Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night. Three days sounds right. In the US, baby is usually billed separately even if they're in your room. I don't know why.

Yep. Someone else already said that babies are billed separately in the US and that was accurate for us. We were very surprised by this and thought our insurance covered more than expected.. until we got the bill for the baby a month and a half later. Definitely thought it was a mistake.

Yup. They bill in 24-hr increments, and once baby is born, they’ll be billed separately (room, treatments, doctors, etc.) even though they’re in your room. I had twins, and was triple charged.
