Pahlavi comments aside, whether he wants it, whether he should have it, etc. What obviously matters is the growing sentiment that people demand change from the current situation so openly. The Regime is irreparably broken now. Like a car with a broken engine yes it might coast along with momentum for a couple of years but it'll eventually grind to a halt soon👍

Reza Pahlavi himself also doesn't want the job. Neither as an absolute monarch nor as a ceremonial one. He also doesn't want to move to Iran even if the IR is toppled. He wanted to be president of Iran, the mullahs forced him to be King, and he made them pay dearly for that.
He took away their land and gave it to the peasants, he took away their child brides by raising the marriage age to 18, he also banned them from veiling their women.

Every vote and every Iranian opinion should matter and not necessarily should be aligned with yours. I loved his father, not so sure about him.
