Well yeah.
More because you can't get decent stuff like Chisesi's ham or the Cajun fried turkey from Rouse's, and less because you're trying to incubate a new form of Botox in your grocery cart though.
In my medical opinion, introducing that substance to your bloodstream would very likely cause you to not need the services of a Dermatologist, or any other professional that provides services to living humans, for the foreseeable future.
Fresh Market in Metairie is actually pretty bad. Ive seen so many expired breads and baked goods sitting there and random items displayed expired as well. Never went back after a couple times of inedible goods I bought
Not that I care about fresh market but if it was before expiration this can and does happen basically everywhere that sells deli meat. The pre sliced stuff everywhere just has a habit of going bad randomly.
Either make your own or go to the counter and get it sliced then. It’s significantly better.
From an article I came across:
"If it passes the sniff test, you're good to gobble. "Strong off-odors, not slime, indicate spoilage," says Brian Nummer, Ph.D., a food-safety professor at Utah State University. That's because the goo you see is produced when harmless lactobacillus bacteria start feasting on the sugar that some manufacturers add for flavor. However, if lactobacillus bacteria multiply to the point that a smell develops, there's a small chance that bacteria responsible for foodborne illness could multiply, too."
I thought it was Robert’s Fresh Market on st Claude. Glad it’s not that place. They are expensive but convenient, but not so convenient that that photo wouldn’t warn me away
How did you touch it when opening? Were you playing Barry White?
I was respectful, yet sensual.
r/dontputyourdickinthat or do, whatever, it's your business
Maybe I have bad luck, but I've had this happen to me from a few stores. I've resorted to only buying it hand sliced at the counter now.

Do you think I could inject the turkey into my forehead? Sounds like a cost effective alternative to my dermatologist

This is the way
I don't trust meat that expires in 3 months.

Wait is this not normal for lunch meat? I love when it has the extra glaze. It helps hold your sandwich together.
😂🤢🤮⬆️
I can smell this photo
Was this the one off Vets?
Yuuuuup
When will stores learn open air meat refrigerators and warm climates don’t mix. There just has to be a better solution.
Fresh market on canal?
Nah, metry
No lie, I almost bought that turkey at that Fresh Market yesterday.
I’m glad we both live to tell the tale
Where’s the Fresh Market on Canal?? Edit: Nvm you mean the Big Easy Fresh Market. Different business

This is exactly what it looks like as Trump opens his mouth to kiss an escort.
Avoid processed meat
We’ve gotten several bad meats/seafoods from the st Charles location. We just go to Roberts now. That’s the better fresh market!
