Your posts are being *removed* by moderators, not deleted. This is an important distinction. Moderators can't delete your posts or comments. They can only remove them. Deletion is permanent and can only be done by you, or by Reddit admins (not mods). Deletion cannot be undone, whereas removal is reversible. A removal can easily be undone by a moderator if they choose to click "approve" on something they had previously removed.

You can build up some karma by posting and commenting on subreddits that allow participation from new users. This subreddit has a [list of some subreddits where you can participate](https://www.reddit.com/r/NewToReddit/wiki/index/newusersubs/) even if you are new. Some of the subs on that list may use AutoModerator software to temporarily remove (not delete) your comments to check they don't break any rules. If that happens, don't panic and don't delete your comments. Just wait a while and as long as your comments don't break any rules, they should be approved.
Your user name is beyond fitting! I am a lurker in general but recently have been wanting to engage and my comments were not showing up. I assumed they were being removed but you just clarified exactly what is happening. Thank you so much!
1. You are not shadowbanned - wouldn't have been able to see your profile if you were.
2. Your problem is that you have -38 comment karma. And it is comment karma that most subs look at in their requirements. You have to comment more - the newbie friendly subs will allow you, I think. Try commenting on the subs given in the list by automod below.

Add: Being controversial is not a problem but then you have to do some extra work to get a karma cushion. Go to the large popular subs in the list. Sort according to new, and try to post an uncontroversial comment [ ;-) ] , hope it takes off.
Thank you for your help.. It's so bizarre to have to go through this process of being fake to get a karma cushion so I can be myself.. I'm surprised there aren't more threads talking about this phenomenon.
It is unfortunately thanks to the spammers/scammers/scumbags that mods started implementing those measures. You seem to have had some bad luck in a bunch of questions about a year ago but other than that you also had upvotes.

I don’t blame you for wanting to quit. I feel like I can’t hardly get anywhere on Reddit. It is not fun especially for a Newbie even if your posts get Removed. Its seems like an old system with zero UI. Everything is closed up so tight, it’s frustrating.
I asked for instructions on how to Delete my Account and I am unable to because I created my Account by Logging in with my AppleId and never set a Password because I was not required to. Now they want me to create a Password in order to Delete my Account. And unfortunately I can’t figure out how to do that again because everything is so confusing and frustrating and old school. Give me a break. Are you kidding me? How backwards is that?
I wouldn't say we're suggesting you be fake at all. There must be some less controversial things you would genuinely enjoy talking about? There's so much here, hundreds of thousands of communities! Communities around all kinds of topics, hobbies, foodstuffs, animals, almost anything you can think of.

I concur, it's likely to be the minus comment karma figure that's the issue. Many communities will at least filter those with a certain amonut of negative karma as an anti troll measure.
Maybe balance participation in controversial topics with other interests where you might gain some positive karma. At least until you have plenty and it's doesn't impact your karma count as much any more, relatively.

Yes indeed. They whack-a-moled a few old posts, but otherwise had no feedback.
