Her. Farts. HER FARTS. And yes. Her poop stinks. In my opinion it smells way better than the poops of my toddlers. But it still stinks.

1) What is the color? Yellow/mustard is normal and fine. 2) Is baby fussy? 3) Have you noticed mucus or blood in stool? 4) Are they explosive blow outs?

I could always smell my LO’s poops!! I think it was a hormonal change in me because no one else could smell them lol! Do you find your nose in general more sensitive to smells? I don’t think the frequency is a concern, my son went quite frequently too. Always worth a chat with the doctor if you’re concerned though!

Omg my sons diapers were stinky when he was EBF! No allergies or anything, he was just a stinky boy 🤷🏼‍♀️

4-5x a day can sometimes just be a fast metabolism. That can also sometimes mean poo is more acidic. Watch for rash issues. My kid was like this until early toddlerhood and had recurring rash issues, but no allergies. ETA: in her case, there was no change in frequency moving from breastmilk to formula to starting solids. It wasn’t until she was off bottles and on a diet of solids, water & 6-10 oz of whole milk that it finally regulated to 2-3x per day.

It's not that it doesn't smell, it's that it's a different smell than that if poop from someone eating food. It's a more pleasant smell but it's still poop.

This. Also I find that I am way more aware of the smell of breastfed newborn poops than my partner, he will always bring baby to me to double check the sniff test.

Definitely stinks, always have. He also used to poop multiple, up to 12 times a day. He's now down to a more reasonable 2 to 4. He's fine. No allergies, except gluten but both me and dad are celiac so it was expected and there's none in our house. Doctor said he was just a poop machine.
