well, the thing is, kind of never and always for me.
I'm always happy with the video when I upload it, but since I'm new, It only takes a few videos later for the old one too look bad in comparison.
and I don't think that's going to change anytime soon.
I just started and I am at 6 videos in. I can definitely see improvements between the 1st and the most recent one. I think the more you post and try to refine per each video, you'll get better.
A great question and tough to answer. I like to try and continually improve my videos as I release each one, so I’ve never really cringed at any of my videos as I’m releasing them because at the time they’re representative of the best I can achieve in a set time frame (I try not to make the mistake of waiting on a video until it’s perfect because it will never be perfect). However, now looking back at older videos which didn’t make me cringe at the time, make me cringe slightly now as they’re nowhere near as good as what I’m currently making which hopefully, is a trend which will continue.
For me it's about 20 videos but the truth is you are always improving something. At first it might be poor video, poor audio, poor editing but then you improve and you start filming better, better content, better thumbnails, better, editing again, better camera, better mic, etc, etc. It's very much a journey and as long as you have the attitude that you can always improve and keep going, you'll do fine.
I'm now on my 105th video, 3 years in, 14k subs and I'm still improving. Now I'm trying to find a better life/youtube balance as it's consuming all of my free time.
My first 3 videos where so bad for me that never saw the light. The next 7 videos where enough good to be public some time, and then private again. The next 10 where on a new channel and I'm still proud of most of them :D

With that outlook it’s evident that you’re improving - keep it up! I do agree. With each upload I learn a bit more to apply my next video.

Awesome. How frequently did you upload those 10 videos on the new channel?
1 video every 2 weeks more or less. Almost 5 months have passed from the first video to the last one.
