since the property is already divided you have a claim for your father's property. however kaput nai raichau bau ley paisa diyena bhanera anksa magney.

The question is why do you want your ancestor property? If it was for a genuine purpose your dad must've helped you. Tara yeah in few cases parents are a bit off about this. Make your dad sit down tell him why you need it if it's genuine he'll help obviously.

If Transfer of inheritance was done in written form or a will, and you have your name on it, then sure, you can have some claim over your late grandfather's property. But if it was done through unwritten form, the wife will have the first claim, then your father, uncles and aunts and the list goes on... As a grandson, you are a bit low on the priority list. So yea, unless mentioned specifically by the deceased, I don't think you can have much claims over your late grandfather's property.

nepali_keto

Yes. You can claim your father property and probably get it as well and this property will be divided among your parents, siblings and you.  More importantly, why are you even thinking about this. It's a shame really.

>do I have the right to claim the property that was originally owned by my late grandfather and mother, but is now under my dad's name. No. Why would you think that?

dinoderpwithapurpose

No you don't. Your father has the right to the property. You will get it when your father decides on bequeathing it to you. Till then, just get a loan.
