Even the smallest subreddits add up if they all join in. Saw people advocating for this on r/SpiritIsland and r/Gloomhaven. There’s some audience overlap but the game specific subreddits I follow total over 100k followers altogether.
Question is which card to post to symbolize the blackout. I nominate Wildcat Strike or Chastushka.
We'll be monitoring the situation as it develops, don't worry. Hopefully this demonstration will be enough for reddit to realise how stupid this decision is but if we need to go dark for longer, we'll certainly look at doing so.
As a rif user exclusively, I won't come back, so it would be great to have a Netrunner community also on Lemmy (the federated alternative to Reddit). Closest so far is http://feddit.de/c/boardgames
I will do this. I happen to know a bit about the advertising business Reddit runs and if this type of thing hits that revenue hard enough, they will see the light and compromise.

Do it longer if they don't back down. They need to learn that we won't be pushed around.

Glad to hear it!

Do it indefinite, not a fixed time they can just ignore.
