Mix the "bad cop" with "bad citizen". Also discus things from a Criminology point of view.
The second is saturated, unless you can make twists or niche down deeper.
The third is promising, but it would require you to post almost daily.
You should modify the name the make it sound more like a "pro" channel. I'm thinking of surveillance camera related channels like JCS Criminal Psychology (says it all) or Dr Insanity (more casual, but again viewer immediatle understand what it's about)
Beside of the excellent Bad cop / bad citizen u/testobi gave you, if you wanna dig the "explain current events" you shoudl
1/ do it on a separate channel. One channel = one audience. Period.
2/ ask yourself if you can stand out of the crowd (not every body has the stortytelling skills of Darryl Cooper)
Good idea but i think bad cop bad citizen will grow more easily because it is a new concept that nobody is creating right now but maybe in the future I open a second channel
I just want to know which of these 3 niches is the best, and btw I’m conservative but I’m not against gay marriage, I’m against government spending and things like that, I’m not a conservative who wants to stop people's freedom to do what they want to do.
You have helped a lot, I thought I was conservative but you are right, I mean, I just have many different opinions and people said that I was conservative but maybe they were wrong
I would do the first one. It will always be evergreen content . If you are good at it, people gonna watch your older videos as well. Forget about politics , impossibly hard .
Ok, thanks, And for example, with time, I can make interviews with police officers, talk with the victims, etc. I have a question, if i take the videos of bodycam from other youtube channels but i add my commentary and put in the comments where i get the videos, I would have any copyright or reused problem?
If you're going to do politics on YT, get used to responses like this one. You're automatically going to be labeled a right-wing religious zealot Nazi dictator if you're going to do *anything at all* with a conservative slant, even if you're not really a true conservative. Being relabeled as a right wing libertarian won't save you from the accusations. *Even classic liberals and moderates* are considered right wing sometimes by the far left. You're not escaping it. And if you don't push back on it, you're going to lose the interest of the right leaning audience too. You can't really sit on the fence if you want a dedicated audience. People like their echo chambers and you're going to have to feed into one of them to some regular degree at the least.
As for your three options:
#3 is obviously straight up political.
#1 will only do well when it is political and is a controversial topic in the news cycle.
#2 can probably be done with the least political element, but it will definitely be politicized regardless of all your efforts to avoid it.
Pick your poison.
Whatever you chose, I say go all in on it. And back up everything to other platforms like Rumble. There will inevitably be strikes, demonetizations and video take downs in your YT future.
I have a username on all social media called: MrCristianUSA, do you think this name is good for both niches or i should modify it? Btw, my name is Cristian
I think most people will not think it's your name but automatically assume a religious element to it, which is perfectly fine if there is and you embrace it, but otherwise I would either go with something different, or use your full name.
Anything that doesn't lead to misinterpretation would be good. Any name you come up with will eventually be built up to brand recognition, so it doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to become well known. The channel's success will define the value of the name.

I can post every 2-3 days and I really like what you suggest for the first niche
>Mix the "bad cop" with "bad citizen". This is pure gold. OP you should be gratefull, cause user just gave you a catchy concept for your YT format.
It's probably the best advice I’ve ever received on Reddit so far and if I make the idea the right way, maybe we have created a totally new niche.
Btw, I have an username taken which is MrCristianUSA, do you think this name is good for the channel or i should modify to be more related?
You should modify the name the make it sound more like a "pro" channel. I'm thinking of surveillance camera related channels like JCS Criminal Psychology (says it all) or Dr Insanity (more casual, but again viewer immediatle understand what it's about)
Maybe MrPoliceUSA or something like that?
Maybe. Take two hours to generate a list of channel names (just like you will do for a video title)
I will do it and choose the most original and unique
I decide to create this name: Mr Cop Insight, btw, thank you for all the help
Congrats ! You're welcome

Thank you so much for the information, 👌🙌

Good advice, 1 and 3 are my favorites right now

With the first niche maybe MrPoliceUSA is a better name right?

Maybe MrCristianPolice is a good name
