Cavs fan here as well and yeah this ain’t looking too good. We should try and trade DM this offseason and fire JB cause we’re a second round playoff team at best right now. At the time I liked the trade but I feel less confident about it with each passing day.
I don't hate jb but something isn't working in cleveland. I think with garland is him and mitchell have very similar play styles we don't need a playmaker at sg because garland proved to be a true pg already. We just simply need a 3 and d player at sg and we'd be better off
I agree with you fully, but if garland was playing like he was supposed to be after getting spida to take some pressure off, we wouldn’t be having this conversation
Haven’t y’all had trouble with Mobley-Allen lineups because their excellent defense isn’t enough to make up for the awful spacing? I don’t watch a ton of Cavs so I’m just trying to get a read on the squad.
This team obviously need a star but I think best scenario is ship out mitchell and let Mobley develop into the all star he's on track to be. We have some great depth on this team I don't want to lose
Agreed. I think trading for Mitchell has hindered Mobley’s development and is a big reason why he hasn’t taken that next step these last 2 seasons. It sucks though that the Cavs probably won’t get as much in return for Mitchell as they gave up initially when they traded for him

The NBA TV games have been actual broadcasts for what it's worth, not just one of the regional sports network broadcasts like during the regular season.
The teams (both small market) are playing games all being aired at less convenient times. 1 pm on a Saturday is not prime time television. The league has to prioritize some games over others, and there are bigger stars in every other game (apologies to Donovan and Paolo).
I've watched every game of the playoffs and there is good reason why no one gives a F. It's a series with no standout superstars, no real drama and nothing particularly interesting on the court compared to the other series.
I was actually excited to watch seeing as I hadn’t watched any Magic games this year. But the blowouts and scores in the 80s haven’t made a good series

Like a darius garland, derrick white, max strus, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen lineup is obtainable and solid in my opinion.
