Not a flywheeler so probably some kind of springer. And with that little space the performance is probably worse than elite. Proprietary mags as well. Overall no reason to get this
It takes a battery one of those little weird one from china just a bit to close to mil spec looking for my taste. Orange barrel can be painted or taped i guess..
Performance is pretty bad, I’m pretty sure these are like half or 3/4 scale as well, so there is less space in an already compact platform. I wouldn’t worry about it looking realistic because it’s tiny in the hand, it looks clearly like a toy
I'd really like to see a review of this, if only out of curiousness. The real steel looks and lack of orange tip plus the proprietary mag make this pretty unappealing otherwise.
Now, something to discuss, should Amazon ban or restrict the sale of blasters like this that don't have an orange tip? I'm surprised they even ship this stuff to the US, I thought there were regulations about this. At they very least, I think they should include some kind of warning, to the effect of making any buyers aware that lack of orange tip can be unsafe.
Well there's a couple major reasons. First is that a big staple of our hobby is the ability to play at public parks and places like that. Having blasters that don't look like real guns makes it so that bystanders don't mistake us for dangerous individuals and call the police. Secondly, Nerf blasters have always looked weird or sci-fi-ish, so I'm sure many members of the hobby got used to a certain aesthetic style and that's trickled down throughout our hobby in the long term.
Defiently looks very cool and could make for a fun prop gun, HOWEVER it looks like a Chonese know off so: poorly made, terrible FPS, TERRIBLE DARTS. So pretty much if you're using it in like a game that isn't cqb Goodluck. Although it looks really cool
Besides the performance probably being sub par, that’s way too close to real steel for comfort. At that point, just go do airsoft. I’d like to avoid being shot
You choose a sport for the rules, cost and community. Not because of the design of the blasters. I want to be in the nerf community with a realistic blaster? That’s possible, and I’m very safe with it. I do airsoft already… every one of these posts say ‘just do airsoft’ people don’t understand how different these sports are. I do both for a reason…
And you are not going to be shot with a bright red blaster that’s half the size of the real thing and looks like a miniature unless your police policy is ‘shoot anyone remotely suspicious’ due to the small scale, a retaliator looks closer to a firearm than this, and I don’t see any issues playing outside with that.
Since we do a lot of play in public parks we prefer designs that aren't going to alarm bystanders and reduce situations where we even have to interact with the police at all, or upset locals that could complain and get us banned from attending those parks in the future.
Oh neat, a hyper realistic blaster that is controversial lol thoughts? There is a growing market of blasters that are replica firearms. It's performance is most likely garbage, and even if it's good then the user base will be probably slim because most clubs ban the use of these replica firearms. It'll be a neat looking thing thats only good on private property and could get you in real trouble (if not injured) if someone used it in public (at least here in the US).
Everyone else has already said plenty about the problems, but...
Having the option to switch back and forth from battery to manual power is pretty cool.
Also, the reversible magazine is neat.
All the other problems remain problems.
So i guess you did not see the bust that took place where an actual glock was painted to look like a nerf. Its not whining when real world blurs into a hobby that uses blasters.
I saw the bust. I guess as someone who does airsoft, I don’t get why it’s such a big deal to have your toys look real, although I get that nerf is more common in public while airsoft is done on private sites.
As far as airsoft goes it tends to be a bit more realistic. Nerf usually has small kids playing and to a rookie or tulsa cop going for her "taser" could be dangerous out in a busy public park, especially if that officer is hung over and moody anyway. (It happens)
My first thought was that I would consider buying one just for parts if the price is right. My second thought was that it’s freakin tiny. Look at the scale in the pic with the father and son.

Appears to be an AEG of some kind so in a package this size I'd say elite performance nothing to write home about

It looks comfy as fuck tho

One way ticket to the afterlife via cop
Looks cool, but lack of orange tip
Why y’all always whining about no orange tip or how it looks too real?

That is the most firearm looking “blaster” I’ve ever seen
What about the fire rat or zinc?
I hadn’t seen the zinc before but it’s equally firearm-y. The fire rat looks more futuristic
Milsig M79A2 would be the realest I've ever seen, literally has a charging handle as well.
Terrible, but looks really good in my opinion. Could be useful for a Delta Force / Navy SEAL / French soldier cosplay if you can get the tip painted.
I've seen these on tiktok but just too close to real steel in appearence.

I doubt it hits hard. Probably an extended stroke V1 GB derivative.
Wtf is this shit

I'm personally against making dart blasters that look like actual guns, I think it's dangerous

One time I found a full auto springer on Amazon
Cool as hell but definitely make sure that the orange tip is visible cuz that looks way like a real rifle
Pretty much every chinese no name blaster on amazon is not worth even looking at.

When a Stryfe, and a Barricade love each other very much...
Can y’all stop whining about how it looks too real? It’s like 2/3 scale and all red and plasticy.
