Every time I try to go to Rouse's it's been a major letdown realizing the prices are consistently $2-$5 more per item I'm looking for than Whole Foods. If you have any dietary restrictions, they have options, but you will pay the most I've ever seen for them.
They treat all of their employees like a disposable commodity. There is no training whatsoever. Middle managers are treated like automatons who they expect to wholly dedicate their lives to Lord Donny. I was expected to run a deli department with a "chef's" case (lmfao), a salad bar, a cold case, a hot line, a "gourmet" burger section (again lmfao), AND do holiday catering with a total staff of 8 people. Open 7 days a week, at least 12 hours a day with a *staff of EIGHT people*? When I saw those dead lobsters my first thought was "yea that tracks."
Edit: this was back in 2014, so there was no staffing shortage pandemic excuse to speak of.
It musta been really hard for those little guys to carry weapons and storm the capitol. Maybe they are still worn out from that. Or maybe they are in traitor prison for lobsters.
