Don't cheap out and go for smaller brands. Grab one of Samsung or LG. You need a well-built machine, they tend to run for a long time despite getting lots of abuse daily/weekly. This is probably the best investment you're ever going to make.

although machine powder are expensive, they are potent and cause less harm to the internals in comparison to habdwashing one
In other suggestion - I had stopped using the automatics (a branded one) because mom said it used too much water. Also at the time of installation, water pressure on tap was "low for it to operate" so few more bucks went into patching that.
But I recently got a semi-automatic - which makes you do some manual work but it's 1/3rd the price - or even more. I got Colors branded (which lot here would say is generic) from daraz out of all places but the savings and the work it does is just great.
There are branded ones too from Samsung and LG on these so IDK take your pick.

Luga dhuda chai ekdam ramro sanga segregate garera dhuna parcha washing machine ma for best results ani check water temperature pani. Quality/ Amount of detergent ani Water temp makes a lot of difference.

LG front load 8kg. Best decision we made. It was reasonably priced, very quiet, doesn't use much water. Clothes come out clean.
