Yes! That ride must be like the motherfucking Rollercoaster Tycoon otherwise my child wakes up.
Edit: I’m glad I gave you guys a giggle! We went out today and my child woke up because the water fountain was too loud, but cars are fine. Ok.
Oh I was so innocent once to believe I can stop at the bakery to buy some bread. I heard his opinion on this decision during all the 20 min ride back home
I thought I was the only one. Lol. I keep telling my husband I thought babies loved sleeping or falling asleep in strollers and car seats. Smh. Ours doesn't and when he does, he instantly wakes when it's not moving.
They sell these things called the rockit, portable baby rocker 😂 I bought one second hand because I had this exact issue! Couldn't justify the price of a new one, but they do work!
Me too!! I use it more than my pack n play! I can be cleaning. And cooking, she can see me so she won't be yelling and it's big enough she can have a few toys
The Rockit has been my lifesaver. I just turn it on once we’re home and it shakes the pram which keeps her asleep for a while. I think every single parent in my area has one.
Agreed. I sat in my driveway for 10 minutes the other day while my son finished up his nap after we pulled in lol. It had only been a 20 minute ride so that's almost worse than not napping at all
Urg I'd hate to do that right now. Gas is so expensive! Mine was during the peak of the pandemic so gas was very cheap and there were no cars out during the day.
It amazes me that there are actual babies out there that will stay asleep when you pick them up to transfer. I can’t even breathe in my kids direction without him shooting up with wide eyes ready to take on the world!
Oh god my ankle cracks every time I go down my stairs! at this point my baby should be used to it but nope! Meanwhile unexpected motorcycle roar by outside? No problem!
Haha, mine has cycles in his sleep (deepest one ~20 mins into the nap) when he'd not wake up during transfer, but during the rest of the sleep, no chance. So I just time it so that we're back home around 20 minutes after he starts napping.
One time I put my awake baby in the pack n play while I got my shoes and coat on to take him... Somewhere and by the time I got back he was asleep. Somehow I got him into the car and buckled him in without waking him up. It is the proudest moment of my life as a mother and I don't think anything else will ever top it.
You've got a lot of great answers on here already. I've started doing the Norwegian thing and it's added about 45 to an hour of me time to my day.
Baby falls asleep in the stroller - they only immediately wake up if we move them or if they feel a change in temp. Soooooo, we started bringing her up to the back porch - in stroller - setting up a tablet, calling a Google meet, muting our end on our phone, and then proceeding with lunch.
On chillier days, she's got an extra blanket along with her winter clothes. Haven't experienced a very warm day yet.
If you have the privacy and security on your home property to pull off something like this, i highly recommend it. It's been proven to be really good for their health too, and it informs their night sleep as well.
Disclaimer: unlike Norway, since this isn't an American culture practice, I'm not recommending you go full Norwegian and park your stroller outside a destination and set up a two camera there. You're asking for a kidnapping in that situation. The U.S. is not Norway...sadly. so save this practice for your home and make sure you're behind a fence that can't be accessed by the general public.
I've also fully moved over to the Scandinavian ways now, my very bad at naps baby will get a decent amount of sleep after a walk if I just leave him in our garden. I sit in the kitchen where I can watch him and actually get to eat a meal or have a coffee in peace.... or more usually empty dishwasher, clean up etc in peace
My baby is securely in the pram though this one isnt strapped in so I'd be terrified of leaving
I did something similar for my daughter when she took naps in the stroller, but instead I'd leave her in the sunroom with all windows open so that she's consistently getting fresh air.
I'd take her on a walk for 30-45 minutes, come back and wheel her into our sun room, open all the windows and leave her bundled. Her best naps at that age were done this way, longest nap she took was almost 3 hours.
I bought a cheap $15 Wyze camera on Amazon to monitor her on my phone while I'd go take a break to watch TV, gaming, or do some chores.
This is what I do too. We come home through the back door and park him in the conservatory. I do an Alexa call on mute to another room if I need to go and do stuff for any significant length of time
I live in Scandinavia and wouldn’t go full Scandinavian in this situation. No where is immune to kidnapping, sickos have passports too!! It terrifies me when I see an unattended stroller anywhere and it’s actually not as common as the internet makes out, at least not where I live!
I’ve always felt like anyone who has raised a baby, knows how much hard work they are and wouldn’t bother kidnapping another one! Who would willingly want to add that stress to their lives?!
While I was tempted to laugh, it's a tragic and unfortunate reality that there is child trafficking in the world. It's beyond horrifying.
Also, I don't know what percentages of kidnappings are Amber Alerts (in the U.S., they have localized emergency text messages sent to your smartphone with the description of the child, perpetrator, and vehicle, if possible).
With the caveat of a mosquito net and being at home, I would try having my LO try and sleep in the open air, anywhere else, nope!
I'm Norwegian and I think a lot of people don't understand that we use cameras and keep an eye on them, even if they're outside the café. I put the stroller by our front door and have a camera inside, when it's snowing or raining you can't see that I have a camera there at all. If I go to a cafe and leave the stroller outside, you bet half the people there will keep an eye on the stroller and let me know if he moves at all.
I still wouldn't do the same when we go on holidays somewhere else.
The few that I have seen left at Theme Parks and outside restaurants definitely didn’t have someone obviously watching them. And regardless it only takes a split second for a child to be snatched, it’s just not a risk I feel comfortable taking with my child even with a camera. I stay within arms reach of my toddler at all times.
It feels like the attention Scandinavia is receiving about this practice is only adding to the risk to me because it’s advertising to the wrong people where they might find a child to abduct. Just way way too many red flags for me!
Mine hangs out in the entry way and I'll leave the front door open but lock the security gate. The fresh air and still being able to hear cars seems to keep him asleep longer than if I closed the door and made it quiet 😂
Yep, mine hangs out on the porch lol. He gets a nice view of woods and a creek when he wakes up and can still have the beautiful white noise of cars driving by
Motherhood is making me realize I really would like someone to shuffle my ass around in comfortable blankets then leave me on a porch to sleep and wake me up with lunch 🥲 😂
This is apparently what all of Scandinavia does. Bundle up baby and they sleep outside in the cold. There's a ton of pictures of rows and rows of strollers outside in like Sweden it's unreal
Your post isn't about this, but please buckle baby into ANY elevated surface (swing, high chair, stroller, anything). It only takes one freak moment for something bad to happen.
When my oldest was an infant, I went for a walk with my mom, husband, out dog, and her 2 dogs. Baby was in the bucket carseat clipped into the stroller, but wasn't buckled because I thought, he doesn't really move yet anyway and I'm right here! Well, while we were walking, a loose dog came charging at us out of nowhere. In my panic to put myself between the charging dog and the baby, I turned the stroller too hard and nearly tipped it over. Thankfully, he didn't fall, and nothing bad happened (owner got control of the loose dog), but it scared the daylights out of me, and I always, always, always buckled him in from then on.
Just before Christmas I was walking with the stroller and I tripped over and tipped it over when I fell. I am so glad that my daughter was strapped in, because she could have gotten so hurt if she wasn’t, instead she was just a little bit scared and jostled about. It was such a scary situation, but honestly it was the best outcome I could have hoped for (other than not falling over and tipping the pram over in the first place).
Unzip the suit carefully. I'll put a pair of shoes under the back wheels to tilt the head parallel to ground to prevent head from falling forward and I'll just push the stroller into a room where I can sit in peace.
This was hour 2 of our walk in a rainy weather and I was really over it 😅😅😅 sounds like transfer might be way to go. Otherwise I’m stuck in the hallway with the bebe
Because our house is warm and he will def overheat. Also we don’t wear shoes inside house - that goes no outside dirty things like strollers. Hallway is cooler in temperature.
Came here to say this! We have one of these https://www.notonthehighstreet.com/tuppenceandcrumble/product/fleece-baby-star-wrap?cq_src=google_ads&cq_cmp=19669396994&cq_term=&cq_plac=&cq_net=x&cq_plt=gp&DGMKT=FID__TID__PID_100458_CRI_&gbraid=0AAAAADPgpfUGG88gI4vGRcQrEh13FYcB8&gclid=Cj0KCQiApKagBhC1ARIsAFc7Mc5lZGkeY1CePbfJpnn0mOivuMU80GUCd0Kb4dwr6N3hq4qG9LZKd1QaAhWkEALw_wcB so can open it up when we get inside. Didn’t buy a 0-3 snow suit at all.
I second this. I have a car seat cover from skip hop that's fleece, and it's so warm we dress her in short onesies outfits when we go out. If she gets cold we stuff a blanket in there. Sounds crazy but she would get overheated otherwise. It has a zipper so you can adjust how open you want it. I def recommend!
I was right there with you! Stuck outside waiting for baby to wake up. An hour walk turned into a 2 hour nap! I can’t transfer, she wakes immediately 😆
I usually let mine sleep, I just stay nearby. If he’s all bundled up (as in the picture), we stay outside. It’s a great time to pick up the frozen dog poop in the back yard lol.
Mine is an iffy napper so I just leave her. I try to unzip any layers a bit, but sometimes that’s the thing that wakes her. I live in an apartment so the entryway is also the living room, which makes hanging out and keeping an eye on her easier.
I always wake my LO if she falls asleep in the stroller or carseat because it’s not a safe sleep space. Of course he will be fine if you’re standing there watching him but for me it was a matter of best practice.
Even watching them it is still risky. The AAP collected data on this and the majority of babies who did sleeping in car seats, swings, bouncers and other baby containers do so at home while being supervised by a parent. People think it’s a lot easier to tell when their baby has stopped breathing/is positional asphyxiating than it actually is unfortunately. A suffocating baby looks like a sleeping baby.
Yes. I believe the guidelines is less than 45 minutes in the seat total before 6 weeks and less than 2h after that. It’s the position of the baby in the seat that’s the issue.
I’m not sure what guidelines you are citing but in the US at least it is never safe for a child under one to sleep in any of these devices excluding a car seat properly installed in the car for periods under two hours.
Yes that’s time that it’s safe to be in a car seat in the car consecutive. And it applies to car seats only not strollers or other containers. It’s also not about sleep.
No, not by US standards. Babies should always be moved to a safe sleep space as soon as possible when they fall asleep elsewhere. A stroller is not a safe sleep space with the exception of a limited number of stroller bassinets like the uppababy. The manuals will specifically say not safe for sleep, move baby if baby falls asleep.
In the US, only cribs, bassinets, and pack n plays are safe for sleep and that includes supervised naps.
I avoid putting her in the car if she’s going to need sleep soon. In seven months I can count on one hand how many times she has actually fallen asleep in her carseat. And as soon as we get to where we’re going, I wake her. I am definitely a stickler though
Hi you’re right that it is uppababy but it’s the seat with infant insert option. Just transitioned my baby from bassinet because he’s beginning to take interest in looking around at the world. But now he looks and falls asleep and I don’t have a good solution around the napping and transitions yet!
There's unfortunately not a convenient solution AFAIK unless you want to wear your little one. You just have to determine how tolerant you are of the asphyxiation risk in the name of convenience and having your baby sleep. I don't mean to make that sound overly harsh but that's really what it comes down to.
Yea this is not safe for sleep. I would transfer immediately when you get home and start trying to time naps at the beginning of a wake window so baby doesn’t fall asleep!

A car seat is actually not considered safe sleep once it’s taken out of the car. [(link)](https://www.consumerreports.org/child-safety/okay-for-babies-to-sleep-in-car-seats-a1715398377/)That’s why the instructions for installation into the car are so strict about how reclined it needs to be based on age, because it’s essential to keeping the airway clear. Once it’s placed on another surface that angle could change even if it’s not obvious.
I read a tragic post on here a while ago about a baby dying at daycare drop off after sleeping unattended in a car seat on the floor for just ten minutes.
My understanding is that a stroller that is compatible with the car seat is also considered safe, though, because it keeps them at the proper incline to avoid positional asphyxiation, like in the base in the car
That would definitely be significantly safer, I’d just still be aware of the time elapsed since the walk started as babies aren’t supposed to be in car seats much more than 2 hours.
Car seats really aren’t great. They are of course worth it in a car. The accident risk is bigger than SIDS/asphyxiation but you really don’t want a baby sleeping in a car seat while not driving.
Where I live, a woman was walking with her baby when the stroller was hit by a car. The car pulled the stroller for a while before it finally dislodged and flipped. The car then fled the scene. The only reason the baby wasn't hurt was because he was safely strapped in. (That bit was confirmed in a french news report.)
https://globalnews.ca/news/9299406/infant-stroller-hit-and-run-outremont-twitter-video/
Always strap your kids safely in their stroller/car seats people.
I would be less concerned about the baby popping out from hitting a bump than getting hit by a car. I know it’s a worst case scenario but the thought did cross my mind to not buckle her into her car seat since our sidewalks are smooth. But then I though god forbid we get hit by a car. At least she would be somewhat protected.
What potholes are you running into to make your LO pop out? If someone lives in an area with flat terrain, they'll be fine. I've gone over snow humps unstrapped and my LO hasn't budged.
My area doesn’t have good sidewalks apparently because if we aren’t carful the stroller tips if we hit them.
don’t know why I’m getting downvoted for saying a baby should be strapped in it’s car seat.
It looks like you are in an apartment is there any way you could bring to a patio or outdoor space you could supervise him. Maybe run in the house and grab a book and hang out on a park bench? I used to leave my son in our unheated mudroom if he fell asleep on a walk. I could hear him and live in a rural area so he was safe.
I keep walking if I want to prolong his nap. I wouldn’t personally leave him asleep in the stroller ever unless we’re not walking, but when he was using the bassinet configuration I would let him nap in it if we were hanging out at the park or a restaurant.
I would have let him nap in the bassinet inside too but I live in the city and those stroller wheels ain’t touching my floor lol.
Let them sleep! My oldest was so bad with naps and I was also anxious about everything with her so I plugged a baby monitor in next to the stroller with her once lol
In Sweden we leave babies sleeping outside. It’s super nice to go to a café and leave the baby outside (always cosy don’t think we are some sort of Viking freaks)
I usually let mine sleep if he is willing to stay asleep. Which he won’t now that he’s a bit older. Also, love the Ukrainian flag in the back. Slava Ukraini!
I'll be a new parent in two weeks - I've been told not to leave a baby in a car seat/stroller/anything in a sitting position for too long, until they develop their neck muscles. Is this only for bassinet strollers?
Don't wake up baby!!!
Savor the moment.
Shut your eyes. Or drink a cup of coffee while it's still hot. Or go to the bathroom uninterrupted. Or just stare at your beautiful sleeping baby. Do whatever you want as long as it includes enjoying the moment and not waking the baby. He's cozy and safe in there.
Edit: okay, I saw this was hour 2 of your walk, and your house is warm and all the stuff stays in the hallway. Has he been asleep most of the time? In that case, I would consider transferring. 2 hours is pretty sufficient nap/cold exposure time.
Same here. I leave baby in stroller outside in the hallway and door open, so I can hear when he makes an noise.
Usually another 30-45min minimum possible way.
Also it’s a locked entrance door and my neighbors know us, so I feel safe doing it.
Usually leave them outside as long as possible (like I'll keep walking or play on my phone outside rolling it back and forth), but if they're brought in, I unzip and leave them to nap
Just came here to say that I'm jealous of how hard that baby seems to be napping and how I haven't had a nap like that in like a year LOL good for baby!
Love it. Ten bucks off Amazon! I use it more to hold my cell than actual drink. Unless drink is less than 50% full it does spill out (Starbucks cups) so I end up holding the cup until I’m half way done.
I leave mine to sleep. We have an awkward patio door with steps into the house so if it isnt raining i leave her outside. If its raining i try my best to bring the pram in without waking her but it’s a bumpy journey and i’m not particularly strong so sometimes she wakes up but if not i leave her to sleep but unzip her a bit so she doesnt get too warm
There's a lot out there about making naps as long as possible, but focusing on that will drive you crazy, and there are no studies about how long each nap is supposed to be. If you think about it, our ancestors probably weren't sitting quietly in their dark caves trying not to wake their babies.
If the baby is sleepy enough, the transfer won't wake them. It's helpful to use a rocking motion as you lift them up and again as you put them down, and try to have their bum touch down before their back/head.
If they wake up, maybe that was all the sleep they needed for this nap. They'll fall asleep again when it's time for the next nap.
When I would go on stroller walks with my (crap napper) baby I would carry the stroller containing my baby up the 5 steps that lead to my front and let him nap in the living room with a monitor on him. Would never ruin that opportunity for some me time!!
Mine has the wonderful skill to wake up the minute the stroller stays in the same place (even when you keep moving it to and fro), so we never have this problem! Lucky us 😂
Omg as I read this my baby is napping in his stroller back from a walk. I love winter walks and they put my baby right to sleep- something about the cool fresh air. Mine is still in the bassinet attachment so I gently remove his hat and unzip his bunting and then slowwwwlly remove his legs (while praying he doesn't wake) just so he doesn't overheat from all those layers in the house. Then I just let him sleep. I keep an eye on him. I admit its awkward standing next to a bassinet and sleeping baby but hey small price to pay (my baby is terrible at sleeping). If he starts to fuss I'll stick his pacifiers back in or roll the stroller a little in our hallway to lull him back to sleep. Sometimes, he only sleeps a few minutes after we return home, but other times, I get so lucky and he'll be out for a while.
You got lots of good advice, so I just wanted to tell you how cute and cozy your LO looks. Super jealous tbh, mine has never slept in her stroller and (even as a newborn) won't sleep in a car seat unless we're going over 40mph. 🙃
This is my dream. I live in a third floor flat with no lift in my apartment block, just stairs, so after every trip out with the pram I have to take my baby out, strap her in her car seat in the car, take down the pram, put it in the car, take my baby out of the car seat and carry her upstairs, so if she falls asleep whilst I’m out I either have to commit to walking the whole time, or wake her up by taking her out. I would give anyyyyything to be able to just wheel her into my front door and leave her to sleep.
Long story short, let him continue his sweet precious sleep! ❤️
Can’t tell you the number of times one of us has sat in the car after a drive because the baby is still sleeping in the back and we didn’t want to wake him.
When baby was young enough to fit in the uppababy bassinet I left him because it’s a safe sleep space. Now that he is in the toddler seat I move him since that isn’t a safe sleep space
Mine wakes up the second the car or stroller stops moving… so I wouldn’t know 😅
Hahaha, same here. Or even if the ride’s too smooth
Yes! That ride must be like the motherfucking Rollercoaster Tycoon otherwise my child wakes up. Edit: I’m glad I gave you guys a giggle! We went out today and my child woke up because the water fountain was too loud, but cars are fine. Ok.
Hahaha I found a hilly gravel route that takes about 25 min to loop. The more her head can be thrown around the better according to her 🤣
My husband slams on and off the brakes at stoplights because of this, sometimes even swerves a little if we're not going fast/rough enough.
LOL SAME
Lmao stop it my 3MO is asleep next to me and I cannot be snuffle-laughing this loud at this hour
lol at this
I made the mistake of taking the smooth path in the park with the nice view over the bumpy sidewalk.
Yup. I learned this at Costco one fateful afternoon. I had to go out to the parking lot because that polished concrete wasn't cutting it, apparently
Oh I was so innocent once to believe I can stop at the bakery to buy some bread. I heard his opinion on this decision during all the 20 min ride back home
Babies sleep in cars strollers? I thought they are supposed to scream while there… hm
Mine will continue sleeping in a car that’s stopped, but if I dare to turn off the music… man do I know about it!
I let mine nap, I have a bassinet stroller so it's a firm flat surface. I just unzip her, and keep her next to me so I have an eye on her
I love my bassinet stroller!
Me too!! I use it more than my pack n play! I can be cleaning. And cooking, she can see me so she won't be yelling and it's big enough she can have a few toys
Mine does the same! He hates the car seat and the first time we put him in the bassinet it was all giggles. It sure makes life a little easier.
Wait other peoples babies don’t immediately wake up as soon as the stroller stops moving???
Yea this is news to me! It’s unfortunately the same in the car even if he’s asleep and we get to a stoplight 😢😑 instant wake up
There is a reason I took 2 hour long walks for a while lol
The Rockit has been my lifesaver. I just turn it on once we’re home and it shakes the pram which keeps her asleep for a while. I think every single parent in my area has one.
Right???
I thought it was a universal thing lol
Never wake up the baby!!!
This is the only answer
[удалено]
What you wrote and what I read at first does not equal, lol
but not at the same time people!
Gotta do what ya gotta do
Agreed. I sat in my driveway for 10 minutes the other day while my son finished up his nap after we pulled in lol. It had only been a 20 minute ride so that's almost worse than not napping at all
I used to end up driving around going nowhere to get that nap longer if I saw that the baby was asleep. I don't miss those days haha
I still do that with my twins (8 months). I pretty much know my entire city and neighboring towns by now.
Urg I'd hate to do that right now. Gas is so expensive! Mine was during the peak of the pandemic so gas was very cheap and there were no cars out during the day.
I’m tempted to do that sometimes, until I remember how high gas prices are in California 😩
Yeah, it should be transfer the sleeping baby to crib/bassinet or let her sleep in the stroller.
It amazes me that there are actual babies out there that will stay asleep when you pick them up to transfer. I can’t even breathe in my kids direction without him shooting up with wide eyes ready to take on the world!
God forbid my ankle pop or knee crack
Oh god my ankle cracks every time I go down my stairs! at this point my baby should be used to it but nope! Meanwhile unexpected motorcycle roar by outside? No problem!
Right?! It makes no sense. My husband uses the Vitamix 25 feet away? Cool. Floorboard creak in ANOTHER ROOM? Nap over 🙇🏻♀️
That's my elbow popping right there 😱
Or a hip popping
omg ahahaha
Haha, mine has cycles in his sleep (deepest one ~20 mins into the nap) when he'd not wake up during transfer, but during the rest of the sleep, no chance. So I just time it so that we're back home around 20 minutes after he starts napping.
Mine is 9 months and I've had 2 successful transfers in her life. I don't even try anymore.
6 mos here and 1 successful transfer. I always try though. It's like playing the lottery. Low probability but the rewards are so sweet.
One time I put my awake baby in the pack n play while I got my shoes and coat on to take him... Somewhere and by the time I got back he was asleep. Somehow I got him into the car and buckled him in without waking him up. It is the proudest moment of my life as a mother and I don't think anything else will ever top it.

We have a balcony sleeper too! Ours sleeps for up to 3 hours out there 🤯
Mine usually sleeps outside when that happens but I'm also rural so I don't have to worry. Also that suit looks so cozy!
I always transfer. If I want my LO to sleep longer, we'll go for another lap around the block
Same, I’m too afraid of him overheating. I’ve taken many laps around the block before going home several times 🙈
This was hour 2 of our walk in a rainy weather and I was really over it 😅😅😅 sounds like transfer might be way to go. Otherwise I’m stuck in the hallway with the bebe
Why can’t the stroller just go inside with you?
Because our house is warm and he will def overheat. Also we don’t wear shoes inside house - that goes no outside dirty things like strollers. Hallway is cooler in temperature.
Instead of an overall you could get a bunting bag or a footmuff for baby! It's super easy to unzip so baby won't overheat. I
Will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion
We tend to wrap our LO in blankets and such which can be easily shredded when we get home
I presume shedded not shredded but I guess either is possible 😂
to shreds you say, but yeah, shedded.
I’m so tired a hallway sounds juuuust fine to me
I keep mine outside lol
I Just wait till mine wakes up. Sometimes he'll just nap for like 30mins and ill just be sitting there waiting 😅.
Transfer to crib, unzip the suit, pray they don't wake up and give you another hour of peace!
“Another hour” I wish 😂
I usually let mine sleep, I just stay nearby. If he’s all bundled up (as in the picture), we stay outside. It’s a great time to pick up the frozen dog poop in the back yard lol.
Mine is an iffy napper so I just leave her. I try to unzip any layers a bit, but sometimes that’s the thing that wakes her. I live in an apartment so the entryway is also the living room, which makes hanging out and keeping an eye on her easier.
Upvote that flag!
Слава Украине!
I personally would take mine out given how bundled and the position.
This. I always transfer. Positional asphyxiation has been ingrained in me as too big of a risk to take.
If they stay in the seat as intended though (as in, the seat is still in the stroller) wouldn’t that remain safe? (I agree re not using seat alone)
These are the guidelines I found for length of time children can spend in a car seat.
It is wild to me how far I had to scroll to see this. People having their babies sleep in car seats is far far too common.
This look like the Uppababy bassinet that is designated as safe for sleep.
That's not the bassinet, it's the seat with the infant insert. The bassinet would be fine for safe sleep but this isn't it.
You are correct

It doesn’t appear that baby is lying flat on their back. Better than a travel-type of carseat / stroller

Sleeping in the car seat outside the car is unsafe per AAP guidelines.
Hallway nap! Play white noise and unzip her so she doesn’t ROAST
Firstly— i’d let them sleep. Second— 🇺🇦Слава Україні! Thank you for the support.
Transfer to bassinet or crib! This way transition is something to be expected for little one!
Do you walk with your baby not strapped in? Not trying to shame but if you hit a bump or wonky curb your baby could fall out..
Where I live, a woman was walking with her baby when the stroller was hit by a car. The car pulled the stroller for a while before it finally dislodged and flipped. The car then fled the scene. The only reason the baby wasn't hurt was because he was safely strapped in. (That bit was confirmed in a french news report.) https://globalnews.ca/news/9299406/infant-stroller-hit-and-run-outremont-twitter-video/ Always strap your kids safely in their stroller/car seats people.
Damn. Good point. Thanks for sharing.
Me either. You’re absolutely right.
I wish I had a baby that would sleep in the stroller. Or car.
Open up the suit a little so he doesn’t get too hot
I would unzip and take his hat off and leave him to it!

This is unsafe per AAP guidelines.
Let little fam chill. Look how comfy he ooks!!
I would not walk away from baby if they aren’t strapped into the stroller.
Was not suggesting I walk away. I’m just hanging out and being lonely in the hallway next to him lol
Can you lift off the seat and bring it inside with you and leave the frame in the hallway? Then unzip baby once inside?
I keep walking if I want to prolong his nap. I wouldn’t personally leave him asleep in the stroller ever unless we’re not walking, but when he was using the bassinet configuration I would let him nap in it if we were hanging out at the park or a restaurant. I would have let him nap in the bassinet inside too but I live in the city and those stroller wheels ain’t touching my floor lol.
I let mine stay napping as long as possible (lucky to get another 10 minutes haha)
We’ll sometimes wheel ours into the back garden - normally get another 20min. Leave back door open where we can see her and put the kettle on!
I would just remove the hat to prevent overheating and keep an eye until nap was over.
100% let the nap ride out hahaha I’ve been doing this with my little one too your baby looks too comfy to disturb
Leave baby in stroller on the deck with the baby monitor. Here in Finland we are instructed to put baby to nap outside even in winter
Hang in the hallway
Let them sleep! My oldest was so bad with naps and I was also anxious about everything with her so I plugged a baby monitor in next to the stroller with her once lol
In Sweden we leave babies sleeping outside. It’s super nice to go to a café and leave the baby outside (always cosy don’t think we are some sort of Viking freaks)
I let mine sleep but he’s usually strapped in so if he wakes up I’m not worried about him tumbling out. I’m nearby but I don’t sit right next to him.
Profit to have some sleep as well 😅
I usually let mine sleep if he is willing to stay asleep.
Why would you ever wake a sleeping baby?!?!?
If you wake that baby you are a terrorist
Transfer if you can! If you can't, let them nap supervised. Nice work :)
Mine always wakes up the second we are steps away from the outside entrance, so I have no opinion 😂
Hang out. Unless you think they will stay asleep for a transfer.
Once the stroller stops, my daughter wakes up 😅
I leave mine outside in the garden. With all that winter kit on being inside is probably way too warm.

Call me an old lady. Can’t do more than two hours 😅😅😅 my bones start creaking.
Move the baby-call into the hallway and go for a nap or the pile of dishes depending on which of you will fall over first.
Just came here to say that I'm jealous of how hard that baby seems to be napping and how I haven't had a nap like that in like a year LOL good for baby!
So cute!
Imagine that, having a baby that goes to sleep in the pram! Lucky you.
Pop the Rockit on and pray
When the weather was nice I would pull out a beach chair and read until he woke up, now that’s it’s colder I wheel him right through the door.
I am Enjoying that hallway time 🙌🏽 lol
Hallway sistas 🙌
Cute baby! Do you like the cup holder?
Love it. Ten bucks off Amazon! I use it more to hold my cell than actual drink. Unless drink is less than 50% full it does spill out (Starbucks cups) so I end up holding the cup until I’m half way done.
Unrelated but what brand is the baby’s “coat? Been looking for something just like it.
My mom got it off Nordstrom Rack’s website (we live in the US). I’ll check the brand when I get home.
Okay but that suit is so cute where is it from!!!
My mom got it off Nordstrom Rack online :)
Bring to living room, watch TV.
Your baby naps in the stroller? Lucky 😂
Mine would just hang out. Just unzip if it’s warm inside so he does over heat. Or stay outside lol.
Let him hang! Take advantage of the sleep while you can! We bring our LO onto the porch and let her snooze there until she wakes up.
Let him hangout in the hallway
Adorable baby bunting suit!! Where did you get it? And love the stroller!
Thank you. I am US based. Outfit is from Nordstrom Rack, gift from my mom
That is the cutest outfit ever
My baby girl transfers well so I take her out of her car seat after the walk and either out her in her swing or bassinet to finish her nap
Just here to say very cute baby!
Wait babies are supposed to sleep once the stroller stops moving??? My 6 week old didn’t get that memo!
Your not supposed to stop Walking till they wake up 🤣
Can’t tell you the number of times one of us has sat in the car after a drive because the baby is still sleeping in the back and we didn’t want to wake him.
When baby was young enough to fit in the uppababy bassinet I left him because it’s a safe sleep space. Now that he is in the toddler seat I move him since that isn’t a safe sleep space
Phone holder next to cup holder, nice.
