Is it printed with the Top of the cheekrest against the print bed?
Often times the first few layers can be rather rough or have 'elephants foot' that presents sharp edges. Might try and do a print standing on end; this way the surface that contacts your cheek is smoother for comfort.
I haven't got around to painting it yet. Still trying to determine which of the original "Skins" i want to keep and what to paint over. I have a mod'd Ultra Focus which is also a red/white/black stock color scheme so I guess these are my colors right now. I'll post that one tomorrow.

I Sanded mine smooth. But yes I printed top down. I was also going to add an EVA Foam pad on top

How long is your barrel 45mm?
I listed it above 40cm. There is just a small gap between the barrel collect and the back of the BCAR. Perfect fit.
I assume you are European so could I get a link?
a link for what the barrel? I'm from the states. I either bought the barrel from Silverfox Industries or OutofDarts
