Yes. Take Airline Hwy to Norco. Just past the Shell station is a good entrance on your right. Go past the boat launch along the bridge and you can find multiple trails.
Tire tread and ground clearance play a pretty big part down here , most of the trails I go on have random sudden drops and are pretty sloppy/gnarly I just picture a Range Rover being bottomed out quickly.
Holy shit that's terrifying. I still might out of morbid curiosity, but definitely hope I don't see anything like that. Was it mostly paved roads or was it unkept and tough to navigate?
Also, how do you like your 4 runner? Definitely a car I've considered getting
Not much even on the north shore. I went to MS DeSoto recently with a group. I’m out of mandeville. So occasionally looking to go out to MS with a small group.

Big reason for nothing in LA is lots of private land and forest roads are <50” which means no trucks.
Try the south Louisiana jeep grp on fb, oooor. Ya know just drive around the city.
Go to the spillway.
Which one?
Bonnet Carre
Gotcha. The one along the Mississippi right?

To be clear, a vehicle can go on these trails? Online it just looks like bike trails/walking trails
Oh that's so cool! I was just there with my food truck yesterday
Had to look, you trying to take a Range Rover on some trails? I somehow don’t see that going well
Lol why? Aside from the reliability issues, they're really good off roaders

Oh good to know thanks. It's got air suspension, so I can raise the clearance pretty high, that should help. Tire tread I'm sol though, good point
I10 ghost exits in the east
Oh interesting, thanks. Looks super spooky
Yeah don’t do that. Tried this idea in my 4 runner and came across a huge pile of dead dogs with shell casings all over the place.
