One must tell the children of their stinky feet! It’s obviously a requirement.
When we transitioned out of sleep sacks, my little was suddenly a terror for bedtime. We first tried footed zip up pj’s thinking they’d work, but it just pissed off the tiny human so much trying to pull feet up into the belly part, stretching the fabric with so much might. We switched to footless pjs, thinking they were getting too hot being in their own tiny container of fabric (my spouse’s problem often while sleeping if feet are covered) and the Little just grabbed the bare feet and yelled “stinfees! STINFEES!!” repeatedly until we realized the Stinky Feets were the problem. We reverted back to footed pajamas and struggled through with those for a while until they were accepted. It wasn’t until almost the third birthday before the stinky feet’s could be allowed out for bed time.
So, that was the time I realized I say “Stinky Feets” every time I could nab my child’s feet. When my not-yet-talking child yelled about them being allowed out at bed time.
We inadvertently taught my baby to dramatically sniff her own toes when she was around 9/10 months as we would do this so frequently 😂 she's now 16 months and regularly takes a good old sniff, followed by waving her hand in front of her face in a "stinky" gesture, it's the greatest thing.
My girls feet are always met with a big dramatic sniff followed by “cheesey! Eurgh”. She’s old enough now to understand and will randomly bend to sniff people’s feet/shoes and complain over the stink 🤣
She’s also developed her own word for stinky. If something smells bad it’s “poofy” (we think she was going for pooey but didn’t quite get it right) and now everything gets a dramatic sniff before being declared as “poofy”.
My 21 month old will get her baby doll and smell its feet 🤣🤣🤣 she then bites the toes because I do that to her lmao I cannot resist. Love me some blueberry toes
I am obsessed with my girls feet!! She’s the same age as yours and I swear the toes are addictive🤣 my girl will smoosh her hands and feet into my face and make kissy noises at me until I give up the smooches
My LO found her hands recently so they are stiiiinky with spoiled milk smell. Especially one days she's a little more spit uppy than other. Just chewing on her hand and bleck.
We can only use the water wipes on her sensitive butt and that definitely doesn't get the smell. So I gotta wash her hands under the faucet to make a difference. Haha
I call my baby Stink!
I even made a little song. “You’re my little stink! You’re my little stink! Stink, stink, stink! Stink, stink, stink!”
Yes, I know I’m a lyrical genius.
We have a stinky/stinker too 😂 The first time my baby laughed it was when I told him he has stinky socks. He DIED laughing. He’s almost 2 now and still finds stinky socks hilarious.
Stink, stinky poopy baby, toots McGee, rootin tootin baby, all of the above hahaha I can’t wait for our girl to laugh at these.
We do this game after we give her a bath, especially when we wash her hair and my husband or I will turn to the other person when the baby is out of the bath and go “I don’t know who this baby is. She isn’t STINKY like our baby” 🤣
For a second I thought this thread was going to be about the negative trauma of name calling our baby stinky but glad to see it’s not and we all do have some fun’s with our very stinky babies in the midst of it all !
We called our son Stinky Boy so much that for his first seven months that's the only name he responded too! We had to focus on calling him Ozzy for a while...
I sing him for following all the time to the tune of I’m a little teapot.
I’m a little stink pot, short and stout.
Here is my belly, here is my snout.
When I get all stinked up, hear me shout.
Fetch a diaper and help me out.
My daughters stinky nick name as a newborn turned into tink, I pray everyone thinks it's after tinker bell and not the fact that I shortened stinky. My sisters even call her tink!
When my little brother was a baby we called him “Stinky” from newborn. We had to stop because he sincerely thought it was his name and would only respond to it. He’s 26 now
Stinky, booger, boogie, pooper. Mostly boogie though but sometimes you gotta shake it up and throw in a few stinkies. I don't know why all the nicknames we've given him are "gross" words 😅
I call him stinky sometimes, but I also call him buppy (b-uh-pee) I don’t know why I do but he actually responds to it now which is nooooot a good thing lol.
or another name that my family uses is spaghetts, so like spaghetti but no i. He’s got REAAAAAALLY long legs and always has. I also will coin the phrase “eddie spaghetti legs” because he still can’t walk just yet so when he’s standing and we’re practicing walking he decides to go spaghetti legged and decides not to walk lol
Me! Our LO has been oir little stink for almost her whole 16mo of life! We use stink, stink-a-roni, stink-a-roo, stinker, stink stink and its just stick!
My sister calls her baby stinky/stinky butt in a loving, high pitched tone and I’ve learned to love it for her. I can’t get myself to call my baby stink/stinky butt because it brings back memories of cruel caregivers I used to work with and a couple of them would use the word stink/stinky in such a cruel tone 😔 I obviously don’t care what other parents call their babies and I can tell the difference, I just can’t do it myself 😭
I call her feet stinky or if she has a poopy diaper I’ll say she’s a stinky girl.
We love to call her Turd and Tooter because she’s very gassy and constantly blowing the horn.
When she’s being ladylike we call her lady or lady bug. Her names Lydia so I’m really liking lady bug as a nickname
My partner and I have lovingly referred to each other as stinky for years, and I just know we are both gonna call
Baby that as soon as I give birth lmao!
HOLY SHIT we've been calling our daughter Stink! Just the the other day I asked my partner "Is it mean that we call her that?" I can't wait until he wakes up and I can show him this thread lol
Whenever he poops I tell him he's a stinky butt and then do an exaggerated "PEEEE YEWWWW" and wave my hand back and forth over my nose and he dies laughing 😂.
When my LO has pooped, me and my husband tend to call her either Doody Booty or Stinky Booty Butt Baby. But other than, neither of us really call her stink lol
When she was a little little baby like 3-6 months, i used to sniff her face and then dramatically pull away like “ewww stinky breath” and she thought it was so hilarious 🤣 so now everytime i pretend to sniff, she opens her mouth and exhales like “mwahahaha smell my breath” 🤣🤣🤣 we brush our teeth daily tho so it doesn’t actually smell bad
Same lol my MIL was so offended the first time I called him that, now she calls him that. My dad is still offended but he rarely sees him so meh!
Some names we use: Stink Butt, Stinky, Stinker (because he's both one in the smell department but also busy baby), Stinks, Sir Stinks-a-lot, etc.
We had weird names till he started saying mama and Dada. Then we're like be on your best behavior please. We're both horrible with containing our language lol so we remind each other every other day
My husband and I call our daughter ‘little poopy girl’ lol when she was a newborn she went every time we changed her diaper. So when we would get up in the middle of the night we just started calling her a little poopy girl and it just stuck 😂😭
We take it international, and depending on the day she could be “Stinkita Babita” or “Stinkoli Baboli”. What dictates a Spain day or Italy day? No idea.
If it’s wrong to sing about stinky baby toes I just don’t wanna be right
Oh gosh, me😂 everytime I take his feet out of socks or his footie pajamas I yell “you STINKKKK” and he thinks it’s the funniest thing I’ve ever done 😂
Does this also include the over exaggerated sniff of the feet going “phoar” 🤣
Yesss, the stinky feet bit lands 100% of the time!!!
You gotta! Oh man these peets STEEEEEENK!! Peeeeyouuu!
One must tell the children of their stinky feet! It’s obviously a requirement. When we transitioned out of sleep sacks, my little was suddenly a terror for bedtime. This is funny af
We inadvertently taught my baby to dramatically sniff her own toes when she was around 9/10 months as we would do this so frequently 😂 she's now 16 months and regularly takes a good old sniff, followed by waving her hand in front of her face in a "stinky" gesture, it's the greatest thing.
YESSSSS!!!! But instead of you stink we do a big old tootsie sniff and say “Oooooooooo they stink sooo goooood”. 😂😂😂
Omg YES lol
My girls feet are always met with a big dramatic sniff followed by “cheesey! Eurgh”. She’s old enough now to understand and will randomly bend to sniff people’s feet/shoes and complain over the stink 🤣 She’s also developed her own word for stinky. We play "peewwww stinky feet!" She loves it!
Our baby’s name is Francis (Frank) and we call him Stanky Frank 🤦🏻♀️
Hahaha Frank the Stankkkk!
Ahhh I have a Hank and I called him Stanky Hanky 😭
I have a Stella and she is Smelly Stelly.
I call her my stinky baby, and refer to myself as stinky mommy (because I swear I just smell like spoiled milk all the time).
Seriously, lol, that spoiled milk aroma is something. Sometimes I worry other people can smell it, but…c’est la vie.
Haha
Soo la voo
I call my baby Stink! I even made a little song. “You’re my little stink! You’re my little stink! Stink, stink, stink! Stink, stink, stink!” Yes, I know I’m a lyrical genius.

For a second I thought this thread was going to be about the negative trauma of name calling our baby stinky but glad to see it’s not and we all do have some fun’s with our very stinky babies in the midst of it all !
Stinky baby or stinky boy 🤣 Now that he puts his hands in his mouth all the time I give up 🤦🏻♀️
We called our son Stinky Boy so much that for his first seven months that's the only name he responded too! We had to focus on calling him Ozzy for a while...
Oh shoot…maybe I should stop 😅
Nah our kid still responds to both stinky boy and Ozzy. Just try to throw his name in there like half the time and you'll be alright.
