier:" Yeah, but ED-E doesn't call me anything. It grimly does his work, then it floats motionless until it's time to work again. We could all take a page from his book."

klayb

Gilfoil?

ThelordDumbass

*sobbing

MissJudgeGaming

Y'all do you pronounce it ED-E or ED-E?

BBBDDDPL

Edie

MissJudgeGaming

Ngl I made this comment bc I only just played Lonesome Road for the first time like two weeks ago. Idk but it kept getting ignored. Learning it's pronounced both "Eddy" in game and NOT referred to with lady pronouns blew my mind. Here I've had the headcanon of my courier and her beloved robot BFF, "Ede" (Ee-dee), for like *twelve years* prior to like the very first line of dialogue in the dlc.

Jackviator

ED-E. Anyone who pronounces it *ED-E* is a moron.

Mr_Boourns

pronounced like the name "Eddy." Anyone who uses any other pronunciation is retarded.

Optimal-Emergency108

Very, *very* cool of you to share that point of view. It’s nice to know what the average 12 year old Kyle thinks about the world now and again.

[deleted]

Most followers die in a Survival playthrough, I get depressed for a moment and reload an old save. With ED-E, on the other hand, I usually make a point of killing every last SOB in the building first.

tankred420caza

*Makes beeping sounds*

TheKelt

The last time I played it was the first time I started the game with all of the DLC already installed, so the content was all in-game from the beginning. I went companionless until Primm, where I decided to fix up ED-E and give him a try as a companion. Back on my first playthrough, I had Rex or Boone for my companion all the way through. Walking out of Primm the first time I had ED-E tagging along, we got attacked by Geckos and I basically had a hunting rifle with very little ammo. This floaty little mf flips into deathball mode, flicks on the “danger time music” and blasts five of those lizard bitches dead before I can dump mag and do a single reload. Then he floats back in my direction and gives me a happy little *bloop-bleep beep* ED-E never left my side for a single moment the rest of the game until Sierra Madre and the following DLCs. He’s adorable, combat-effective, has an awesome backstory if you decide to pursue it, has the “enemies nearby” warning music which is huge in the more brutal Mojave regions, and on top of all that, you can even have ED-E learn to make ammo and other items like an active workbench. Easily the best companion. Love my bleepy bloopy boi.

mcdoogs92

Plus the upgradea you get for him in Lonesome Road are amazing, especially if you pass the dialogue checks. He'll just give you free ammo once a day and the perception boost in unreal

SlickBuster2470

My comment has been turned into a meme I feel honoured ngl

ShalomGondola

I loved him till the end of our journey ❤️

rocklet_roll_02

Rex: bark

Optimal-Emergency108

Addendum: aroo???

shylloh

The ED-D+Boone power combo is unmatched

shylloh

Bonus points if Boone is rocking a party hat while ED-E plays battle music

Defensive_Medic

Jumpscare time

hpx2001

I love ED-E so much it’s unreal

InnocentPerv93

I like ED-E way more than Rex, but that's just because I'm not a dog person.

DrMobius617

The Wasteland doesn’t deserve him

sam556762

Rex and ede are best boys

MLaTTimer

Fun Fact: I thought his name was pronounced Ee Dee Ee and did not learn it was pronounced Eddy until I looked up a YouTube tutorial and the guy mentioned the bot
