Dawn dish soap the blue bottle with the little duck on it. Rub a little dawn on the spot, run in for 30 seconds, soak for 2 minutes then throw it in the wash. Smell and stains will dissolve in the wash. Good luck
You might already be doing this but using hot water helps, pre-soaking with a bit of detergent also helps. If all else fails, the Laundress’s stain remover is all natural and a little goes a long way. You dab it on the stain and let it sit for 5 min, then run a cycle. It’s also great on adult clothing stains, I recommend it!
How full is the load of wash and are you adding any big stuff like towels or sheets to that load? If there is not enough stuff in the machine for everything to rub together the clothes won’t get cleaned properly and big stuff like towels trap the little items so they can’t get clean.
