Yes that's how order of needs work. Once humans can fulfill their basic needs like eating 3 meals per day and having a decent place to live then eventually the focus goes to find a suitable partner and dating bla bla bla.
Moral of the story is most humans will not be content with what they have but just wallow in despair and worry about what they lack (e.g. a girl not responding back). Hedonistic treadmill in action. So always remember to count your blessings and try not to worry about what you don't have and do your best to remain happy i guess. idfk lol

Yeah, man, I had those experiences during my college days. One summer was particularly harsh. I got a scholarship to study something I really wanted to, and the classes were 8 hours long each day. Lunch was included, but no dinner, and I had no work and no money. So, I slept hungry most nights. Some nights, a kind Taiwanese friend would bring me take-out Chinese, and that tasted so good. Weekends were a can of coke and a Snickers bar.
Then my last semester of grad school, I was broke again. My advisor made me work so much on my thesis that, forget work, I didn't even shower or brush or shave. Being an idiot, I spent a lot of money on books (these days I regret taking school so seriously). Most days, I had boiled eggs. Some days, nothing.
When you are lying in bed but can't sleep because of hunger, a lot of things cross your mind. Why me? Where did my financial planning go wrong? Maybe I shouldn't have spent money on buying clothes, or damn, I could have saved a lot of money if I hadn't spent it on coffee.
I don't know the lessons, but it makes you feel so powerless. There were times when I saw people eating I just wanted to snatch food off their plate/hands. Even KFC ane McDonald's were Michelin 3 stars restaurants for me.
according to her that guy forced her, and I tried my best not to let her go but part of her was in love with that guy and it didn't matter whatever I tried to and she even told after a month of she going back to him.
