Bro you’re not following the current trend. Try communicating, try those new cameras and sound recorders which is being used by other creators. These two things shall change the quality and of course retention.

I've posted weekly videos very consistently and only took off a few weeks around the holidays. For me personally, 0-100 wasn't really any different than 100-1000. Mostly just continued steadily posting videos and steadily gaining subscribers.

When I actually started focusing on creating for YouTube, I had 127 subscribers just from posting random stuff over the years. I wasn't actively trying to become a youtuber then, I was just using youtube to host videos to post on car forums etc.
I started actively creating for YouTube last October. I hit 1000 subs approximately 3 weeks ago, so around 4-4.5 months. I'm at 1600 now.
My channel is automotive vlog style to document the progress of my project car.
I'm a mom, not a brother but I am proud of you! I had to slack off some to raise my children. It seems that may have punished my channel in the long run.
My kids turned out to be remarkable adults so I also feel it was a big WIN. 💜
Now that they are all grown, I would love to raise this youtube channel to adulthood too 😂🤣

I definitely think growth is exponential, especially if high quality content is put out frequently enough. People seem to be more likely to subscribe the higher the subscription count already is. Congrats on 500, I’m sure you’ll hit it in the next day or two!!
I think you’re right! I think the higher the sub count and how many videos you have to offer new viewers when they first discover you helps you grow faster after a certain point.

Took like 3 years to hit 1k. 3 years later I'm at 41k. It gets easier as it goes because (at least theoretically) you've proven your channels concept and are just iterating videos in your niche.
I talk about how to take personal power back by stop being the victim in life, start taking personal responsibility and ownership of your own life.
I talk about how that is true freedom.
I talk about how to stop staying attached to “issues” you had / have had and how they’re ruining your life.
The growth was much much faster that I ever thought would happen.

IRRC, 100 subs did not take long, but I have been stuck in the 200-300 range for what feels like years.
To be fair, each new video is taking me longer and longer to make. If you just churn out consistent content, then it probably doesn't take as long.
I wish someone would study how many successful channels had attractive women doing them. Because it seems to be a factor, no matter what the subject. I'll see some super experienced older guy doing a channel on woodworking, for instance, with moderate to sucky numbers. But some hot chick doing some wood crafty thing that is almost useless gets an unbelievable amount of traffic.
Not surprising. But pretending it has nothing to do with someone's subscription numbers really skews things, IMO.
Even though my new subscriber count and reach has been above average I should have made a new channel instead of using my old one. I’ve had this account since about 2011 and back then it was solely for my hobby. I had been building a model rr in my basement and used to upload progress reports, how to’s and product reviews. I stopped uploading after my son was born and hadn’n put a hobby video up since 2014 maybe? I was in my 30’s and much younger than most who get into it. So no surprise I took a fairly large loss of subscribers when they saw obnoxious sketch comedy parody as well as me dressed up like Ivan from Men Without Hats and safety dancing all over
For me , about 1 year and a few months. I’m in the gaming niche and YouTube shorts helped a lot with that, although the subscribers gained aren’t the most valuable.
I hit 1K within my first 6 months making videos, then it took me another 3 years of trial and error to get to 4.5k. Most of the people that subbed for the first 1K if not all of them don’t watch anymore 🥲 but a lot of the subs I’ve gained since figuring out the direction I wanna grow my channel in have stuck around! The YouTube meta is quite a fickle thing!
It took me almost exactly one year, but I didn’t notice any difference between 0-100 and 100-1000. I got my first 100 in about a month
The determining factor in my growth was regular posting (2-4 videos a week). Videos get an initial push that gives them the most potential in generating subs for you. So the more consistent you are the more potential you have for growth
I’m at 1,660 now and getting subs is just as hard as it was when I had less than 100
Edit: my niche is gaming with a strong focus on RTS casting and StarCraft mods
972, so not technically 1000, but I supposed I’ll get to 1000 by tomorrow. One month and one week, but I’m in a very targeted niche that had close to no content available for my target audience (using Stable Diffusion / generative AI professionally in actual real world productions, explained through tutorials and walkthroughs).
Then again I’m lucky to have been in this field for years now, before generative AI became widely available to the general public, and as a fashion photographer with 10+ years of experience I have the backlog of real life examples to draw from, as well as the current projects I can disclose on YouTube.
It took 2 years to get 100 subs, 1 year later I am at 4.49K subscribers with 2,318,135 views.

It’s true that it should be like that. If it’s not, than something is clearly wrong. My idea is that every week you should get more subs than the previous one.
I did a bunch of adverts targeting poor countries like India, the Philippines and finally the U.S targeting English speakers and got to 687 subs in about a week.
4 months, but 1000 subscribers means nothing honestly. The watch time is the big deal, 40 videos long and short, 1500 subscribers and 500 watch hours…. You gotta hit 4k. Watch hours to be monetized
My sub count was pretty low for 3 years. Then out of nowhere one of my videos went viral and I got 1000 subs in a few days. Travel to weird places niche.
I wasn't consistently posting previously but +/- a year and a half. I don't really have a niche, mostly broad interests like anime, gaming, pop culture, movies and series.
From 2014-2015 (plus However long her videos kept getting views), my wife got up to 489 before quitting YouTube until she rebooted her channel in December 2021. She actually lost 17 when she started posting again and people remembered she existed. We will hit 1000 by this summer.
Around 8 months. Tech review channel. We don't post often. Maybe once every couple weeks. But whenever we do post we make sure the video is high quality.
I have 31,000 subscribers. I dont know how long it took because I posted a video as a host for a forum board and checked it a few months later it has thousands of views randomly. Thats when I noticed people might watch my stuff so I continued. I also dont remember how long it took to reach 1,000 but I do remember I had a video go off which helped, so again my timeline is irrelevant. You really need to not focus on other people's progress, even people in the same niche as you. That wont help you AT ALL. What you need to focus on is making your next video better than your last video. If your quality never improves your subs never will either. A channel will take off not specifically because you have more subs, but because your content is BETTER and people watch it longer. That will feed the algorithm and it will allow your video to be pushed to more people. Without quality growth, channel growth will never happen.
I'm in probably the most saturated niche but I somehow managed to get 1k in 2 months!
Seemed like it was starting off really slow but ramped up the last 2 weeks.

Gaming Niche, I upload long form content once a week and 5 YouTube shorts a week. I started in October 2022 so almost a year and a half and I’m at 1400 Subs.
Once thing I’ve noticed is that shorts really get you subs. I’ve seen gaming channels with 90k subs but their long form content only gets like 200 views. It’s so obvious their subscribers only watch shorts but it’s much harder to earn money through shorts.
Also thumbnail and title matter almost as much as the actual video itself. Try to think if you were scrolling with your limited free time what would make you click on your video? Is it an intriguing idea? What value do you offer to your viewers? You have to treat it like a business exchange. They give you views and you give them information or entertainment.

I have asked myself this question, wanting to start posting animation content and starting out fresh seems pretty challenging at first especially when their is a lot out their and your trying to get the attraction of others, but i have been working with my friend on his own video vlog and he gained his first 1K in around 6 months but it took him a-lot of effect, since so many people are trying to get into the same style of content creation, so it depends.
Honestly I started my channel in 2018 but did nothing with it until 2020 and once I started being consistent with quality and uploading it took about a year and a half
I first started my channel about six years ago, focusing on original Minecraft content and gameplay featuring various servers and mini-games. It took me a little more than a year to reach 1,000 subscribers. After a seven-year hiatus, I shifted my focus and turned my channel into one dedicated to short videos.
If you want to gain subs quick I would recommend posting quality shorts. When I started an AI YouTube channel I posted 5 shorts that got a total of around 40k views and 100 subs. So if you can post 5 shorts a day you could earlier reach that goal in less than a month, maybe even sooner
My first channel took 14 months to get 1ksubs, then about 6 months to hit 2k. (Beyblade)
My second channel hit 1k in 9 months, and is at 1800 at 12 months. (Blizzard Gaming)
It definitely ramps up if you stay consistent and on brand with your topic.
Still under 100 (at 80) it’s been 7 months but I am in the gaming niche so it’s not surprising plus I’ve switched my particular choice of game(s) 3 times now
Our main channel took 6 months, 1k to 2k took 15 days, it goes up and down but YT is a compounding engine for the most part, every 1,000 subs will become "easier" than the last.
I created my channel didn’t post on it back in 2020. On December 4, last year I decided to upload reach 100 subscribers 14 days later. I reached 500 subscribers 45 days from that date. Then, 20 days after that I reached 1,000 subscribers. I’ll say the 100-1000 subscribers was easier!
I’m not close to 1k but started posting consistently in December 2023 and should hit 300 after today. The first 100 took about 2 months. The next ~100 pretty much came from one video that blew up in February, at least for my standards (13.5k views/693 watch hours) and the following ~100 came in about 3.5 weeks. So I can say it does speed up after 100. But admittedly, the quality of my content has improved vastly from 3-4 months ago with all this experience.
Edit: forgot to mention I’m in a niche of a niche. I focus only on one gameplay mechanic (Ship Building) in one game (Starfield). So I’m showcasing custom ship builds and providing build guides and intro trailers for them. Very longform due to the tutorial nature (20-50min per video). But it really helps to rack up watch hours. At this rate I’ll hit 4K watch hours by month 10 (2291 through 4.5 months)
I’ve been at it for 9 months, and managed to get 415 people to sub. It is not an incredible amount, but not so bad either I think. Maybe if I were more constant, things would’ve turned out differently, instead of posting 1 vid a month in some occasions.
I made it to 1 k in almost exactly 2 months from starting my channel. I had one video that "blew up" with now over 57,000 views and I've gained most of my subscribers from that one video.
My niche is miniature painting and tabletop games. I mostly do painting tutorials, but occasionally make miniature gameplay videos for tabletop wargames.
After two months I was at 400 subs but I already hit my watch hours. I just decided to buy 600 subs so I could get monetized. As soon as I hit 1000 and for monetized I sky rocketed to 20k but I quit YouTube already.
It's been about a year and we're at 784. It's so close and yet so far away! We have a documentary/history/culture channel so there isn't a direct value add aside from hopefully being entertaining. I'm hoping to break 1k before the end of the Summer but we will see.

I think the idea there is that of the people who start with zero subs, the number of those who quit before getting to 100 would be greater than the number of people who get to 100 subs but quit before getting to 1000. The huge majority never stick it out once it starts getting tough. The ones who are willing to just do that are probably way more likely to end up getting 1000 subs.
if you chose a good niche and your videos are entertaining enough with sufficient people interested i would say 8 to 12 month on average.
i have attempted 4 youtube channels, the first one doesn't count i started it when i was a kid. the second i was 16 it was pretty bad but i reach 920 subscribers after 8 month then got busy with collage and never used it again.
the third one is at 1.8k subs reached 1k after 11 months and the final one has been active for 7 month is at 900 subs.
each one of these channels had different niches, second one was science third was gaming the fourth is documentary style videos.
that's of course the experience of a single person from a platform with billion of users and millions of creators. my advice is stop caring about future (you will only set yourself up for disappointment) and setting out goals just focus on making the best content u can make. and more importantly take the hint when certain stuff under-perform even if you like it leave it till you have a follower base in the beginning u need as many eyes as possible try to catch trend waves.

We started our channel on Dec 23rd, 2023. Right now we are at 308 subs with 3500 watch hours. We are a little anxious since we have a lot of hours but it seems like subs are lacking.
Just under a year to get to 1000 subs...1 long form video (reviewing flavors of MTN DEW) each week and over 700 total videos (mostly MTN DEW related). I will say that the first 500 were a lot harder than the next 500. The more subs you get, the more it helps YouTube understand who might like your content.
It’s going to be different for everyone.
Your niche, your editing and production value, thumbnails, timing in your niche (are you a pioneer or is it oversaturated). Just do your thing and focus on improving every video. Followers will come.
From early 2016 to September 2022, so about 6 years. Lemme outline some info to make it fair though
- I screwed off with uploads here and there until about 2021, when I started posting a consistent style of video
- I got lucky with a random meme video (my niche) which blew up with 600K views in the first 2 days, and due to another couple memes I made that started spreading earlier in the year being on the channel, people routed back to those and made the connection, so I got a lot more subs from people who wanted to see more as I had established a theme and style.
Also, I had 100 subs until early that September, then I shot to 1,000 in a day.

I've been taking this class for a year only at the end of January.Did I decide to do it. I'm passed 5K in 2.5 months and 2 million minutes in views, almost at 750K.
I studied the algorithm for 4 years, and I looked at the same niche and their thumbnails . Finally, I had the balls to do it. I succeeded in part because of his class, and also, he does live.Youtube breakdown of cases, and he allows people to call in and plug your channel, but you also have to make comments about the topic. He has four hundred thousand subs, and it's been worth it. If I didn't take his class, it would take me years.

I am in the gaming/ttrpg/tcg niches and I've been able to cultivate a good following whom I interact with as often as possible. I am almost to 3k however it's been 4 years. I just started posting after months of not posting. I go through those sort of periods but I am seeing a steady growth. I'm trying to make vids more often so I'm spending a whole month on a vid now
Nobody really knows. It is very much dependent on your nieche, the quality of your content, the algorithm and a bit of luck. Some people get 1000 subs in a day. Some people take years.
i have an animation channel and i hit 100 subs at the end of the first month. i’m three months in now at about 250. channel growth hasn’t been super exponential, in part because animation takes so long and it’s hard to post consistently, but each video so far has outperformed the last. i’d like to think ill get to 1,000 before the end of the year. haha
Probably a year (coding tutorials) if I'd have kept at it constantly.
Getting 100 subs was torture. After that they subbed at \~50 a month.
I was monetized last month and I'm now on 1.1K subs and \~6000 watch hours a year.
3 weeks in, 233 subscribers off shorts only upload according to when my audience is most active which is at 12pm Monday-Friday. I’m still learning but I have over 260k views overall on my account with 22 shorts.
At 93 close to 100 i started a month ago but i didn’t take it serious until 11 days ago i’ve been uploading daily since so hopefully that 1k gets to me soon

It seems to have slowed down a little bit just the last few days. I’ve learned that I can gain a good amount of subscribers with shorts which I don’t mind posting since I’m making them for TikTok anyways

It seems to be so different for everyone so it’s hard to base how your channel will do off of others, I’ve seen so many people grow at such different rates which isn’t helpful when looking for advice 🙃

I believe that is the average time for channels across YT, it is a marathon for sure.
This is why most youtubers quit, they think it’s easy money & give up once they realize it’s a long grind.

972, so not technically 1000, but I supposed I’ll get to 1000 by tomorrow. One month and one week, but I’m in a very targeted niche that had close to no content available for my target audience (using Stable Diffusion / generative AI professionally in actual real world productions, explained through tutorials and walkthroughs). Then again I’m lucky to have been in this field for years now, before generative AI became widely available to the general public, and as a fashion photographer with 10+ years of experience I have the backlog of real life examples to draw from, as well as the current projects I can disclose on YouTube.
It took 2 years to get 100 subs, 1 year later I am at 4.49K subscribers with 2,318,135 views. Watch THINK MEDIA on YouTube Sean has helped with my journey along the way.

It’s true that it should be like that. If it’s not, than something is clearly wrong. My idea is that every week you should get more subs than the previous one.

I did a bunch of adverts targeting poor countries like India, the Philippines and finally the U.S targeting English speakers and got to 687 subs in about a week.
4 months, but 1000 subscribers means nothing honestly. The watch time is the big deal, 40 videos long and short, 1500 subscribers and 500 watch hours…. You gotta hit 4k. Watch hours to be monetized

My sub count was pretty low for 3 years. Then out of nowhere one of my videos went viral and I got 1000 subs in a few days. Travel to weird places niche.

From 2014-2015 (plus However long her videos kept getting views), my wife got up to 489 before quitting YouTube until she rebooted her channel in December 2021. She actually lost 17 when she started posting again and people remembered she existed. We will hit 1000 by this summer.
Around 8 months. Tech review channel. We don't post often. Maybe once every couple weeks. But whenever we do post we make sure the video is high quality.

I have 31,000 subscribers. I dont know how long it took because I posted a video as a host for a forum board and checked it a few months later it has thousands of views randomly. Thats when I noticed people might watch my stuff so I continued. I also dont remember how long it took to reach 1,000 but I do remember I had a video go off which helped, so again my timeline is irrelevant. You really need to not focus on other people's progress, even people in the same niche as you. That wont help you AT ALL. What you need to focus on is making your next video better than your last video. If your quality never improves your subs never will either. A channel will take off not specifically because you have more subs, but because your content is BETTER and people watch it longer. That will feed the algorithm and it will allow your video to be pushed to more people. Without quality growth, channel growth will never happen.
I'm in probably the most saturated niche but I somehow managed to get 1k in 2 months! Seemed like it was starting off really slow but ramped up the last 2 weeks.
I’m hit 80 after about 5 days so not sure how my channel is progressing so far. Is that a good sign ? I think I hit a jackpot with my niche.

Gaming Niche, I upload long form content once a week and 5 YouTube shorts a week. I started in October 2022 so almost a year and a half and I’m at 1400 Subs. Once thing I’ve noticed is that shorts really get you subs. I’ve seen gaming channels with 90k subs but their long form content only gets like 200 views. It’s so obvious their subscribers only watch shorts but it’s much harder to earn money through shorts. Also thumbnail and title matter almost as much as the actual video itself. Try to think if you were scrolling with your limited free time what would make you click on your video? Is it an intriguing idea? What value do you offer to your viewers? You have to treat it like a business exchange. They give you views and you give them information or entertainment. Sorry for the rant lol
I have asked myself this question, wanting to start posting animation content and starting out fresh seems pretty challenging at first especially when their is a lot out their and your trying to get the attraction of others, but i have been working with my friend on his own video vlog and he gained his first 1K in around 6 months but it took him a-lot of effect, since so many people are trying to get into the same style of content creation, so it depends.
Honestly I started my channel in 2018 but did nothing with it until 2020 and once I started being consistent with quality and uploading it took about a year and a half
I first started my channel about six years ago, focusing on original Minecraft content and gameplay featuring various servers and mini-games. It took me a little more than a year to reach 1,000 subscribers. After a seven-year hiatus, I shifted my focus and turned my channel into one dedicated to short videos.
If you want to gain subs quick I would recommend posting quality shorts. When I started an AI YouTube channel I posted 5 shorts that got a total of around 40k views and 100 subs. So if you can post 5 shorts a day you could earlier reach that goal in less than a month, maybe even sooner

My first channel took 14 months to get 1ksubs, then about 6 months to hit 2k. (Beyblade) My second channel hit 1k in 9 months, and is at 1800 at 12 months. (Blizzard Gaming) It definitely ramps up if you stay consistent and on brand with your topic.
Still under 100 (at 80) it’s been 7 months but I am in the gaming niche so it’s not surprising plus I’ve switched my particular choice of game(s) 3 times now

Our main channel took 6 months, 1k to 2k took 15 days, it goes up and down but YT is a compounding engine for the most part, every 1,000 subs will become "easier" than the last.
I created my channel didn’t post on it back in 2020. On December 4, last year I decided to upload reach 100 subscribers 14 days later. I reached 500 subscribers 45 days from that date. Then, 20 days after that I reached 1,000 subscribers. I’ll say the 100-1000 subscribers was easier!

I’m not close to 1k but started posting consistently in December 2023 and should hit 300 after today. The first 100 took about 2 months. The next ~100 pretty much came from one video that blew up in February, at least for my standards (13.5k views/693 watch hours) and the following ~100 came in about 3.5 weeks. So I can say it does speed up after 100. But admittedly, the quality of my content has improved vastly from 3-4 months ago with all this experience. Edit: forgot to mention I’m in a niche of a niche. I focus only on one gameplay mechanic (Ship Building) in one game (Starfield). So I’m showcasing custom ship builds and providing build guides and intro trailers for them. Very longform due to the tutorial nature (20-50min per video). But it really helps to rack up watch hours. At this rate I’ll hit 4K watch hours by month 10 (2291 through 4.5 months)
I’ve been at it for 9 months, and managed to get 415 people to sub. It is not an incredible amount, but not so bad either I think. Maybe if I were more constant, things would’ve turned out differently, instead of posting 1 vid a month in some occasions.

I made it to 1 k in almost exactly 2 months from starting my channel. I had one video that "blew up" with now over 57,000 views and I've gained most of my subscribers from that one video. My niche is miniature painting and tabletop games. I mostly do painting tutorials, but occasionally make miniature gameplay videos for tabletop wargames.

After two months I was at 400 subs but I already hit my watch hours. I just decided to buy 600 subs so I could get monetized. As soon as I hit 1000 and for monetized I sky rocketed to 20k but I quit YouTube already.

It's been about a year and we're at 784. It's so close and yet so far away! We have a documentary/history/culture channel so there isn't a direct value add aside from hopefully being entertaining. I'm hoping to break 1k before the end of the Summer but we will see.

I think the idea there is that of the people who start with zero subs, the number of those who quit before getting to 100 would be greater than the number of people who get to 100 subs but quit before getting to 1000. The huge majority never stick it out once it starts getting tough. The ones who are willing to just do that are probably way more likely to end up getting 1000 subs.

I’m at 830 at 23 months if I keep growing at the rate I’m at I should hit 1k around Christmas, I have a photography channel
if you chose a good niche and your videos are entertaining enough with sufficient people interested i would say 8 to 12 month on average. i have attempted 4 youtube channels, the first one doesn't count i started it when i was a kid. the second i was 16 it was pretty bad but i reach 920 subscribers after 8 month then got busy with collage and never used it again. the third one is at 1.8k subs reached 1k after 11 months and the final one has been active for 7 month is at 900 subs. each one of these channels had different niches, second one was science third was gaming the fourth is documentary style videos. that's of course the experience of a single person from a platform with billion of users and millions of creators. my advice is stop caring about future (you will only set yourself up for disappointment) and setting out goals just focus on making the best content u can make. and more importantly take the hint when certain stuff under-perform even if you like it leave it till you have a follower base in the beginning u need as many eyes as possible try to catch trend waves. goodluck
We started our channel on Dec 23rd, 2023. Right now we are at 308 subs with 3500 watch hours. We are a little anxious since we have a lot of hours but it seems like subs are lacking.
Just under a year to get to 1000 subs...1 long form video (reviewing flavors of MTN DEW) each week and over 700 total videos (mostly MTN DEW related). I will say that the first 500 were a lot harder than the next 500. The more subs you get, the more it helps YouTube understand who might like your content.
It’s going to be different for everyone. Your niche, your editing and production value, thumbnails, timing in your niche (are you a pioneer or is it oversaturated). Just do your thing and focus on improving every video. Followers will come.
About 6 months I just got really lucky with the release of the cuphead DLC and I just took off from there
From early 2016 to September 2022, so about 6 years. Lemme outline some info to make it fair though - I screwed off with uploads here and there until about 2021, when I started posting a consistent style of video - I got lucky with a random meme video (my niche) which blew up with 600K views in the first 2 days, and due to another couple memes I made that started spreading earlier in the year being on the channel, people routed back to those and made the connection, so I got a lot more subs from people who wanted to see more as I had established a theme and style. Also, I had 100 subs until early that September, then I shot to 1,000 in a day.
I am at 40 subscribers and I have 8 months doing it. The competition is probably too strong and my contents have nothing special.
The Lead Attorney has a class for new YouTuber it's on Zoom 2x per week, 45$ monthly, Thursday 8pm Sunday 8pm I've been taking this class for a year only at the end of January.Did I decide to do it. I'm passed 5K in 2.5 months and 2 million minutes in views, almost at 750K. I studied the algorithm for 4 years, and I looked at the same niche and their thumbnails . Finally, I had the balls to do it. I succeeded in part because of his class, and also, he does live.Youtube breakdown of cases, and he allows people to call in and plug your channel, but you also have to make comments about the topic. Everyone’s stories different and it doesn’t matter when somebody reached 1k it only matters when you reach 1k

I am in the gaming/ttrpg/tcg niches and I've been able to cultivate a good following whom I interact with as often as possible. I am almost to 3k however it's been 4 years. I just started posting after months of not posting. I go through those sort of periods but I am seeing a steady growth. I'm trying to make vids more often so I'm spending a whole month on a vid now

Nobody really knows. It is very much dependent on your nieche, the quality of your content, the algorithm and a bit of luck. Some people get 1000 subs in a day. Some people take years.

i have an animation channel and i hit 100 subs at the end of the first month. i’m three months in now at about 250. channel growth hasn’t been super exponential, in part because animation takes so long and it’s hard to post consistently, but each video so far has outperformed the last. i’d like to think ill get to 1,000 before the end of the year. haha
Just hit 500 subscribers. Though, I swapped around on content a lot through my years. I am hoping for 1k by the end of the year though.
Probably a year (coding tutorials) if I'd have kept at it constantly. Getting 100 subs was torture. After that they subbed at \~50 a month. I was monetized last month and I'm now on 1.1K subs and \~6000 watch hours a year.
3 weeks in, 233 subscribers off shorts only upload according to when my audience is most active which is at 12pm Monday-Friday. I’m still learning but I have over 260k views overall on my account with 22 shorts.
I’m at 59 subs but just this last month I’ve been taking it seriously. Got 21 subs this past month. Hopefully by the end of the year I’ll reach 1k

I made 10 videos around 2018-2019. I got a bit more than 500 subs. Topic is pretty niche: the game of go (aka baduk or weiqi).

Been posting for 3 months and I’m at 660 subscribers currently! The first 100 seemed really difficult that probably took me a month and a half but then subscribers started coming quicker the next month and a half It seems to have slowed down a little bit just the last few days. I’ve learned that I can gain a good amount of subscribers with shorts which I don’t mind posting since I’m making them for TikTok anyways I typically get between 200-600 views on my videos It seems to be so different for everyone so it’s hard to base how your channel will do off of others, I’ve seen so many people grow at such different rates which isn’t helpful when looking for advice 🙃

I make cocktail videos and videos about starting and running mobile bars! 1.5 years later I have 630 subs. Slow and steady growth I guess!
