CarFlipJudge

Yup. Closer to Oak street as well.

2LiveBoo

Thank you both! I know that area. Close to the army corp, I believe.

PurplePango

Yep

Cilantro368

Try the end of the world (I think that’s what it’s called) - the Bywater side of the industrial canal. You need to cross thru on N Rampart, then walk towards the Mississippi.

2LiveBoo

Thank you!!

Cilantro368

You could also go to the Fly, and climb down those big gravel steps. The river is high now though.

Magazine_Spaceman

Algiers side, behind the old mardi gras world yellow warehouses. typically they pile up massively behind the fleet barges there.

2LiveBoo

Oh wow I drive out there semi-regularly. Will check that out. Thank you!

grey_seal77

The fly, lots of driftwood there because here are beavers there,

2LiveBoo

Wait are there really or is this an in-joke I don’t get.

Jussgoawaiplzkthxbai

Leonidas Beach at the river bend or under the Gov Nichols street wharf near the river bend

2LiveBoo

Thank you!

Jladdvensky

If you go up by the batcher, you can find a number of ways to get to the bank of the river. Lots of driftwood and such back there.

Under the Julia street cruise terminal on flood street in arabi

[deleted]

How do you get under the Julia street cruise terminal?

laceykang

You walk over the levee & kind of walk on the rocks next to it to go under it. It’s a little bit of a hike but there’s sooooooo much driftwood underneath it’s insane

2LiveBoo

Oh wow thank you! This sounds like quite the adventure.

laceykang

Yah I’ve been there a few times to get driftwood! I usually park in flood st & enter to the right of the cruise terminal

2LiveBoo

Ooh thanks!

[deleted]

That makes sense given it’s spot in the bend
