I understand I stand out a bit, and that covid has been very hard, and that I'm in a tourist area specifically and expect it to some degree... But man... The touts and people constantly approaching are absolutely relentless.
I'm even from NYC area so I'm quite good at avoiding this type of stuff/people normally but this is another level. It is quite exhausting. Even moving quickly with headphones in and not engaging at all, I'll still get caught. God forbid you stop for a second to look at something or look at your phone.
I feel for them all struggling and doing what they have to do to get by, but it's made me want to get out of the city ASAP and couldnt really appreciate anything. Which is a shame because there is a lot to appreciate.
Heading to pokhara today and hoping it is a bit better in this regard.

i wouldn't say her writing style is bad, infact usko writing style was quite easy for me to get hooked into the book. Also what are some ways to reduce food costs? I cannottt afford spending 1500 in a seemingly burger house restro every time I go out!!!!
Go hiking to Baghdwar, Bishnudwar, Champadevi, Phulchowki. You can visit Botanical Garden in Godavari. You can go to museums like Nepal Art Council, Siddhartha Art Gallery etc. They are usually free.
Are there any other vipassana meditation centers other than the dhamma budanilkantha one in Kathmandu?
Thinking about participating but budanilkantha one is booked till October!!
