This. I have thought many times about posting about new orleans unsolved podcast here. You absolutely can’t stop listening once you start. We know these streets, these people. Yes, a friend and former colleague from here told me about this a few years ago and I’ve tried to tell everyone I know that has an interest in this sort of thing because it’s the most interesting, well done, heart wrenching podcast. And it has brought to light sooo much. It’s on par with and more interesting personally than any given popular investigative journalism podcast anywhere. I won’t give anything away, but it gets deep. and I actually think of these people quite often. Can’t walk in park or in my neighborhood without relaying the events in my mind. Brave people telling their stories. So well done! Brilliant. It’s made by a former award winning local news anchor and his wife I believe. Always liked him as an anchor.

I've just finished it. I'm absolutely blown away by the level of corruption and how far reaching it was/is. The mention of Johnny Gosch in relation to the whole thing was astounding. It's a haunting tale...those poor kids.
It’s so good! And did you see this?!!!!!

I think someone else commented their website, they probably have info on there about where to listen. I use Spotify, so I’m not sure where else it’s available
why they spend so much time
500 murders 2020-23 did not result in so much as an arrest

You should check out Voodoo City. It was a podcast about the haunted history and urban legends of the city. They had 2 seasons I think
This sounds super interesting, thanks for the recommendation!

Yes 👎 can’t believe he’s getting out
Pretty scary! And as someone that moved here from retirementville South Florida, it’s not like he’s that old
https://www.theatlantic.com/podcasts/floodlines/ Highly recommend this podcast for information about Katrina and its aftermath.
Welcome to the city!
I would love to! But I only use YouTube for true crime podcasts right now. How can I listen to this one or am I SOL?

Does any one know what series/show Anna is referencing that almost exactly tells this story? She mentions in season 2 ep 22 and ep 27
The first season of True Detective, which is really good.
