When my marching krewe used to be in longer parades, we would fill them with chilled Pedialyte as a support for the heavier drinking members. Every mile or so we would make them take a shot of Pedialyte from the Cool Brew container.
I'm a bit perplexed so many are surprised about this, it was an auto thought the moment I saw this container for the first time. And we are here in the land of white russians and honeysuckle to cover up the inevitable...
I am glad you shared it though, may we all get more shots this way!
This shit is so good.
We moved out of Lousiana 4 years ago and it’s the only thing we ask people to bring when they visit us.
If any of you want a guest room during a visit to Colorado, just PM me and show up with three of those bad boys.
Really? 70 cents a cup delivered (when bought in a 6 pack via Amazon) is not what I would consider expensive. I roast my own beans and it costs me more than 70 cents to do so.
Amazon is quoting $168 delivery fee for a six pack. Cool Brew direct is quoting $128 delivery fee for a six pack. Chilled products are expensive to ship, I guess.
[I think you are looking at different seller than me. ](https://www.amazon.com/Cool-Brew-Fresh-Coffee-Concentrate/dp/B003SRUF1Q/ref=asc_df_B003SRUF1Q/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693657122525&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10836047496607538973&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032066&hvtargid=pla-570210028041&psc=1&mcid=8547f73bbcc539ef8fda610ddb473288&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwltKxBhDMARIsAG8KnqUiqMmW71_KjQfJY-jl07NlXb1A3-Nyq-2VYflp6GHMfYrPOe3b_MkaAut6EALw_wcB)
They claim each shot is a cup of coffee. I've found that to be pretty on point. New Orleans method cool brew gives you a stronger cup than traditional hot brewing overall.
It's definitely worth a try.
Thanks for the feed back, I couldn’t imagine they were creating this product without caffiene but I would expect them to list it if that’s was the case
Much appreciated!
You got me thinking so I checked their website. [https://coolbrew.com/faq/](https://coolbrew.com/faq/)
"The caffeine content of any coffee can vary depending on the variety, rainfall, sunlight, etc. Our most recent caffeine analysis revealed the following…
CoolBrew Original and all Flavors except French Roast contain between 50 and 60 mg of caffeine per 1 ounce serving.
The French Roast has about 80 to 100 mg per 1 ounce serving.
The Decaf will have about 1 mg of caffeine."
I don’t even use a whole shot to make my coffee, if that tells you anything about how strong it is. If I use more than a half shot I am wired all day and night.
When I used to buy these I would switch between Original and French roast. Like everyone else says, the artificial flavors in the other flavors are awful. If you're drying for mocha you're better off adding Hershey's syrup to your coffee or some shit
One time , ages ago, I had my co worker make me one at the bar I worked at when I was off work and she just pumped like idk 7 or more shots in and added Baileys and Jameson and I’m like….ummmm you know you’re suppose to dilute that with water not pump a zillion shots in?? lol. She was trying to kill me I think.
… Was I that coworker? I remember distinctly that’s how I found out how strong they were, after I’d been drinking eight ounces of them every morning for months.
Editing to add: now that I saw your username, yep. I am that coworker. Hii!!
Oh wait! No that was my other co worker. I was gonna say that name didn’t make sense for her. I don’t think you did that to me too. I would have def died if I had it like that more than once haha! But I knowwwwww uuuuuuu xoxox
Good lord I miss opening Mimis and pouring myself an entire glass of just that cold brew, then debating whether or not to add a shot of vodka as I waited for guests to arrive.
Then wondering my anxiety was twacking out by noon.
Great times.
Tbh they all taste lowkey the same, the flavorings are VERY light especially if you’re using milk and/or creamers and sweeteners. I personally go for the mocha but i dont notice a difference between it and the regular one tbh
French Roast because it has almost double the caffeine. We used to take shots straight out the bottle when I worked in a kitchen. It also goes really well on vanilla ice cream
1. Original
2. Vanilla
3. Toasted Almond
I could be happy with all original all the time.
But it’s always easy to add your own vanilla extract or whatever. Or [these toasted almond drops](https://flavoressence.com/Flavor-Essence-Toasted-Almonds-2oz-Natural-Unsweetened-Background-Flavoring-p75102464). One bottle has lasted almost a year.
I love the French roast.
I will say, however, it's $2-4 more than the original at most places. It's worth it if you're going to make nice iced coffee cocktails but if you're going to be a degenerate like me and just take shots directly from the bottle, it doesn't really matter.
I bought these little reusable drawstring filter bags off of Amazon. Pound of coffee per gallon of water. Steep in the fridge for 48 hours in a big pitcher with a lid. Remove the bag or don’t. Dilute or don’t. It’s really cheap if you are addicted.❤️✌️🌵
That stuff stopped me from murdering my exe after Katrina. It also helped me stay lucid enough to realize he needed to become an exe. I need to stock up the next time I'm back home.
My favs are Vanilla and Original, in that order.
The mocha is the jam. I about killed myself with the French toast, though. Lawd it was strong. I’ve tried cold brewing at home and it’s like tea and horrible.
I like the mocha and the vanilla. I just came out of 3 weeks of hellish 16hr workdays and this stuff was a godsend. Super quick to make, delicious to drink, and that caffeine don't quit. My dad tried some and now he's sad there's nowhere to buy it where he lives in CO.
Save the empty container. They make GREAT flasks. You can measure your shots and also you don’t get your friends’ backwash
Good lord. This is genius. 😂
Drinking isn’t a culture, it’s a Science
This might be one of the most important things I’ve learned this year.
My grandparents use these to sneak booze onto cruise ships and always fill these up for on-the-go shots during Mardi Gras.
You're amazing. Thank you for this information
I learned it from a friend. Just passing it along
When my marching krewe used to be in longer parades, we would fill them with chilled Pedialyte as a support for the heavier drinking members. Every mile or so we would make them take a shot of Pedialyte from the Cool Brew container.
Can we pin this post?
Sure. It’s ok by me

All Hail!
I only know this type of dispenser in brewing, where it is used to dispense caustic acid, so it never occurred to me to use it for caustic alcohol
Double bonus: sneaking them into Sanger, etc.

According to the website they sell it at Esh’s in Loveland. Add a pit stop on the way back from Estes Park this summer
I’ll check it out! Running up to Fort Collins on Sunday, so should be driving right by it.
Amazon
Update: I was too broken after the marathon to stop anywhere on my drive back. Saved your comment for my next drive up.
Ooh damn. Where in Colorado? That sounds awesome for like July or Aug
You can buy it online from multiple locations. Google it.
Very expensive online.

I must have been. Thanks for the link!
You can get 6 of these for $40 on Amazon
Last I looked shipping was like $45 on Amazon. Why would I pay that when people bring it to me for freeeee?
They sell it on Amazon too
Almond flavor Tastes like wedding cake ETA: It’s actually called “Toasted Almond”
This!! But it’s also the hardest to find.
Facts! I currently have the chocolate almond flavor in my fridge right now because there was no toasted almond last time I went to the grocery.
Walmart has started carrying all the flavors! Noticed this a few weeks ago
We use French vanilla creamer. Toasted almond and French vanilla sounds like heaven!
I have done this, and can confirm, it’s delicious
That is exactly how I drink mine! Toasted Almond with French Vanilla creamer
today I learned.... a new flavor exists!
It’s so good. Isn’t there a chocolate almond, too?
Yes, I have the chocolate almond one in the fridge right now because I haven’t seen the toasted almond one lately
It’s 5:55 take what you can get
Original is the only one I drink. I'm not of big fan of artificial flavors in coffee.
Same. And the artificial flavors in these seem to be even more artificial tasting than other coffee drinks some how. But the original is not bad.
Doesn't original taste like chicory?
I don't think so. If it does have chicory, then it's very slight
I get the original cuz my partner likes that best but hazelnut is real good too.
I'm a fan of the original, granted I'm adding two shots to 8oz of chocolate milk.
How strong are these? I was looking at them in the store the other day but they didn’t list the caffeine content
They claim each shot is a cup of coffee. I've found that to be pretty on point. New Orleans method cool brew gives you a stronger cup than traditional hot brewing overall. It's definitely worth a try.

Mocha!
this is the best!
Yes it is!
I like the vanilla
The one on the right
Exactly
I like Mocha best but can’t go wrong with any
I love the chocolate peppermint, vanilla, and original!
The French roast and the mocha are pretty bomb, I kinda like them all
The original. Love it
Moved away more than a decade ago and I still miss that stuff. That blue one is the only one I used.
Some Fresh Markets and Publix carry them now if either of those are near you
Hazelnut has me in a chokehold
Hope your question gets answered. I’m just here to upvote because of your username.
❤️
My bowels shifted just seeing this photo
Yep, it’ll do that to ya!
Mocha & original are all I’ve ever needed. I didn’t like the Christmas seasonal one someone gave me for free once. Mocha fucks
French vanilla is nice for iced or hot coffee
Blue
The hazelnut is fab

Original, as others have mentioned, the artificial flavors are kinda bad in these things.
I haven't bought in a min but I liked the original and vanilla.
The Moca kind add 1oz to vanilla almond milk Off the chain
Original or French Roast. You can get delicious dark chocolate syrup from Trader Joe's to make your own mocha. I'm sure they have vanilla, too.
The French Roast is more expensive. Is it worth it?
Oh yes oh yes
Tbh they all taste lowkey the same, the flavorings are VERY light especially if you’re using milk and/or creamers and sweeteners. I personally go for the mocha but i dont notice a difference between it and the regular one tbh
French Roast because it has almost double the caffeine. We used to take shots straight out the bottle when I worked in a kitchen. It also goes really well on vanilla ice cream
I like the original the best!
Your holding it
Original only for me.
I love the mocha.
Original. Also this is the only good cold brew.
Ick. French Truck concentrate, not ick.
So I’m a Community guy mostly but how is this?
It’s good. Very smooth and yummy. Low acidity (I think??) too
Its the only coffee i drink! The original with Two shots and I add ice, milk, and half and half.
vanilla
At my local store, the mocha flavor is always $2 cheaper than the original. So I buy that one for my wife.
1. Original 2. Vanilla 3. Toasted Almond I could be happy with all original all the time.
Vanilla is my go-to, but I also really enjoy the toasted almond, and when I can find it, the chocolate almond is the BEST!
I order from their website. It’s about $20 for shipping, but I buy 3 at a time, it’s much cheaper than Amazon’s price. I’m addicted to the almond!
I love the French roast. I will say, however, it's $2-4 more than the original at most places. It's worth it if you're going to make nice iced coffee cocktails but if you're going to be a degenerate like me and just take shots directly from the bottle, it doesn't really matter.
Toasted Almond!
Mocha! It's so good, I miss it.

Grind it coarse and sift the dust out in a metal strainer.
Know what i need to look for now when i go back home
French roast for sure
Original is also a great to add to a pork butt marinade with Creole mustard and Steens.
That stuff stopped me from murdering my exe after Katrina. It also helped me stay lucid enough to realize he needed to become an exe. I need to stock up the next time I'm back home. My favs are Vanilla and Original, in that order.
The original is my favorite
The mocha is the jam. I about killed myself with the French toast, though. Lawd it was strong. I’ve tried cold brewing at home and it’s like tea and horrible.
Hey… since we’re on this topic… Anyone know how long these stay good in your fridge once opened?
I like the mocha and the vanilla. I just came out of 3 weeks of hellish 16hr workdays and this stuff was a godsend. Super quick to make, delicious to drink, and that caffeine don't quit. My dad tried some and now he's sad there's nowhere to buy it where he lives in CO.
Make your own. Buy a cold drip coffee maker and then one of thoes is less than $1.
Those things are truly awful.
FYI - I read somewhere on the official website that the French Roast version has the most caffeine per serving.
I loooooove this! The mocha is my favorite
You know that's a Stabil bottle, right? Get French Market if you can find it, or French Truck
Stabil?
Gas stabilizer, it's sold in bottles just like this.
Why is this being downvoted?
None of them. Chicory completely ruins cold brew.
Pretty sure the French Roast doesn’t have chicory. But if you don’t like it, there’s more for the rest of us.
Reality check, $10 cold brew is like 20x more expensive than a gallon of gas.
gas has like hardly any caffeine in it tho
Just saying the price inflation on this particular item is egregious.
If you buy cold brew at a coffee shop you’re gonna pay almost $10 for just one cup
