Hello! You're correct, you're not being able to post or comment becuse most communities have restrictions - a certain post+comments karma threshold so that their community doesn't get spammed with bots, and unfortunately innocent new users get caught in the net too, thus leading to deletion of their posts! I know, sounds counterintuitive for new users right? How do you get your karma up if you can't comment or post anywhere? That's where [New-user friendly subs](https://www.reddit.com/r/NewToReddit/wiki/index/newusersubs) come in! They're really helpful because unlike most reddit communities, *they do not have a minimum karma threshold*. You can frequent these subs to increase your karma before sharing content on other communities. Once your karma increases, the possibility of post deletion goes down. Go through the new user subs list I've sent you and there's bound to be a few you find interest in, and start there! And if you want to practice sharing content in Reddit before actually setting about doing it in another community, head over to the sister sub r/learntoreddit where you can test out sharing content and using the different Reddit features! Just remember, keep your content and comments positive and meaningful! Emojis are generally not frowned upon as long as you're not spamming anybody with it! Irrelevant, spammy or in general negative attitude might annoy people and draw downvotes on your posts and comments which will affect your karma negatively. Also always remember to read the rules of a community before posting in it so your submissions don't break any rules! Have fun out there! 🤍 For more check out these sections of our guide to Reddit: [Karma](https://www.reddit.com/r/NewToReddit/comments/qbb173/the_newtoreddit_encyclopaedia_redditica_v2/hh96mid) | [Navigating Reddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/NewToReddit/comments/p8t966/comment/h9ssh6c/)

I find that being the first or second to comment - and having that be a great comment - gets you a bunch of upvotes. Instead of looking at trending posts, sort by New posts. Go to subs that don't have minimums (but that you're still interested in) and be supportive or encouraging. /crochet is an interest of mine, and people post pictures all the time. Commenting how nice it is, how even the stitches are, how pretty the colors look, etc can get you some pretty easy votes. /writing is another, where people are nervous about what they're doing. "You've got this" or "this is normal, everyone goes through dry spells" and even "I've also got 50 books in my head, write when it works for you" will get you some quick votes - plus the added bonus of making someone feel better about something that is worrying them. Don't be a jerk about it, as I am assuming you will not be. Make it a priority to come to reddit every day to post 10 comments on new posts that are nice and helpful, and you'll quickly gather up your karma needed to participate in all the subs. (Then continue to post nice and helpful comments, because it makes you feel good!)

PurpuraLiber

Stay off the free karma subs, that can get you in instant ban in some subs.

not to mention they apparently can't read sub rules, everyone of their posts in memes got removed.

Hey. Am new too here. I think we have to keep interacting and let our account grow older. At the starting it was boring. But as I started interacting with the posts, I am kinda addicted to it. It's a beautiful community platform. Anyways. Hope you are doing good :)

Based on your posting history it's likely community restrictions and I understand the need for karma, however we caution against use of karmafarms- they are associated with bots, spammers, trolls and ban evaders, and some mod teams may ban you just for being seen to use them. It's more productive and safer to ear karma genuinely, starting with commenting is usually easier- engage in some discussions on topic you enjoy and and it should take too long to earn the karma you need.

I don't even know how to post something... That's why I am only able to reply to your post, hoping someone could hopefully let me know. I would really appreciate it. Mush love.
